Because one of the doors was an odd size, several door companies told us we would not be able to use a pre-hung door, but Karoly was able to use one with no problem. And the door works better than it has in all the time we have lived in this house. He was prompt and professional.

Karoly provided the best price and actually quoted me the same price for Simonton's 5500 series windows as other contractors quoted me for the lesser quality 5050's. Karoy and his crew of tw others installed the windows and it looks good. The project started on a Friday. They could not complete it that day so they came back on Monday to finish the job.

They are an outstanding company. I give them high ratings on all the categories. Their communication was great. Their professionalism was good as well. I was dealing with somebody who was the installer as opposed to a salesman; he has been trained by one of the facilities. The windows and doors that I had replaced was not a very easy thing to do based on the type of house and doors. Those people came out and knew exactly what to do. They finished everything within a day and the job was excellent. They weren’t happy until I was happy. They were also well aware of all the core requirements for the county here and pulled out some things that worked in this place while other people were giving estimates at the time. So I’m very happy and impressed with the whole operation. I will use their services again in the future.

He is a very honest person. He does what he says he will do. When he said he would be here at 8:00 he was here at 8:00.

When we decided to replace our windows, we approached three different companies for estimates of the cost of the entire project. Not only did Karoly come in with a lower cost , but also included a premier window, which is one of the most higly rated window currently on the market. When the decision was made to hire him, he gave us the schedule of when the windows would be ready to install (they had to be ordered from the manufacturer) and set the dates for installation in accordance to our convenience. His expertise was evident while observing him doing the removal of the old windows (which were around 30 years old) and then installing the new ones. He was meticulous in insuring proper caulking was accomplished. Bear in mind we live on the fifth floor in a high rise condominium. All the work was completed as scheduled with complete satisfaction. Unfortuantely, one of the screens was slightly damaged (not during installation) and we requested it be replaced (there is a lifetime warranty on the window and screen). Arrangements were made to have the new screen sent to us directly. We are highly pleased with the work performed by Karoly LLC and would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

Overall, the work was okay. They were average, but they provided quick service. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

As a former home builder in New England for 25 years, but quite concerned about the reputation of Florida contractors, Karoly was great to deal with start to finish. He promptly returned all calls and was a straight shooter in every repect. His prices were also great, the lowest of the other three contractors I got estimates from. That is usually a red flag, but Karoly proved that stereotype wrong, and I'll be using him in the future because of my positive experience. All in all, A's across the board for this contractor, and a nice guy to boot.

The windows all met the U factor of .30 or lower and were Simonton 5500 series non impact. He installed six sliders and seven windows. Four of the sliders were nine footers. I had four other sales personnel at the house selling their windows. The lowest price that I received from them was $21,000. One of the salesman pitch sounded to good to be true. I called factory and was told that they could not sell that window here in Florida. I emailed my measurements to Karoly and within 24 hours, he emailed me back the price of each of the windows with their specifications and the seperate cost of installation per window. He also discounted the price of the windows. We agreed on a total price and two weeks later he started installing. The installation took three days. He asked me on the second day to go over the windows that were installed and on the third day they corrected everything to my satisfaction. As Karoly is doing the installation, you are dealing with a very efficient and conscientious installer directly rather than another salesman you will not see again. I highly recommend Karoly and his company.

Used his website to get rough cost estimate then got other estimates with exact same product for comparison. He was the lowest price compared to other home improvement stores (they sell Simonton 6500 that's the same window) and two other independent installers. Two neighbors had Simonton windows so I knew what to expect in terms of product and warranty and after-the-sale manufacturer service along with approximate price from my neighbors' experience. Didn't even look at other windows after interviewing neighbors and installers who use several brands. Simonton was their hands-down recommendation. As for the doors, I needed to update 30-year-old doors and spec'd 6-panel doors to give home a fresh, updated look. Karoly was courteous and obviously very knowledgeable. He and his crew were punctual and responsive in performing work (total job took only 2 days). Crew -- David and Michael -- were equally careful and courteous. I prepared the house as requested (took down blinds and cleared work area around each window) and they worked neatly and competently throughout both days, finishing as promised in two days. Permit was pulled initially and the follow up inspection found minor issues that were resolved by David the next day. Job started on time and ended on time. New windows and doors make a huge difference in the look of my home. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Karoly and would call him in for any future work of a similar nature without hesitation.

Excellent workmanship, his manner was affable, he was ontime as he indicated, and he cleaned up the area without a problem. Overall I would recommend Mr. Karoly to friends and family because of his desire to please and his craftmanship. Also, he assists in finding areas of finance and since he installs the windows the middleman is negated. He knows his product and what is best for the homeowner offering the best price on the market.
