The company did more than I anticipated. In fact, the onsite crew went further than the arborist originally proposed. Having done so, the owner accepted the quoted price by the arborist rather than what the job should have cost.

The crew arrived first thing, in the morning, made sure that all of the work was done as we wanted and cleaned up all of the limbs and other debris.

They did a great job on all the trees. I told them I would call them again if I have any other issues or needs for tree service.

Went fantastic, everything was done as explained by the arborist. The price was FAR below the other two quotes I received, they did an excellent job and I would hire them again in a minute. Cleaned all the debris, excellent company.

I have used them about 4-5 years ago to remove some pine trees for us (3 trees). They also trimmed back the tree that needs trimmed again now. They do very well, and I have not had any issues. I have recommended them to a couple other people. They have all the right equipment which is really important (Boom Truck, grinders, etc.), and are an established company. The pricing is not the cheapest, but they do a great job!

Extremely well. A crew of 4 or 5 with heavy duty equipment arrived at 8:00 AM and worked straight thru until about 2:00 PM. The whole process went smoothly from making the appointment until they cleaned up and left. There was a lot to do. All 13 trees required work. They even raised a tree branch for a neighbor from our tree that was low risking his car being scratched.

They're excellent and professional. They didn't even leave a twig afterward.

These guys gave me great service. I had an obnoxious, invasive tree whose sprouts were taking over my backyard. I read many stories online about how difficult it is to get rid of this type of tree. They removed it & it has not returned.

We've used Pinellas Tree Service twice in the past several years. Once to trim a large palm and then to remove a 50' Slash Pine. Both times we received excellent service. When our 34' Queen Palm needed trimming we called Pinellas Tree last week (1/10/2016) for an estimate. Their arborist informed us the tree had Ganoderma, root rot, and should be removed before it fell. We agreed and accepted their proposal. Saturday night (1-16-2016) it fell, missing everything but the ground! Emailed Pinellas Tree that day explained the situation and this morning (at 7:48 am 1/18/2016) they arrived and removed the toppled palm. Let me add that Saturday night the area had a violent storm, heavy rains, wind with a tornado nearby. No doubt Pinellas Tree Service had ringing phones and many requests for their services. My wife and I very much appreciate their prompt attention to our problems and rapid response. We could not be more pleased with their help. As an aside, it's easy to find unlicensed. unbonded "tree services" (usually two guys, a truck and a ladder), Pinellas Tree gladly shows proof of proper bonds and licenses.

Emailed the provider through Angie's List on 8/17 providing the potential work and provided by cell phone number. 11 days later, still zero response from the provider. Will be using another on Angie's List.

:I am President of a condo community. We signed a contract with this provider to trim and chop off limbs of live Oak Trees and a couple other trees - contract amount = $2,450. They came at 8 am to do the job - as arranged as I sleep late, another board member was up and got them going. At 8:15, I got a frantic call from the board member that the contractor was not going to do the job we wanted done and to please come down and talk to the foreman. At that time in the morning w/o coffee, I was a perfect mark! The foreman told me that they couldn't do what we wanted done (1 live oak was not included in the contract and some other miscellaneous items, very confusing). If we wanted to the the work done that day we would have to renegotiate the contract. He wanted $5,000 to complete the job and added that we could pay $2500 down and the rest in five month installments at $500 per month. Both red flags that should have alerted me that I was being taken! Double the contract amount and the FOREMAN offering an easy payment plan! In my foggy brain, I accepted the offer. .Later when I understood a little more fully what I had done, I realized that I had been taken. Should have told to carry out the contract and what he didn't do, we could have gotten done by another service for less than $2500. The Invoice that followed reinforced that idea: difference between the original contract and invoice - 1 live oak. When I notified our property manager, she agreed that the invoiced amount was far too much (after the fact, $3000 would have been appropriate). She spoke to the manager of Pinellas Tree Service who rejected any change in the contract as signed by me at the time of the cutting. So, I paid $2000 out of pocket (for my mistake) of that $5,000 and the association paid the rest. Bottom line: the company probably is a legitimate tree service - they did a good job and cleaned up well after - but beware that this company will likely step in if they see an opportunity to cash in! Good work, poor ethics!

wonderful, they did it in about 2-3 hours. Had a grinder. Charged 700 dollars, blew off the roof, cleaned up really good, do not have to worry about branches falling off trees onto house.

