Would NOT recommend to anyone. Once this company was bought out they lost every ounce of customer service that they had. I was charged an additional almost $5,000 which I made them aware of immediately we are not at almost 10 days later and I have yet to receive any sort of credit back. I have called numerous times trying to speak with someone other than there generic message taking service and have not gotten a call back. The "repairs" the installers did on my attic access are extremely sub par and with gaps and uneven crooked molding. When I asked him if I just needed to call to get an appointment set up with their handy man to put it back to normal he looked at me like I was crazy for not thinking that his work was exquisite. When I used them before as PCS the installers and techs were great and walked me through the new thermostat, getting it all set up with the wifi - these guys were already packed up and leaving when I asked if there were any instructions he came back in and literally just opened the instruction book and said here this page, I don't know I've never set one of these kind up. Over-all it has been TERRIBLE dealing with this company. I have sat on hold so much in the last 2 weeks just trying to speak with someone who actually works for this company. GO ANYWHERE ELSE - Do NOT do business with them.

The service they provide are just wonderful, whether it's a yearly maintenance or putting in a new homing system. They are just great all around and provide such excellent service. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Great. Prompt response, knowledgeable sales person, and a low price. After getting multiple quotes, I hired another company with a very slightly higher price (longer warranty, higher efficiency). But I am convinced that I would have been happy with Pinellas Comfort Systems.

Initially they provided clear options for systems quotes. The estimates provided clear details of the equipment being installed with a range of prices. All questions were answered promptly by email. I considered the settled upon price to be fair and of value. The crew who installed the units were knowledgeable and worked professionally. If they couldn't answer questions they would ring the office and get answers. The crew took care after the job was completed to clean up the job site completely. They responded quickly when I requested to have the system checked post-installation by a technician who came out promptly and isolated a small issue. I would use them again in the future.

I have the best heating and a/c people. We have used them for 30 years or more, and they are the best. They have serviced that house for 28 years there. I'm on a contract with them, where they just come every 6 months to make sure I don't have a problem. Off the top of my head I don't remember what they charge. There is 3 different zones, there are 3 different air conditioners. It is a very big house. They were very reasonable and honest.

The system worked perfectly for 12 years. They were just a special that I found through with Home Depot.

They are great, he is very professional.

I use them all the time. They're pricing is good, they're work is good I just have no issues with them they're perfect.

I chose to go with Pinellas Comfort Crew rather than Weathermakers because they were $1,900 cheaper for the same Trane system. (However, both sales people were very professional with their presentations and estimates.) The installation went smoothly, they cleaned up after themselves nicely, and I did not have to postpone my vacation!

The serviceman was very professional and through. I needed my new thermostat rewired and the settings completed. I also wanted him to check the capacitor, contactor and Freon. He did everything and was very polite. My only concern was that I was quoted $89.00 service call. What was not explained is that the cost is $38.00 every 15 minutes after the first half hour. My bill came to $244.00. Very good service but pricey.

Every encounter I had with Pinellas Comfort Systems was professional and polite. The staff are all top-notch. I found the technicians and sales people to all be very knowledgeable. We were dealing with a very stinky smell coming out of our 30+ year old ductwork. After several attempts to seal the ducts and clean the system, the smell lingered. We decided to replace the ductwork in hopes that the smell would disappear. I interviewed 3-4 companies to get quotes and recommendations. Pinellas Comfort had one of the lowest prices and was by far the best at explaining what I would need and how to to improve our heating and cooling system. Greg, who designed the new system, was a pleasure to work with and very helpful every step of the way. The technicians that came out were really nice guys, very clean in their work and polite. They were here 4 full days and it was not a bother at all. The stinky smell is gone! There is a bit of an odor, not stinky, kind of like plastic, now which I wonder if it's from all the new materials. I would hire again and plan to use them from here on out for all HVAC needs.

Pinellas Comfort Systems performed service on both of my units in March 2015. No issues. They were professional. We had them come back again to adjust our ducts and replace a blown capacitor in one unit. Unfortunately, our upstairs air handler was not properly flushed and it developed a clog. Another professional stated there was no way that clog would have happened if the unit was properly flushed in March. The end result is that Pinellas Comfort Systems will not stand behind their work and I am left with a 1500 repair bill for water damage. This company does not stand behind the work they perform. Beware and recommend you look elsewhere.

We wanted a ductless system in our office. The price was reasonable and the savings on our electric bill have been substantial. In time, the system will pay for itself many times over. Everyone we dealt with, from the sales team to the installers, was very friendly and professional. Their follow up was extraordinary. They inspected everything twice and made sure nothing was overlooked. I was so pleased I hired them to install new air conditioning at our rental home the next month. Once again, they exceeded my expectations. As a business owner (Rock's Moving Company), I can recognize a well run company, and without a doubt that is what they have.

Alan was courteous, timely and efficient. He found the problem right away (a leak) and added coolant to help the situation quickly.

