The project took about 6 weeks from beginning to end. First, the service tech spilled some of the resurfacing material in my tub, it went down the drain, and clogged my plumbing. This liquid material is like epoxy, so it hardens pretty quickly. Miracle Method tried to dump paint thinner down my drain, which is illegal in the state of Florida since it is a fire hazard. When that didn’t work, they sent a plumber to my house. They cut a huge access hole in the wall behind my tub so they could see the pipes. The plumber then tried to snake the drain, but that didn’t work. When it was determined they couldn’t unclog the drain, they had to remove the pipes under my tub. My tub is on the second floor of my house, so they had to go down to the first floor and cut a hole in my ceiling, directly beneath the tub. The plumber replaced the pipes that were clogged with the epoxy. A carpenter then came to repair the hole in my ceiling. However, all he did was replace the drywall. I had to go buy Kilz, ceiling paint and ceiling knockout to repair the ceiling so it didn’t look like someone just cut a hole in it. After all is said and done, Miracle Method still charged me the full price for the tub resurfacing. I’m now left with a hole in the wall behind my tub and about $100 in receipts for painting supplies. I already have contacted a lawyer but wanted to share this terrible experience with anyone who’s thinking of using this company.
Description of Work: I needed to have my bathtub resurfaced.

We were renovating our rental property and the property did not have working A/C. The person that sold us the MM product convinced us that it was fine to do the work without A/C in the summer and they did this on homes under construction frequently. After the contractor did the work on 7/29/16 he told my husband that he should have not done it without A/C and that he was having a hard time even keeping his sweat from messing up the finish. Following the application, we noticed that there were quite a few areas that the grout was not completely covered and some imperfections on the tub, so we called them back out right away. They suggested that we wait to have it fixed when all construction was complete, so as to avoid the dust. It took us until December to complete the renovations and my husband contacted our MM contact on 12/27 to set up an appointment for the work via text, but the guy no longer worked for the company. He then called was told that there was a waiting list for work to be completed and that they could not even tell us a time frame, but would call us. We never received a call and emailed Angelica on 1/10 about getting on the work schedule. We never received a response. My husband left a voicemail on 1/12, but never received a response. I finally spoke to someone on 1/13 and was scheduled for an appointment on 1/27. I called to confirm the appointment on 1/26 and found out that they were not going to do any work the next day, but inspect it again. I explained that it had already been inspected. She said she would talk to owner and get back to me, but again never did. I drove over an hour the next day to be at the property for the 9-11am window, but received notice shortly before 11 that they wouldn't be there until 12-12:30. They did not get there until about 12:30pm. The people inspecting agreed that it appeared to need a second coat. I was told that they would send pictures to the owner that day and someone would call me the next day to schedule the work and that they were booking working about 2 weeks out. I never received a call. I called on 1/30, 1/31, 2/1, 2/2, and 2/3 and was told several times that they were working on a commercial job and they would talk to owner and get back to me each time I called. No one ever got back to me! Long story short, this company will take your money and never follow through with making sure the job was done right. They put zero value on customer service and once they have your money you will get the run around, warranty or not. There are other companies that will refinish for half the price and I am willing to bet have far superior service. I will add photos as soon as possible.

