Karoly Windows & Doors

I interviewed 5 different window companies and Karoly Windows and doors ranked the best in pricing, product and service. I never had any issues with the company and have recommended it to my friends and even my handyman in order to get the word out. The installers do excellent work (right down to the caulking) and are extremely professional. They left the work areas clean. I am so pleased with my windows and sliders and give the company my highest recommendation. I would absolutely use them again.

This is the second time i used Karoly, i had three additional windows that had to be replaced. Excellent work, extremely professional-- from Karoly (who came out to do the initial measurements and was very prompt), and especially to the installation team (they did a fantastic job). My windows are simple beautiful. Total professionals from start to finish.

Done in a day. The windows are tight and a huge upgrade from the contractor grade windows they replaced.

Initially arranged to take 2 days, but was called a week prior and Karoly said they could only come one day. Sent 4 workers and it was done in 1 day.....

Received a price from them but went in another direction.

The office was accommodating in that we had to reschedule due to illness. Karoly the owner gave us a great price after factoring the 25% Angie's List discount. The installation crew and windows arrived on time. The work was completed in one day. The crew left the work areas clean and put down drop cloths and other protective material. The finished work looks and works great. If I have to nit-pick I would say a little better communication by the installers would be nice. Our house is block construction stucco finish, and I knew the exterior bathroom window ledge was not in good shape. But, it would have been nice for the installer to point out that in the installation process he knocked off all the top concrete. Not his fault, but to leave without saying something is not good. Overall a good experience and I would recommend Karoly Windows and Doors to anyone.

We could not brag enough about Karoly Windows and Doors. These guys are perfectionists and went above and beyond to make sure that our huge project went smoothly. We had 29 windows replaced, plus a set of french doors, a sliding glass door, and three other exterior doors. The construction of our house is a bit odd and a lot of our frames are strange shapes and sizes. But they worked tirelessly (through rain and sun!) to make sure everything looks perfect. They also traveled everyday to our home in Brevard county from Tampa. These guys are hard workers and got it all done in 3 days. I couldn’t recommend them higher!

I spent a little more money than I initially intended to spend, but it was well worth it! Sometimes what you need most is a company with integrity!! I talked to 7 different window companies. The more I listened, the more confused I got. When I finally got to Karoly Windows, I felt like my questions were being answered honestly, not with whatever spin and hype was necessary to convince me to buy their windows. The windows came sooner than I expected. The installation crew was great. There was one small issue after the fact, but when you deal with a company that has integrity, there is no need to worry! Problem easily solved!

Calling Karoly Windows & Doors, I kept regular communication with Danalyn and Cindy. Talking with them was not only necessary, but pleasant. They were always helpful and timely in addressing any question or concerns that I might have had. Karoly came out to the property which consisted of a front house and a separate mother-in-law apartment for a free estimate of PGT windows and front door replacement. He took measurements throughout the property, then tested the buildings for lead-based paint. A few days later he emailed me an estimate and a timeline of the project; I agreed with his proposal. The proposal stated it would take X amount of time for the windows to be fabricated from the manufacturer. The time came for the window to arrive but were not available yet. Karoly offered an explanation that the manufacturer was deluged with big client orders and that they were behind schedule. He suggested that we should wait another week and if the windows were still not available he would get me window from another manufacturer - Simonton for the same quoted price - I quickly agreed to that! I ended up getting the Simonton windows. His crew came out and with no nonsense work ethic installed my windows (including picture window) and door. They cleaned up after themselves and I am very happy about the entire process.

In all the years I have had work done to our homes, I have never come across a contractor that was so thoroughly excellent in every facet of a job. From initial responsiveness, to a quick visit and estimate from across the state, to reasonable pricing, absolutely perfect paper work, seamless permit acquisition, arrival on time on the scheduled date and completion of the work in a neat and professional manner. Even the county inspector who came here to do the final inspection was complimentary of their work. I could not be more pleased and would whole-heartedly recommend Karoly Windows and Doors to anyone. They are first class in every way.

After getting quotes from several companies I settled on Karoly. Their quote was the most complete and their price was right. I was not disappointed.

