Karoly Windows & Doors

Karoly was very professional as was his crew. They were even one of the best estimates. Good work and good estimates don't always go together but thankfully this time they did. The county inspector even commented on the good work they did in placing the windows. I would not hesitate to recommend Karoly to anyone.

House: CBC, 3/2, 1400 sq.ft., built in 1967. Originally had contractor grade "Miami" windows that we replaced with a slightly upgraded windows in 1980. We decided have double-glazed, tempered glass windows installed to provide better hurricane/wind protection and to, hopefully, reduce energy costs. Our area pays some of the highest power rates in the country and anything that can be done to reduce these abusive rates is a step in the right direction. We contacted Karoly Windows based on their Angie's List rating. A wise move. Our estimate was professionally provided by the company owner, the price was commensurate with the quality of the product, the reviews were reassuring so we signed the contract. The time frame given was 4-6 weeks and the job was successfully completed in 4 weeks much to our satisfaction. The installation crew arrived exactly on time, installed the windows with a minimum of disruption and left both the inside and out spotless. During the install the owner arrived, made sure all was going well and gave my wife and I instruction involving all the details of the window operation. All in all we very much recommend Karoly Windows. You won't be disappointed. If anyone has any questions, I'll be glad to answer them.

From start to finish, there were no issues and no problems. No pressure at all with Karoly. That's one thing I cannot stand is a high pressure sales pitch like: "You can have this price, if you sign up today!" None of that with Karoly Windows and Doors. Karoly (the owner) comes out, measures and sends you a quote for the work. Simple as that. We had other estimates and Karoly's was the best and offered the best windows. Yara in the office worked with us to get set up for the installation. On the day of installation, the guys came out promptly and started working quickly. They lay down rugs under the windows to prevent messes. They were both very friendly and diligent workers. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the first window out and the new one in. They caulked and sealed up the window and moved onto the next one... These new windows could not have come at a better time as our neighbors put up a trampoline... LOL. Kids can be loud. Karoly came out to check on the installation progress and as he was showing us all about using the windows and where the labels are on the windows, he opened the window. I asked him to shut it and listened... NOTHING !!! There was a diesel truck outside that we could hear with the window open, but not when it was shut! That's exactly what we wanted !! Good quality windows and excellent sound proofing !!! Can't wait for the savings on our power bill too! If you need new windows - you can trust in Karoly Windows and doors

From initial contact to receipt of final paid invoice, everyone with the company was professional, friendly, prompt, and helpful. They obtained the necessary permit and arranged for the post completion inspection, as well as provided information necessary to apply for TECO rebates. The installation team completed the job in 2 days, including reconstruction of some framing which had deteriorated over time. They were conscientious about minimizing the dust and cleaning up at the end of the day, all the way down to cleaning the glass before they left for the last time . The final product was very well done and looks great. While I can't say I'd look forward to replacing all my windows again, if you need to do it, Karoly and staff can certainly make is as painless and affordable as possible.

We contacted Karoly for an estimate to replace two single-hung windows. We received an e-mail quote shortly after we called. Once we agreed to the job, he came out to measure to insure that everything was the correct size. It took approximately 30 days for the windows to be made. As soon as they were completed, we were contacted to schedule a time for installation. Karoly arrived on time and immediately began installing the windows. He finished in approximately three hours and cleaned up everything when he finished. The next day we were contacted to set up a time for the inspection by the building official. When we were inspected, the building inspector asked who performed the work because it was one of the best installation jobs he had seen. We will definitely be using Karoly to replace other windows and doors in our house.

Everything was great installers were very conscientious and took their time doing job correctly. Karoly and his office staff were very proficient in all. I highly recommend this company!

I was attracted to the good reviews Karoly received on Angie's List. I called Karoly for a quotation on some windows and he provided an email quote based on my rough measurements within a day. The quote was reasonable so I invited him over to do the exact measurements. After discussing various options and pricing I decided to change out all the windows and the two sliding doors. After his office provided an official quote and contract terms, we agreed to use his company's services. While the windows were on order Karoly's office arranged the necessary permits for the job. Once the windows arrived, Karoly and two of his workers installed the windows and doors over two days. They were careful, meticulous and professional in their work. They cleaned up at the end of each day and after the job was completed, arranged for the inspection. Karoly also took the time to explain how the windows worked and how to maintain them. He guaranteed his workmanship and I felt confident that Karoly would be responsive to any issues I had down the road. I highly recommend Karoly and his team as high value service providers.

