I called Theta Electric on Tuesday morning (9/2) and spoke to a well versed customer service person. She shared information about Theta Electric, including that their electricians had background checks, which I appreciated. Once I shared with her what I needed she promptly made the appointment for the panel replacement for the very next day (9/3). That afternoon (9/2) Keith Sutter called to ask if he could come by to review the needs of the job, to ensure that when he arrived on 9/3 he all of the needed parts (no charge), I said yes and Keith arrived at the agreed upon time. Keith arrived at the scheduled time on 9/3 and promptly began the job. Partway into the job Keith shared that he had found an issue with wiring from the pool into the panel, it had been done incorrectly. He needed parts and returned in less than a half an hour with the needed parts to complete the job. The job was completed within the amount of time I was told it would take AND at the price that I was quoted! Keith Sutter was professional, friendly and left the work area clean and neat, I could not have asked for a better service person to take care of our home's electrical needs. No matter the size of your electrical project, I gladly recommend both Keith and Theta Electric to anyone needing any type of electrical work for their home or business.

The installation estimate was very high but I agreed to proceed due to time contraints and my schedule. The installation went very well. I think this could have been done more reasonably by another company. I won't use them again.

My experience with them has been excellent. They are just very professional and prompt. They deliver what they say they are going to deliver. They are cost effective. I have referred them to other people/customers. They have thanked me for the referral. With regard to price, they had a special deal. I can't remember if they were here on time or not; I think they were.

Their price sounded reasonable. It went fine.

I know the cost was extremely expensive. The cost was like $500 to move the 220 outlet from one side of the kitchen to the other. The cost included the installation and the parts. I have never used them again. The quality of service was good.

He did an excellent job. I was very pleased with it. He showed up on time, right on the dock and he went right to work and was in and out probably within 45 minutes.

They are good. They are dependable. They know what they are doing and I think their prices are fairly reasonable.

They are cool. They have done a lot of work here. They are clean and good. They came when they said they were going to come. Everything was right and there’s no problem. They are working on my house now through a subcontractor. I have a contractor and he has hired them to work on my house. When they were working here I asked them to do something extra and they did it. They seemed reasonable on price. They seemed fine. They weren’t cheap but they weren’t higher than the next guy. They seemed to be right inline on whatever people were charging.

They seemed adequate. Their quote was higher than I wanted to pay. So I went with a different provider. They provided the quote for free. They were responsive. They provided a quote upon my request. So that was good. They were punctual.

My experience with them was fairly good. I thought their prices were a little on the high side. The actual work they did was good, but the only thing I thought was their pricing was a little high. The one thing that they never mentioned in their ad in Angie’s List is the fact that they have a trip charge that is not absorbed into the actual fee when they perform their work. The trip charge is flat and that is above and beyond any fees they charge for work performed. I would consider using them in the future, but I would price it out with some other providers and just depending on price, that would actually determine if I would be going with them again or not.

I had a great experience. They're meticulous even they made mistakes they fixed them and came back on their own dollar. It was good and they're on time. I would use them again in the future.

I do not think the price was unreasonable. Our experience with them was all good.

They were all right. Their prices are pretty high. The young man who came to my house was the master electrician. I like him. He was really good and very personable. When I called to get some electric work done, he no longer works there so I just went to another provider. It was fine. They did the electric right. We never had any problem. They were right here. There’s no problem with punctuality.

Went smooth. Showed up on time. Very professional. Also gave me quote on upgrading electrical panel and running electric to the back of the house for a hot tub that I plan on buying in the future.

Perfect! They showed up exactly when they said they would. Even called ahead to let us know they were coming. Performed all the work we had agreed upon for the amount of money we had agreed upon. And did it in a timely manner, causing us no stress or strain with the power being out. They let us know when something would be off, so we could prepare for it. They were polite and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better company to do electrical work! If we need electric work done in the future, Theta Electric is who we will call.

They have done several jobs for us very satisfactorily. But the last time I called, we had a non-routine problem (some lights would go out when large appliances were turned on) in the summer, but not in the winter. On November 21, 2013, a Theta electrician came, but off our scheduled time so he had to deal with my wife - a good nurse, but not acquainted with electrical affairs. When I got home and saw the invoice, I was surprised by a charge for analysis @ $200 in addition to the service call charge of $49. Based on his analysis, he proposed to upgrade our new 100 Amp Service to 150 Amp service for a charge of $1,672. He also referred to "additional work" in the kitchen, at a price tbd and to change the aluminum service wire, again at a price tbd. I could not figure out how upgrading to 150 Amp service was going to address out problem. Winter came and the problem seemed to disappear. But again, as summer came the dimming began again. This time, I called the power company, Duke Electric. As soon as the Duke man parked and examined the outside (Duke system) he informed me that there was a corrosion problem in the drop line from the pole to the house. The wires were aluminum, had been installed over 40 years ago, and had corroded at each end. In about an hour, he had respliced 4 terminals - 2 at our house and 2 at the pole - and the problem had disappeared. We did not need the 100 Amp service replaced, nor did we need kitchen and service line rework after all. If we had followed Theta's advice, we probably would have spent over $2,500 and the problem would not have been solved. Grade F for the $200 analysis!

Although this took quite a bit of diagnostic time, the total charges to diagnose and fix the room lighting that was not working was approx $150.

he did that job excellent well and let me watch, which I always enjoy. he then went over my circuit board and electrical system (free for nothing ) and pronounced it excellent as well. very nice man. I haven't need electrical help since then but if I do I will definitely turn to Theta.

I tried to replace a switch and lights on my boat dock and ran into trouble when I found 220 wiring system. Called them up on a Saturday morning and had someone out with-in two hours. Pricing was explained upfront. Very reasonable price, tech was on time and very professional. Everything works great. Will use them and recommend them in the future for any electrical needs.

I have recently relocated from this area. But they are very professional. They tell you their name and they present themselves in uniform. They are very careful not to mess up your flooring by ensuring they wear footies. They will explain things very thoroughly. They are good about communicating what they are doing or what they need to do. I feel they are very reasonbly priced as well.

We've used Theta several times in the past year and a half, and they've always been competent and professional, and we've never had a problem with any repair or installation they've made. I appreciate that they tell me what it will cost for them to provide equipment vs. the service charge if we provide the equipment, and they've done minimal upselling or products or services we probably don't need. To be honest, I haven't done a lot of price comparison, so I don't know how their prices compare with other companies...just scanning feedback on Angie's List, I'm guessing mid-range, but I haven't collected bids to assess that.

The installer was on time and professional. The final bill was exactly as quoted.

Called today and he came right out. The technician was very good! Only took 20 minutes to fix, he was clean and the cost was satisfactory.

Jeff came out for the estimate after we set up an appointment at the home show. He was a complete professional and gave a detailed explanation about the service as well as the cost breakdown for replacing an amp breaker and panel inspection. Keith came out to perform the service and not only took care of what we agreed upon, but checked out our non-grounded electrical outlets, and advised us on whether he thought we needed to spend the money to replace them (he advised not to replace). I was very happy with the entire experience, and they even called me to ensure my appointment went smoothly and sent a thank-you note. Great job!