I just wanted to share my experience Pinellas Comfort Systems entire team. About 10 months ago I was having serious issues with my Carrier Heat Pump that was 13 years old at the time. I was debating on either replacing the entire system or just the 4 dampers in the attic. I was honest about my decision process when Greg came to the home to analyze my current system, then proceed to tell me my options. His engineering expertise was apparent as he explained some simple changes he could have the installers do to make a new system even more efficient and effective for my home. He was extremely professional, but when he left I decided to just go with replacing the dampers and called a Honeywell company to come put those in. My system worked great for a blink of an eye! The dampers were necessary and worked great, but I should have listed to Greg and did them and the new system, but hindsight is?? Long story short, after several band aids by my home warranty company on the unit itself for 10 months my system went kaput! It was now 90 degrees out and I started calling a few of the companies I had had out the previous year. Greg remembered me, my home and his diagnosis. That was impressive, but what impressed me more than anything was when he said that he was sending someone out that day to at least get my home cooled off for my family and dogs whether I chose to go with him or not. That day they did a quick band-aid. I was so impressed I called Greg back to get a system. Even though PCS specializes in Trane systems, he explained my best option with my damper system and spacing was a High Efficiency 4 ton Carrier unit. He did not try to push something more than I needed, worked with me to find a perfect system for my home and that was quiet and very efficient. 3 days later the 2 most professional installers (Steve and Tim) I have ever met came out, spent an entire hot day installing a system that was amazing. Even at no extra charge to me, they corrected some errors made by the builder 14 years earlier when my house was first built to make the system better than ever. These 2 were true perfectionists and I was blown away by the quality and workmanship they put into every detail. They never rushed, explained to me each step they were doing and why, and really made me feel great about my investment. Thanks you Greg, Steve, and Tim for being the definition of professionals. Installing a new system in your home is a heavy investment, but when they were done I felt I truly got every penny?s worth. Truly appreciated. J. Reser Dunedin, FL

Some of the details in the agreement were missed by the installers, but all was rectified to our satisfaction.

Very good transaction from start to finish. Salesman, Omar, was excellent and followed up with us. One small problem - wrng heating element was installed. This was confirmed wuickly and remedied immediately. A year later, they contact us for our FREE 1-year inspection. We did not have to call them. Very good company.

I contacted the provider for an estimate on replacing my A/C system as two previous companies had assured me it was beyond repair and needed replaced (it is a 2006 system). Omar looked through the system and in a few minutes told me the problem was the capacitor and he had the system running quickly. He continued to evaluate the system and ultimately told me it was fine. He said it was not a particularly efficient system but it did not need replaced and he expected it to continue working for 3-4 years. Ultimately, I decided to replace the system for the efficiency reason, but it was not because Omar pushed me to do so. I asked him for some facts and he told me what I needed to know. I had also been told the copper tubing needed replaced. No, this was not the case either. I was without air conditioning all weekend and told my unit was beyond repair by two other service providers, which was simply not true. Either they were incompetent or dishonest. Omar was outstanding and his honesty was much appreciated. The new system is to be installed in the near future and I have no doubt I will be satisfied.

Salesman (Omar) was great and patient (we took several weeks to talk to many companies). He worked with us so we could get a high-quality system within our budget. He included a few little extras that we probably would have needed to pay for with others. Had a mis-fire on the installation date because of rain. I can understand that but why would PCC call at 5:00 PM the day before to say they were coming tomorrow when the forecast was for rain all day. At least warn us that they may cancel. But to accommodate they came out on Saturday so I did not have to take another day off work. When the guys came out on Saturday they spent the day doing everything right. No rushing. Another small mis-fire getting the inspector out. That also took 2 tries. PCC took care of submitting the electric company rebate and our Trane warranty. They also provided detailed doc for submitting on our 2013 taxes.

Great company and great service. AC unit was not working. Called and scheduled service for next day. They arrived on time, performed the service to repair the unit and then preformed a check of the system, replaced the filters and guarateed the work. Would highly recommend this company.

Sales experience - Omar was a super salesman. Explained everything very well. Showed me his sizing calculations because I wanted to go ‘bigger’. At issue was whether we changed the windows to Low-E, which we were planning to do but was not sure. After looking at the figures, we went with his recommendation which was right on once we got the windows installed. (See my other recommendation on windows). Omar printed out several optional quotes with different sizes and SEER ratings right there. Omar was also very hands on, and did some of the work himself (like putting duct dampers in the attic to adjust the air flow to various rooms). He probably went into the attic half a dozen times in the heat of the summer. He is a better man than me. Omar also quoted and helped us decide on other options - protection for the outside unit, converting a patio into an air conditioned room, etc. Installation – good. They had some issues, the major one being bad air handler coils from the MFG. They replaced the entire air handler. The owner told me he would come out and talk to me about the bad handler. I told him that was unnecessary. Service manager did come out a couple of times. There was one wiring mistake which the tech owned up to, apologized, and fixed immediately. I was impressed with the concern and honesty from everyone I dealt with. The only thing I did not like was the electrician moving the outside cut-off without discussing the placement first. Not a big deal, though. Service – Had to come out several times to make adjustments, particularly with regard to airflow through the old ductwork. They brought a duct flow measuring device which I had never seen before. (I have had a lot of issues with air flow at my previous house which included a zoned system. None of the several contractors at the old house had used such a device.) In summary, they were a very good company to deal with. They showed a lot of customer service and professionalism. We are very happy with the result.
