Lambert roofing scheduled to come to my home between 8-4 to provide us with a roofing repair estimate. They said they would call before coming. As no one had called nor shown up at my home and it was 345 I called the company twice. The lady answering the phone informed me the employee assigned to come had called out sick. I asked her why, since they knew he had houses assigned and wouldn't be going to any, why they wouldn't have called to let those customers know and reschedule. She did not have an answer and seemed annoyed, dismissive and did not care. She asked the owner when someone could come back out and he said the following day after 10. I said ok but that they didn't instill much confidence in me since they couldn't communicate. She again did not seem interested and we ended the call. She then proceeded to call me a few minutes later to inform me the owner said since I'm not confident in them I need to find another company. Again she was very rude. I was quite shocked that they called me back, especially to be so rude and for the owner to not take ownership of his company's mistake. Honestly they did me a favor because I will not have to waste my time or give my money to a company that does not care about their customers. I've never seen a service industry so disconnected and rude to what would've been a new customer. i normally only take the time to give positive feedback, however their lack of character and complete disrespect has made me take the time out of my schedule to provide this honest feedback in the hopes it will prevent future customers from reaching out to them. There are so many other local roofers, so I highly suggest you call them, even if you have to wait a little longer for them to come out, it will save you this hassle of not scheduling with others and this company not showing, communicating or apologizing. I highly doubt this company will change since this response was from the owner, who sets the example for the employees. This is probably why they were able to come out so quickly, because they aren't reputable enough to keep or earn business and have little of it.

They ripped a soffit out and then just shoved it back up. I now have five water leaks in the ceiling above my office, his solution to resolve that was to spray paint the area rather than find the leaks and repair them. Shortly after he worked on my roof it leaked onto my air conditioner. He sent a worker back out to repair that. I told him what happened to my air conditioner he never bothered to call back to make sure my issue was okay.

To whom this may concern. I am sending copy of the proposal and pictures of the home in question. When you look at the proposal you can tell that she had leaks before we starting her roof. My company contracted with [member name removed], To install a new roof over her main house. While talking with [member name removed], I told her that it would be around two months, Before I would be able to do her roof. She said that would be ok with her. As long as we could put a tarpaulin on the roof, To prevent Any more water damage. We installed the tarpaulin the day after she signed the proposal. We started her roof on August 29,2013. We removed the old roof, Sweep clean and added nails to the roof deck where needed. We installed two layers of Tarco easy base peel and seal underlayment, Staggered laps. We then installed a Tarco granular easy cap, over the easy base. The county did the final inspection on Sept. 16,2013. We passed the Inspection. Around the end of Sept. [member name removed] called and stated that she had a leak. The next day we went out to check to see what could have happened. We found that the old asbestos chimney had developed a large crack in the asbestos. We installed a tarpaulin over the chimney to keep any more water from getting in. I called [member name removed] the next day to let her know where the leak was coming from. I also told her, I was going to try and repair it. She called again some time in Oct., She stated that she had a few spots on her ceiling. She wanted to know what I could or would do about it. The next day I sent one of me guys to her home with a can of kil’s. Think that is what she wanted. She told him she did not want the spots painted, She wanted us to recheck the roof to see if there was anything Wrong. The guy that I sent out to paint the spots was not a roofer. He came back and told me what she wanted. The next day I sent a couple of guys to her home, I told them to go over the entire roof and look for anything that might cause a leak and repair if anything was found. They also asked her if the could paint over the spots, To see if the spots would come back after a couple of rains. She would not allow it. That is the last time we have heard from her, Until I received the letter from you. She has never called me and said anything about other leaks or about the soffit coming down. I had my roof replaced because it " was time" , not that I had a leak. After the replacement, the ceiling stained with water after the first rain. We called Lambert and they came after a few days. The man said a nail was punched thru. It was repaired but my ceiling needed to be repainted. It took 6 months of constant badgering them to finally have painters come out . Now it has been 6 yrs and it leaked all around the ceiling by the fireplace. We called them and they took no responsibility. I had another roofer fix the flashing. I do not recommend their shoddy work. The price was good but the work was cheap. Stay far away.
