I had Mike come out last week to provide a quote for a complete garage door and hardware replacement. He gave me a verbal estimate and promised to send something via email by Friday. When Friday came and went with no email, I reached out on Saturday but received no response. On Monday, I called the office and was finally transferred to him. His reply was disheartening; he said that since I mentioned I was getting multiple quotes, I wasn't his priority and effectively told me to go with other companies before hanging up. I called back and spoke to the manager, who said he would address this with Mike, but I still haven’t heard anything back. I’m extremely disappointed, especially with the recent storm damage in my area—I doubt they’ll care. I would recommend steering clear of this business. Genie of Clearwater and Precision Garage Door are far more professional, even if they are pricier; it might save you from a lot of frustration.

It couldn't have gone worse, please stay away from this company. They just want your money and wont return your calls, Judy the manager is so rude. Diagnostic fee doesnt really mean you get a diagnostic, you get a rude tech, rude manager and they dont help.

Their price was in line with other companies in the area. We went with Overhead because our past experiences with this company. The installer was personable, professional and cleaned up after himself. Will always use them.

I didn't have to wait long from when I called to when the serviceman arrived. He had everything that was needed on the truck, worked quickly, explained a few things, and I've had no trouble with the door since.

They did a fine job. They were professional, came in saw the problem and had everything with them to fix it so it was a shop deal. They did a good job. When we have a problem we generally call them and they come. They came immediately. We use them all the time.

They were very good and they were able to work with the renters and everybody was happy. They were very competent. Both renters work and the kids are out of school for the summer so they have a babysitter and they were able to access the garage door without scaring everybody and it works and looks good. They did a good job. I think the price was fine, they had to do a lot of work.

Great! They were able to come out the next day and evaluate the problem. They accurately (and honestly) found the problem to just be a spring. Another company told me I needed to replace my entire garage door & hardware for a cost of over $800.

The issue was resolved on the second service call. I didn't like paying for two service call, but the two charges were more than a 50% discount to the quotes I received elsewhere.

This provider has excellent customer service and I would highly recommend. Kevin was on time, completed the work, cleaned up, and the price was fair. Amazing company!

Tech promptly diagnosed the problem and provided a great repair option with an excellent price. Removed old motor and track, replaced with all new hardware and gave the door a servicing. The new equipment and parts work excellent. The new motor is so quiet, and the tech left the work area clean, and explained everything well before he left.

Salesman Richard was very professional and informative. The installer was courteous and did a great job. I am pleased with the product and the service.

It went flawlessly. Absolutely better than we could have imagined. We are so thrilled with the quality of work.

Salesman Richard came to my house tn May 11 to inspect my 2 garage doors. Doors are standard Clopay. I asked for a price to replace the glass windows with solid panels , impact glass or to replace the doors with new insulated doors. He called me a few days later and said he was working on it. I have since called salesman and left messages on his cell phone 727-224-0025 and have not even received a call back. It has been almost 6 weeks since the meeting at my house. Update I received two calls from the company the day i posted my review. They came out the next day and emailed the quote to me in 24 hours. The person who met with me was very professional and knowledgeable.

This is the worst product I have purchased... by far. Most of the hinges on the panels are crooked. The attachments from the garage door rails to the ceiling were twisted to fit a what appears to be a longer rail. The rolling-bar was not completely attached to the front wall resulting in the door failing inspection. When that technician came to perform the repairs, he complained the entire time, and never bothered to acknowledge that he had cost me time away from my job to give him access to his sloppy work. I didn't even look at these things until after it failed. This week, the ceiling support came apart and dropped the door onto wall shelves, which in turn ripped out of the wall. Luckily, my second car was parked on the opposite side of the garage and was missed by the tumbling paint cans, camping stove, and lawn tools that tumbled through the air. After lowering the door, I tried to lock it so that no one would open it against the broken rail, but found that the lock was misaligned and useless. When I called to request a repair, I was told that the narrowest time slot available was from 1-5 pm. I would think that they would be more accommodating given that their product failed miserably. The technician arrived at 5:45 pm, so I lost half a day's pay for nothing. I understand that nothing is perfect, but in this case, the company, and most of their employees simply don't care.

Everything went really well. He came out right away and fixed my garage door.

They switched out a garage door keypad that was working properly and took it with them. I wanted to have my garage remotes checked which they said were fine. The work I needed done was not done, and work I didn’t need done was done. I have been following up with them and haven’t gotten any direct answers. They were rude.