We are SO happy with how the shower turned out! We made the mistake of having this shower and another tub/shower "re-glazed" by another provider we found on Angie's List a few years ago. Literally a few years. If I knew Miracle Method was an option, I would have had them do the shower in the first place! The other method just did not last very long at all. Within a few months, the floor of the shower was already chipping away and because we could only do white, the floor had to be cleaned constantly and eventually it was so scratched that it just would not get clean. Was a total waste of money. BUT, we decided to try this and so far we LOVE it! The natural stone look is the way to go for sure. It looks fantastic! We had a lighter neutral finish on the walls and step, but a dark "mocha" on the floor and one tile up from the floor. AWESOME! The finish seems really durable (so far) and it doesn't feel like "paint" which the re-glazing that was done earlier really was and performed like it (very poorly). The other bathroom will be done next, but the shower is rarely used (mainly for guests), so because it's not used, it's still in good condition. BUT, I can tell you that it would probably need to be redone too if it was used much because of the paint job "re-glazing". The price of the natural finish is certainly not cheap, but in the long run, I'm sorry I didn't do this in the first place, since the re-glazing paint job cost over $600. And it barely lasted a year. Waste of money. The nice thing about the natural finish too is that because it's speckled, it won't show much wear and tear over the years or imperfections. I'd love to post before and after pictures, but the site doesn't seem to let me do that...booooo. I had gone up to the showroom and saw all the samples. They came within a few days and gave me a quote, plus a $100 discount for being in a high-utilization neighborhood. I guess many people in my neighborhood have this done, which I was unaware of. I was scheduled to have it done within a week or so. The main person doing the work was Nate. He was terrific! The process took about 3 days, since they do one process (cleaning, sealing, primer), then the actual coating the next day, then a final process of several coats of a sealer (or something like that) and a last clear coat. After they took off the tape and left, I did notice a small area that was probably 2 inches long by maybe 1/8 inch wide on a part of the step. It was probably from a taped off spot that didn't get the finish. I called them and after a few days Nate came back and fixed it up nicely. Took him barely 10 minutes and you would never know it was even there in the first place. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this process, especially if you have a high use shower and want something durable. Time will tell, but so far I'm rather confident it will last A LOT longer than the last job. Keep in mind, though, that there is a paint smell that will be in your house during the process and for maybe a day or two after it's done. That may bother some people, but that's probably the only thing I could see that would be an issue with the process. Thanks Nate and Miracle Method for such a great job!

Miracle Method was recommended to us by a neighbor who had their shower refinished by them. We received an in home estimate from Angel, the Miracle Method representative and scheduled work to be completed over two to three consecutive days. Miracle Method sent Samantha to do the work on the days that were scheduled. Samantha did an outstanding job. She was punctual, diligent, thorough and hard working. We were very pleased with her strong work ethic and her desire to do her work with excellence, from start to finish. Our shower now is a thing of beauty! Thanks Samantha and Miracle Method!

5/14: This was a bathtub refinishing project. The contractor charges twice as much as everyone else but claims to use a superior method to bring the tub to a “like-new" finish. My tub now has a matte finish, is not glossy and is all pitted. This tub is from a 1924 Mediterranean home. It was stained but glossy and not pitted what so ever. It is worse-off than before and a shame to have to replace it due to an inept contractor. They are demanding additional money to do a good job. The job was sold by Tammy who misrepresented their product and project. She never had anyone look at my tub and never once mentioned that it could cost more money for the ‘what if’s'. She did ask if the tub had been refinished before and I thought not. It was confirmed by the worker that it never had been. Thus, there should have been no issues. The expensive finish is totally botched. I have called three times without a call back from Jay the owner. Tammy the wife is the one who misrepresented the job and has been ditching my calls also. I finally caught up with her today. In a nasty voice she told me if I wanted it redone I would be paying for it. I’m thinking Samantha, the worker, saturated it with too much acid and hurt the finish.

When this bathtub was cleaned to remove all the soap scum and calcium deposits the pitting showed up on this bathtub. The customer was informed that we make a bathtub look as close to new as possible and that the tub was "based upon inspection" she noted if it was going to cost additional she didn't want to do. The tech brought to her attention the pitting after cleaning and she did not want to put additional monies into the bathtub to give it an even "like new" coat. She was unhappy and while we wanted to appease this customer, we were unable to. We did however give her a discount, in which she agreed and paid the invoice. She has since been refunded all monies. Our cleaning products do not contain acid and we do not acid etch so it is impossible that we caused the pitting by cleaning.

Unfortunately the next day when the afternoon sun came through the bathroom window I did see what look like some small, very small scratches. I callled Mircle Method and my technian was there the next day to resand and rebuff the tub and it solved the problem completely. Yea for a job well done within our budget. Jose was our tech and I can't say enough about him, super nice young man!
Description of Work: This company has worked with us since last year, kept in touch and were very professional. We first got an estimate and were confident in the manner that the salesman said the job would be performed. On March 11th I phones and said that we were finally ready to do the job. Fortunately there was a technician who was finishing up one job and able to come out the next day to start. I have never had a workman in my house as nice as the young man who came out. Professional, friendly and able to get the first step done. On the following day he returned to polish and remove tape from drain.