Karoly Windows and Doors is a top-notch business. They always responded right away, did what they said they would do, showed up when they said they would, and did a high-quality job...all with a GREAT price! I submitted my request for quote and they responded with a quote within 24 hours. I had several changes for them to quote and they were always quick to respond and polite. As usual, I got quotes from 3 different companies. Karoly was by far the most reasonably priced for Simonton StormBreaker Plus, not to mention highly professional. Karoly came to measure the windows before I signed the contract (the price stayed the same.). While here, Karoly explained the process and installation step-by-step. Once I signed the contract, they initiated the permitting. Throughout each step in the full process, Karoly and his office staff kept me apprised of the progress. (His office staff are all great.) The windows arrived on time and went in without a problem. It took 2 days for the installation. They cleaned up throughout the installation, after each window was taken out and after each one was installed. This is an older house, so I expected problems (there usually is), but no problems. For being the most expensive part of our renovations, it was the easiest! His installers were very professional and polite as well. Karoly's office staff scheduled the inspection, which passed with flying colors. My friends and neighbors have commented how great the windows look and how solid they are. It is much quieter inside the house now! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAROLY WINDOWS AND DOORS! Karoly sets the benchmark for professionalism. I wish more contracting businesses were like Karoly Windows. They did it right the first time!

Karoly came out to my home approx 1 month prior to install for exact measurements and discuss the new Simonton sliding door with us. The office managers kept on top of obtaining the needed county permits and let us know regularly what was going on all the way until the install day. 2 very professional installers arrived on schedule for the install and began immediately. They answered all of my questions willingly, they were well equipped, thoughtful and highly skilled. Entire install took approx. 5 hours start to finish. Karoly came to examine the install later in the day = while there he attempted to remove glue / adhesive from the glass and frame to no avail. He had to locate stronger cleaner, came back and spent approx. an hour cleaning off glue. The county did do a FINAL inspection as required and everything passed with no issues. Karoly and his team are true professionals and I would contract with them again without question. If new doors or windows are needed at your home, give them a call.

The installers were on time, professional, and did a very good job. There was a miscommunication on the sash type that went unnoticed until the day of installation. Karoly went ahead with the original installation so we could enjoy the benefits of new, energy efficient windows while we waited for the correct sashes to be installed at a later date. Karoly took care of all the extra costs. I would definitely recommend using him for your next window project. I will for future projects in my house.

I hired Karoly windows and doors to install a new front door on my house. Everything went perfectly. Karoly's assistant showed up on time, and installed the door like a true professional. He also thoroughly cleaned the area when he was finished. My wife and I are extremely happy with the door. I have used Karoly before to install windows on my house, and now a door, and I would have no problem using him in the future, and highly recommend his services.

The work performed and the quality of product were both excellent. First contact was the owner of the company (Karoly) coming to my house personally to measure the door and evaluate what would be needed to do the install properly. He arrived on time and identified several problem areas that would be addressed to do the install properly because of the non standard door opening. These were documented for the install crew so there would be misunderstanding by installers. The day of the install the men arrived on time, were very polite and professional. During the install process some additional problems were discovered once the old door was removed. These were quickly resolved by the installers after consulting with Karoly by phone. Before the installation was complete Karoly came to inspect the work, made some additional changes to insure I was completely happy with job. Over the years I have dealt with many window companies but without a doubt Karoly Window & Door is the best by a country mile. If you want the best, the combination of Karoly Window and the Carrelton products they us cannot be beat.

Karoly was personally involved in all aspects of the job. When original windows arrived incorrect, rather than calling, Karoly came to the house to advise the problem and what he was doing to expedite replacement. Installers were excellent and courteous.

They came and started early friday morning, and took the old frame out so easily and pick up every piece of nail and whatever other stuff that was on the floor of my kitchen and out on my patio. Then they put the new door in and made sure it was secure in every way, they clean the glass before they left and everything else,like they were never there. PERFECT AS PERFECT CAN GET ! What I like about Karoly Windows and Doors their price was perfect for me and no extra cost . THANK YOU Mr Karoly for your honest and fair service. I will be using Karoly Windows and Doors again , matter of fact I told him next year I will be calling him for new windows,

Karoly was prompt, professional, courteous. He sent his proposal out immediately (email) and followed up on it. I believe that if we hadn't decided to go with Home Depot, his quote was within reason and we might well hae used him to install our windows. We paid slightly more for what we felt were similar or better windows from Home Depot but appreciate knowing they'll continue to be in business for years-to-come where the warranty of windows is concerned.

Karoly came and did the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a decent price. He got the permits and installed everything in one day. It was a great job and everything was left clean and beautiful. We love our new windows and sliding glass door.