I was at work when they came but they did a great job and cleaned everything up before they left. The large tree looks so much better and looks like a new tree. They didn't even bill me for the service until I saw the results because they wanted to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I was more than satisfied and will recommend them to anyone who asks. I will definitely use them again!

They did not do the work in the timeframe that they said they would. The salesman told me that one of the owners would be on the jobsite when the work was performed. When he wrote the proposal he wrote, "customer would like to have one of the owners present" which was untrue. When I called I kept getting the answering service. Finally someone anwered, and she told me that this sort of thing happens every year. I told her that I wanted to cancel the service and she said that she was going to pass that along to Pinellas Tree Service, which she did do. The salesman finally called me back (in a rude tone this time) and confirmed that the service was cancelled. I asked him for some sort of documentation on company letterhead showing that we had cancelled the contract. He said that he was going to send it out in one week but I never received it.

Excellent. They answered my phonecall with a positive response. A certified arborist arrived that afternoon to discuss my needs and gave me a proposal. They scheduled a date that was aggreeable with an approximate time. Later they called back to confirm the date and time. Upon arriving, the team leader reviewed the actions to be performed.After pruning, the area was picked-up of all debris and even swept the sidewalks. They were professional at all times and always polite. I would use them again without hesitation.

From the initial meeting with Arborist Jon Wilbur till the end of the job we were very impressed. Jon called a few times to let me know their schedule with rain delays. On the day of the job the workers showed up when Jon said they would. The man in charge walked through the things to be done and his workers also paid attention. Each worker had a job to do and they were finished in less than an hour. We were very pleased with how things looked and how they cleaned up.

It was a pleasure to deal with this service provider, from beginning to end. Several months ago they did quite a large job for the neighbor whose property is immediately to the south of mine. It included the removal of several large trees, one of which was a massive ficus within several feet of the boundary between our properties. I watched them work for much of the day they were here. I was sufficiently impressed that I didn?t call anyone else when I decided that the 11 cabbage palms in my back yard, which hadn?t been booted since they were installed in 1996, needed trimming and booting. So I?m not able to report on how good their price was, not having sought other estimates, but I have the feeling that the price was quite reasonable. For the service I received I feel that I got a bargain. After providing me with an estimate and getting my approval, their representative?s first order of business was writing a letter to the neighbor whose property is in back of mine telling him of the planned work. The concern was that my neighbor?s pool was in close proximity to where the work was going to be done, and booting cabbage palms produces a lot of dust and dirt, some of which might find its way into his pool. The neighbor was pleased to have been informed, and it was gratifying on the day the work was done to look out my window while eating dinner to see the last of the remaining workmen cleaning my neighbor?s pool area. Friendly people, modern equipment that looks like it could handle anything, professional completion of the work and attention to the details. I don?t think you?ll be disappointed if you choose them.

Tree removal and stump grinding went very well. Cleanup was excellent. Between the time I got the original quote and the original tree removals I had a rather large (larger than I could do myself) pine tree branch break off (different tree than the removals), and Pinellas tree cut that off from the main trunk and cut it up and hauled it away..AT NO EXTRA COST! Would definitely recommend Pinellas tree service!

Their pricing was pretty good. They were about in the middle. I've gotten estimates from other companies and they were about a middle. When they left, the yard was clean and they were conscious of the existing landscaping that they had to work around. They make sure that nothing got damaged and everything. When they left that day, the yard was cleaned up and it was like they hadn't been here.

For each tree, the estimate was brief & hand-written. It was difficult to read the total $ on the carbon copy. The estimate was 50% higher than the next estimate I received (which was more professionally done & was the service I used). No information was provided about the company, insurance coverage, etc. I didn't even receive a business card.

Jon & his arborist were responsive & very professioal. Jon walked me through the quote, which I appreciate. While I wasn't home during the job, coming home to a clean yard was very nice. Highly recommend this company as they are quick to respond before, during & after.