Karoly Windows & Doors is a first-class operation! We have never replaced windows before and were nervous going into this project. After reading the reviews for Karoly Windows & Doors on Angie's List, we went to their website and submitted the information needed for an online quote. We received the quote the next day and scheduled an appointment for a free in-home estimate to confirm the measurements and discuss various options. Although we are located outside of Karoly's county range, he was willing to drive a couple of hours to our home since we were replacing all windows and exterior doors. We obtained quotes from other vendors but Karoly won us over with his knowledge, professionalism and very comparable and affordable quote. We ordered Simonton 5500 Reflections double-hung impact-resistant windows, a custom PGT sliding glass door and a front entry door with a sidelight. To our advantage, Simonton was offering a special rebate for 7 or more qualifying windows during the time when our order was being processed. The rebate information was included in the contract we received from Karoly Windows & Doors and Danalyn was very helpful in our submission of the rebate form. We were so happy when we received the $200 gift card from Simonton! When our windows/doors order was completed, Danalyn contacted us to schedule a time for installation. Karoly and his team of 3 expert installers arrived around 9AM and worked until approximately 6PM. They placed mats on the floor by all windows/doors while they worked and did a super job of cleaning up afterwards which included removing all the old windows and doors. Initially, we were told it would be a 2-day installation, but when the team arrived, Karoly indicated they were prepared to do the job in one day to avoid excess driving. We were thrilled to say the least! The inspector came today and signed off on the project, noting the very professional job! We love our new windows and doors! Every time my husband opens the new glass doors, he comments that they deserve to be in a bank vault! They are quality, sturdy and slide with ease! The windows are beautiful and are minimizing moisture in the house and road noise from the outside while the sidelight by the front door is adding much needed light to the interior of our home.

We are thrilled with our new windows. Karoly and his team did a fantastic job. His estimate wasn't the most expensive or the least expensive, but he made it clear that his goal was to have a satisfied customer after installation was complete. Since we had 5 geometric arched windows in our order, the ordering process took longer than I would have liked, but the installation went quicker than I expected. The window inspector commented that Karoly's company does excellent work, and the salesman who came to measure for window treatments asked me for a referral. We highly recommend them!

Everything went wonderful from the beginning to the end. Every one was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were very careful while working in the condo. The owner and office staff could not have been more friendly and pleasant.

The project went extremely well. Karoly's team was very professional and hard working. We used Simonton and PCT products and their quality was excellent. They will remove window coverings but if they are damaged then they have not have any risk (standard for this type of business). If I could give an A+ I would. Only comment is this is very noisy and creates a lot of dust... so be prepared. They do an excellent job cleaning up but it still requires some cleaning after they are finished. (The vinyl dust floats in your house).

We can highly recommend Karoly. Karoly and the installers were all a pleasure to work with. They were professional and did an excellent job. They were punctual and did a great job cleaning up after the job was done! We got exactly what we wanted.

If you find yourself in the market for replacement windows, you absolutely must include Karoly in your decision-making process. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable and is more than willing to take the time to educate the buyer on this hugely expensive, and confusing, expense. I can't say enough positive things about this guy. So, WHY, you may ask, did I not award the project to him? It was a tough decision but I ended up going with a local company that I had previously worked with....they were just about the same money, but I felt a bit more comfortable using a known entity for such a costly job. Karoly was a super-close runner-up. Seriously, you need to talk to this guy if you need replacement windows....he has a great website, too!

Overall it went very well. Karoly, the owner, came to verify measurements given over the internet and finalize an estimate. His bid for the job wasn't the cheapest, but he made my wife and myself feel very confident in his company and the products he was selling us. There were some minor glitches during installation, but Karoly made good on them. When the county inspector came to inspect the work, he told me that this was one of the best window replacement jobs he had seen. Very happy with everything that Karoly did for us. He is a man of his word, which is very hard to find nowadays!

Went very well. Karoly , the owner showed up early soon after the installers. Installers laid down matts below each window so as to keep our floors clean. They removed old windows and then installed new ones without having to break any stucco out. They fit exactly into our old window openings. We chose Karoly windows due to their A ratings on Angie's List and were happy with the windows and the work. We appreciated that Simonton new windows, 5500 series had high ratings and if anything happens they apparently offer a change of parts much faster than window manufacturers.

It went great! The two men were here about 4 hours and did an excellent job. We love the new doors, and didn't even have to touch up paint anywhere afterward. Would use for any future needs in windows or doors. Excellent price, also.