This was my first purchase since joining Angie's List. All went very smoothly. Bought and paid for on Thursday and the tech was out Friday morning. I was told between 8AM-12PM, I get a call 20 mins before he shows up at 9:30. This guy knew what he was doing 100%! My door was really out of adjustment, it was so bad it would get stuck sometimes and you had to "help" it up or down plus it screeched and banged while in use. Now it is silent. I will be calling Overhead Door of Clearwater from now on for any service/upgrade/replacement.

I had mistakenly tried to open the door while the latch was engaged causing it to open on an angle, the wire to come off track and the rollers to bend. They came out right away, fixed everything and did a great job. I intend on using them again.

Called several companies to quote a new opener for a 7 foot garage door. Decided to give this company a try even though i have used others. The tech arrived on time. Immediately felt he was belittling my intelligence with his words and manirism trying to explain what his job would entail. Making suttle remarks "i know its hard to understand etc" "most people wont remember this" . I am a professional working mother and wive. I was working from home that day as I was sick, he assumed I couldnt comprehend him even at a basic level. I didnt have the heart to tell him I work with engineers, an analyst by profession :-). Nevertheless, a terrible representation of his company if he treats every women client as he had treated me. I was sick, I didnt have the energy to get into a combative situation to set him straight so I preceded to listen, then he totaled me at nearly double what I had agreed to on the phone when making the appt. That is when I stepped up and said that is not what I agreed to on the phone and asked him to leave. He quickly refuted and "conveniently remembered" he had a unit he could install at my quoted price in his van. The job was done timely however I didnt appreciate his demenor or the fact he took all his competition stickers/tags off my garage door before leaving the job. Now I have to go thru invoice receipts to find who else I have used before in the event I need a tech. Cant help but think of him like a dog peeing on the territory trying to keep others at bay by this action. I believe this incident to be an isolated event as I have heard good things about the company. The tech however needs a good brush up manners and maybe a lesson or two in moral representation of his employer. Regrettably, I will not be using them again.

replaced 2 springs,6 rollers, and generally serviced garage door. Service Man,Bob, called prior to coming to my home. He evaluated the problem,explained it in terms I could understand. He was courteous and really skilled in his job. I was also able to use an Angie's list discount coupon for this project.

Repairman was prompt and on time. Took him about 10 minutes to reset the settings on the door BUT heavy sales pitch on selling me new roller wheels, (door and opener are less than 9 yrs old!) . When he was ready to leave, I asked if the handheld opener was set up also. It didn't work, he never tried to program it BUT did try to sell me a new one!!! The opener is less than 3 yrs old!!! Never tested or attempted to reset the outside keypad. Still neither work. Would NOT recommend this company. Update A few days after the above "repair" a cable broke on the door. Once again I called them and complained about lack of quality service. They sent a tech out the next day who found that the cable was rusted and he did acknowledge that the prior tech did NOT check the cables. Second tech also did perform the service check that the other tech should have done. Although this tech was far more competent I still would NOT recommend this company. Update #2 The initial repair request was March 10, 2014. June 1, 2014, my door is once again inoperative. AGAIN I STRONGLY SUGGEST do not use this company.

We went with a wood grain finish and could not be happier. It was an upgrade from their standard lines thus our price is an upper price level. Salesman and work crew were very prompt & professional.

The Service Tech., who came out was very Professional, and helpful in explaining what type of Garage Door we had, and why the Spring would probably break. He had a difficult job, due to available space to work, but he had no problem in fixing our door, and putting us back into action. He took the time to explain taught how a garage door operates, and how to maintain. He went above and beyond, what we have been use to, and was very courteous, and helpful. Thank you. We are very pleased, and will always call them in the future, should another problem arise.

He was scheduled to come between 12 & 5 pm, but he actually was about an hour early, which was great. He checked everything and told us specifically what was wrong, what was needed to repair the door and what it would cost. He took the time to explain it all very clearly. The spring on our garage door was broken and he was surprised that the garage door opener was able to pull up the door. He replaced the spring, bearings and rollers and did an excellent job. He removed rust that had accumulated over the years and explained that the garage door opener was in good shape. He was friendly and professional at the same time. When the job was finished, the cost was actually a few dollars cheaper, and we now have a garage door that opens and closes quietly and efficiently. We really appreciated the behavior and expertise of this young man.

Very professional, excellent work, and very thorough. Would definitely use this company again.
