Excellent work on the driveway. Th e quality is exceptional. Lack of attention to the patio side project caused the job to not be done to what was ordered. However, Warren did work with me to try and make it right. Any problem can be avoided if you insist that Warren overseeing it personally. The start date was put off for other jobs so the start dragged out and then ran into the rainy season. But once started, his staff was excellent as long as they got face-to-face direction. Again, the major project was done to the highest standards.

I used Warren Perkins company to take down a knee wall and some other concrete removal and stucco work. Warren was very timely and professional. He followed up the next day and runs a very professional quality company. I would definately use Warren again for any future concrete work. His price was half of what another company quoted me and he did more work.

I left a message for Mr. Perkins stating that I needed an estimate. The very next day Mr. Perkins called me back and apologized for taking so long to get back with me. I wish every business that you were waiting on a return call from thought 1 day was a long time. He gave me an estimate and I accepted. Mr Perkins said the work would be done on Wednesday morning. Two gentlemen show up right on schedule and proceed to start the job. In no time at all I had my driveway extended. The job looks great and I don't think anyone could have done a better job. We live in an historic district in Tampa, Florida and our home was built in 1928. We have lived here for about six years and we love our home. Unfortunately, our home never had an existing drive way. We also had a curb that was very old and was literally crumbling in most areas. We had to park on the street always, and we had already experienced damage to our vehicles, including neighbors accidentally backing into our cars to minor vandalism. In any case, we really wanted to install a drive way and have our curb repaired for aesthetic reasons. We checked Angie's List, and we read many reviews. We decided to reach out to Warren Perkins, from Perkins Concrete Inc., because he had many positive reviews and has been in business for a long time. Mr. Perkins came to our home and provided us with an estimate for the work. He was always very polite and gave us great recommendations. We were very pleased that he was on top of attaining all the required permits that the city required, especially those required by the Architectural Review division who oversees our historic neighborhood. He and his crew are very respectful and polite, and did a fantastic job with our drive way and the repair of our curbing. They were punctual and very professional. Both my husband and myself are very impressed with Warren and his crew, because they did everything that was outlined in the contract in a professional manner. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done, because they are a great company, and we are very pleased with the results. Warren has been wonderful to work with and we will definitely call him again if we need any concrete related work to be completed. A+ experience!

I first felt with a estimator then after the proposal was accepted the owner met with me o go over the job and set the the start date. Al work was performed one time.

I originally posted a bad review on this contractor confusing him with another company.. I have not had any problem with this contractor and apologize for the mistake.. I will be getting together with him for an estimate on work I need done .

We missed each other on the first call, but spoke the second day after I initiaed contact and set and appointment for a visit and estimate. Warren came out on a Friday and inspected and measured the area, then e-mailed me the estimate early the next week, and had his team out the following Friday to perform the work. They were fast and efficient.The price was a little high, but it was a small job and most contractors weren't even interested.

Over all it went very well. Keep in mind that concrete is very dirty work, so if you have anything around that you do not want dusty or dirty you should remove it yourself or be prepaired to scrap concrete off of it.

I needed to pour a slab for my spa to sit on and called Perkins for an estimate. Warren was extremely professional and quick to answer any questions. His quote was the best one I received and within a week he was able to start the job. His employees were friendly and completed everything on time. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I got three estimates. Warren Perkins's was not the cheapest, but it was very competitive, and based on his reviews and company history in business, I selected his. Warren was prompt in getting started, obtaining the permit, and getting the job started. I had a couple concerns after the forms had been set. I had asked his crew to push some extra gravel to the end of the drive, then realized I did not want it after all. When I told Warren, he removed it later. Also, his crew had advised that I have a tree root removed, but after Warren looked at it, he determined it was not necessary, saving me some money. After the concrete was poured, there was one flaw and another area where the concrete had not beed scraped off an adjacent area. Warren noticed the problems before I did and corrected them. I was very pleased with the job.

Never did any work because they never responded to by request for a quote.

This is the second time I have used Warren and he never disappoints. If you are looking for someone who is honest, takes the time to educate his customers, and does great work at a fair price, you found him. Warren is great at follow up, and keeping his customers informed along the way. We ended up having to use a little more concrete than originally estimated and Warren called me first thing in the morning to let me know before he ordered the additional quantity. Warren clearly is a master at his craft and it is so rare to find someone that not only does a great job but is a pleasure to deal with.

They do excellent work, and I would recommend them. When the workers were here, they were working at all times.

They were punctual, professional and completed the job in a timely manner. We did have one slight issue with refinishing the existing slab but Warren stood by his word and went above and beyond to make it right. Overall a wonderful experience.

I sought four bids, his came in the lowest of all. A very good job. kept us informed on the timing at every step of the process.

we obtained 4 estimates. While Warren Perkins was tied for the lowest, it was his professionalism that convinced us that he was who we wanted. He was well prepared w/ proof of insurance, samples, and no hard sell. Upon agreement he drafted a contract and was amenable to every change or addition I wanted to make. His start date was exactly as he stated. My wife broke her ankle 2 days before the start date and had to have emergency surgery. I called Warren 10 pm the night before he was to start (my earliest opportunity) and ask if he could delay because we needed an intact driveway to get my wife home (she was wheel chair accessable only). Warren was completely understanding and was very encouraging to me at that time. we agreed to start the job a week later. His crew of 4 were professional and all hard workers. They completed the job in one long day and returned the next day to seal the brick paved driveway and cleaned up all debris, leaving things picture perfect. I highly recommend Perkins Concrete. When paying a substantial sum of money it was great having an honest and sincere person to deal with.

Warren Perkins and his crew (John and Fred) were very punctual and professional! Warren provided a reasonable quote within a short timeframe and kindly maintained a consistent price despite design changes made after the initiation of the job. He was even willing to start the job the day after the New Year's holiday. John was very handy and fixed an exterior water pipe that broke during the job; and Fred was very precise with the frame created for the job. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others!

Mr Perkins, the owner himself, came promptly after my call and gave some good suggestions of how I should have my driveway done, then gave a quote which was not cheap but very reasonable. He pulled the permit and prepared the ground right way. The concrete pouring was delayed for some times due to heavy rain, but he sent workers to drain the area to speed up the process. The finished product was nice and he also spread out the dirt in my backyard as he agreed to earlier. Overall, it was a good experience. I have no complaint and would recommend his service wholeheartedly.

We were really impressed by him. He was very professional, very methodical, no pressure and low-key. We really liked him. He was unfortunately another $1500 above the other guy. They were even better. The other guys were sales agents and were pushing a little bit. Mr. Perkins came himself for giving the quote.

It was great now myklids have a flat, great looking area to play and no more dirt tracking in my house
