Landscape By Design

It went very well. Mark and his team did an excellent job designing and bringing our yard to where we wanted it. It looks beautiful thanks to the whole team. They work very hard and make sure you are totally happy with the result. We were clueless as to what plants to use not being from Florida but Mark helped us with many suggestions. I would use him again in a heartbeat.Btw I have a huge yard and we thought the cost was very fair.

Price was right. Contractor started and finished on time. Beautiful installation. What more could I ask for?

They came out and we talked about the design and what we wanted. Mark gave us some suggestions and we agreed on a price and date. They came out on the scheduled day they were punctual. We were told 2 days to complete and they finished up on the 2nd day. They did above and beyond. I would definitely refer them to anyone needing a landscaping job.

Overall well, some irrigation damage accidentally occurred but we were promptly reimbursed after they were repaired.

I felt Mark’s quote was more than fair. Once the project was scheduled, he arrived promptly. His crew was competent, courteous, and efficient, and as a result, my patio looks great! I am planning a second, larger project in the near future, and look forward to receiving the same excellent service from Landscape by Design.

Mark and his crew showed up for the job, but shortly after one of his workers had to call it early because of a previous injury. Even with that, Mark had my property line cleared out, as discussed, and on schedule, fixing problems a previous contractor left me with. Also, he went out of his way to repair my neighbors sprinkler system which had been in too close of proximity to the work zone. I'll definitely consider this company for future landscape work.

We were very pleased by the landscaping job that Mark Higgins and his crew completed for us in August, 2017. We had just completed a pool construction project on the intracoastal and needed sod, trees and decorative plants to complete the yard. Mark has a great knowledge regarding which plants/ landscape will thrive in a saltwater environment. This was very helpful when making our plant material selections. Our project consisted of full sod, palm tree planting, border around pool including a variety of plants. Mark was organized, showed up with a full crew and finished a large project in five days.

I hired Mark with Landscape by Design for yard clean up and tree removal in preparation for sale after several years of rental. The yard was a mess. Being that I live out of state, it was difficult for me to find someone trustworthy and reputable to work on my yard without me being present. I found Landscape by Design on Angie's List and Mark has been great to work with. He sent before & after photos, was punctual, and was flexible with payment and reasonable with pricing. He did an excellent job cleaning up my neglected yard and because of his work adding curb appeal, I believe my house will sell quickly. I would recommend Landscape by Design.

Came on a Sunday & arrived on time. Gave some suggestions as to what I could do to save money (i.e., reuse existing paver/step stones, fix concrete slab off garage door). However, once he saw the tree roots in the yard and all the oak trees, he said it would be a lproject he was not equipped to handle. However, recommended another company on Angie's List which I have not contacted yet.

Mark visited the site same-day and worked around my schedule to accommodate my needs. Work was performed quickly and the whole process was smooth and respectful. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Mark gave me the best estimate for the work. He and his professional crew did a fantastic job. They spent long hours cleaning up these areas, including trimming back palms and other bushes, and installing the decorative stones. Everything looked better than I remember it when we first moved in many years ago. I'll be using Landscape by Design periodically in the future to keep our property looking good.

Mark promptly returned my initial call and made an appointment to come and estimate the work. After arriving on time, he and I walked the property and discussed ideas on how to improve. I liked his ideas and his quote, although it was higher than one I had previously received. He went further with his ideas and I could see the extra money would be worth it. We made arrangements and set a date. His crew was professional and worked in as neat a fashion as one can when dealing with dirt. At the end of each day they blew the debris off the sidewalks and driveway, a fact much appreciated by us. Mark went beyond what we expected. He is honest and professional.

Our long term landscaper moved, so our yard needed quite a bit of work to get it back to it's usual condition. Mark was very cooperative and did everything we asked. His work was excellent.

Mark is a very honorable business person. He gives you a price and tells you what he is going to do, and he does it. He made really good recommendations for some palms for my yard. I enjoyed working with him.

Landscape By Design completed our landscaping project last week. I described our front yard to Mark as a "jungle". All of our plants were so overgrown that it was difficult for people to get to our front door. It took his crew a little over a week to clean out, trim, transplant, mulch and put in new plants. From our perspective, they all (and I mean "all" of the guys) went above and beyond to help us with this project. We were more than satisfied with the quality of their work and their work ethic. If you want a hands-on owner and his crew who pay attention to detail and listen to what the client wants and needs, then Landscape By Design is the right company to do the job! Also their work is realistically and reasonable priced. We highly recommend them.

Though this was a small job, Mark did a great job. He found fairly large hedges of the exact type and removed the old and replaced them with the new plants. While here, I also asked for a price and had them clean up the front corner area of my property which included stripping palm trees and adding in new crotons. He and his assistant did a very nice job and both were very friendly and provided me with care information for my plants. I plan to rehire this company for future work.

At first it went fine. The contractor came out we talked and he gave me several suggestions of which I was open to about 50% of them. I think he felt like I wasn't open to his ideas which I was because I had some ideas of my own but wanted his opinion and also some new ideas. So we wrapped up the conversation and he said he would be getting back to me with a plan and prices but he never did. Here I sit three weeks later with nothing. So I have moved on unfortunately. I thought this individual was very knowledgeable about his work. So it's unfortunate.

Although he made an appointment at very inconvenient time, he did not show up or call.

Mark and his crew did a great job and made sure the project was done correctly. Landscape by Design continues to maintain all of our gardens including trimming, weeding, mulching and removing leaves. I've used several other lawn services and none came close to the service and results that Mark has provided.