I called for an estimate on refinishing a bathtub which had a large deck surrounding it. When I asked for the estimate, they told me that it was $397 for the tub, and that the deck would be extra. I asked if they could come out and give me an estimate on the exact cost, and they told me they'd rather I send them pictures and they would do it over email. I was going to email pictures but after thinking about it was uncomfortable not having them look at the job, so I called them back and asked if they could come out in person and look at it, so I knew for sure how much it would be. They said yes, scheduled the time 2 weeks in advance, and suggested that they could do the work at the same time as they were out there if I wanted. When the appointment arrived, the person came out and said he couldn't esimate...that they don't let him do that, he was just there to do the work. I told him that I didn't want him to do anything that I didn't know the price of...so if it was going to be ridiculous I'd look at other options for this job (tile, etc)...so I really wanted to know the price. He said that they charge by the square foot, so that amount extra would be about $100 or so, and he'd get me the exact cost the next day before he finished the main part of the work (his suggestion). Based on this I agreed to let him start the work, and would let him get going on the deck when he told me exactly what the price was. When he came back the next day, he said that he was wrong, that they wouldn't charge by the square foot in my case, that they'd have to treat the rest of my tub area as a second job, and must charge me a minimum job cost of another $397, no exceptions, because I didn't commit to it when they first started the work. If I had committed on the first day they could have charged me by the square foot. I was very upset about this, as they were making me jump through hoops to find the cost, they suggested I find out the next day, then they wanted to charge me quadruple what he said it woudl be and blamed it on me for not committing to the work up front. I spoke to the owner to try to work this out and he was extremely rude and disrespectful to me, suggesting that, "I needed to take responsibility for my actions" because I should never have work done without knowing the price, and it wasn't his fault that now the work would cost more. I was floored by his tone and response, given that this is EXACTLY what I was trying to do...trying multiple times to get them to give me a firm price before starting the work. He said that I only asked for an estimate at the end of the first day (not true, I had asked 2x prior to also reminding them at the end of the second day that I really needed the price). He wasn't even willing to entertain hearing about my attempts to get pricing from them, or hear anything that might help him understand the situation or prevent it from happening again to another customer. In short, I do not have a problem with their prices per se, I have a problem with them bumbling my estimate and then stringing me along instead of giving me the price, knowing that it would double or triple the cost by doing it this way. I now have a half finished job that I can't complete unless I agree to "repay" them the full cost of a second job. Based on the behaviors they demonstarted, this is a company that at a minimum is not customer centric in their actions and behavior, and appears to be just out to make a buck, whatever it takes. I would be very concerned about them in any warranty situation or any area where you need them to step up and do the right thing.

The process took 2 days. They prepped and sprayed the finish on the first day. The second day they came back to remove tape and buff. The bathtubs and shower stall are absolutely beautiful. My renters are happy and so am I.
Description of Work: I have a couple rental units in Sun City Center, Fl. The bath tubs and shower were in terrible shape. I checked out prices to replace the tubs and shower stall and to put new tile on the walls that surround them. It was way too expensive. I dropped the idea until I heard about Miracle Method. I contacted them. Bernie came out to my units, explained the process and gave me an estimate. They were able to schedule me within a week.

The workers showed up on time and date as promised. They spent half a day on the repair and prep before spraying the new glaze. They cleaned up when they were done. They came back the next morning , finished the work and cleaned up again. Care and cleaning instructions were reviewed after they finished. They walls and tub are flawless in the finish.

Miracle Method worked with us extremely well with our schedule even though we had to change the date because of other contractor issues. They showed up on time and were very careful in their preparation of taping and covering up our new cabinets, floor and appliances. They also sealed up area to keep all spray and dust isolated to kitchen area. The job came out fantastic and we were really happy with the price we paid. They did a good job cleaning up and making the inconvenience of not having a kitchen to work in as painless as possible. The job started on Monday and by Wednesday they were done. We had another local company do similar work in our bathroom a month earlier and Miracle Method was definitely the better of the two, even in price. Nice job guys.