Absolutely Fantastic! I live in central florida and I have looked at virtually every single reputable dealer in my market. During my initial research it was interesting to see how each one of these dealers all gave a different price, different install time frames, some weren't professional and there were two companies whom yet to send me quotes. My wife and I bought the Simonton 5500 series windows and patio doors, exterior color is bronze and interior white. We chose simonton because of there quality, price, customer and because simonton (manufacturer) has been in business a very long time. Why I chose Karoly: professionalism, quality, angies list reviews and probably the most important..they ALWAYS answered my call, ALWAYS returned an email and voicemail message. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YARA's customer service is second to none, I promise you that! From the first time that I spoke with Yara she was attentive to my request, professional, and made me feel real comfortable being located in orlando and karoly being located in Tampa. Within minutes after speaking with her, I had my quote fully broken down and itemized. (Unlike some dealers whom propose the bundled package price, I wanted to know full cost with labor, material, etc. you'd be surprised how many other dealers wouldnt give me the breakdown, much less a quote) After I accepted the quote, Karoly himself (yes the owner of the company) personally came out to my home to take an additional set of measurements. He was professional and took whatever time I needed from him to explain everything on the install from head to toe. As a new home owner having never replaced windows, I really appreciated this. Karoly made me feel like a valuable consumer instead of a dollar sign. Once karoly the second set of measurements were taken, my windows and doors were delivered in about 4 weeks....fastest out of everyone I checked with. On the day of install, all of Karolys employees (yes his employees, not contractors) showed up on time, prepped my house prior to starting the job. All of there work was clean, quality driven and when they were done, all work areas were. Completely picked up as it was before they started work. The entire job took about 2.5 days to complete. I had 10 windows and 3 sliding glass doors replaced. Karoly windows and doors replaced my old front entry door with a new impact rated door with 3/4 glass impact rated glass insert. i could not be happier! the company was very professional in everything that they did.. from start to finish,they kept me updated from the lead time it would take for door to come in, to when the door would be installed. Their professionalism and quality of their work was impeccable. Not knowing that it roughly takes about 4 hours to replace and install a new door, i was quite impressed with their workmanship and their detail for perfection. They cleaned up everything including vacuuming my tile floor in the front door entry way. When we started our process of selecting a contractor for impact windows and doors, we went to several home shows and paper advertising. We met with five different companies. After listening to the fourth presentation, we were becoming frustrated. The presentations lasted roughly 3 hours each, and primarily consisted of explaining all the negatives of the competition. Our last company was Karoly Windows and Doors. It was refreshing to sit and talk with Karoly and have him explain the pros and cons of the different windows he offered. He is very knowledgable of the windows and installation. We also liked that he was a small business and a hands on owner. After deciding to go with Karoly, he was available whenever we had questions and concerns. The installation was professional and quick. We had an issue with one window, but Karoly ordered a new one and came and installed it within two weeks. We purchased double hung windows, a pocket slider, a front door with side lite, and a garage entry door, all impact resistant. We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Karoly Windows and Doors.

This is a wonderful company, our first STRESS FREE remodeling project! We had a few other estimates, Karoly was able to price match for us, and we are so glad we went with them for the work. They are punctual, professional and the end result is beautiful, we love our PlastPro french doors and sidelites with the blinds between the glass, I would recommend this product and these installers to anyone. The office staff is also very helpful and professional, overall a pleasure to do business with.

We thought we had made up our mind regarding an installer and product therefore we almost cancelled our appointment with Karoly for an estimate. Thank heavens we didnt cancel. He gave us an open, honest, professional and concise presentation that wowed us. What he offered for services and the product he recommenced has turned out to be one of the best investments we have made in our home in the 18 years we have been here (and well below the several other estimates we received). Karoly is the owner, sales team, AND he is on the job, working and Q.C.-ing. His installers (not subcontractors) were polite, respectful of our home, and skilled professionals. His office staff, YARA, in particular, was an absolute delight to work with answering all of my MANY detailed inquiries with precision and a most cheery disposition. Yara's attention to detail ensured that no detail on the final product came as a surprise or problem. Karoly and his installers were punctual for every event from estimate through completion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Excellent, nothing else to say

After getting over 5 different quotes on window replacements, Karoly came in at the highest quality and best price. I was so pleased with the price that I added additional windows to the project that I did not think I would be able to include in my budget. I was able to get baseline prices over the phone and a quote sent to me by email. It was quick and easy. When Karoly came out to take measurements, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that he was involved in the installation as well and not just a salesman. He was able to give me a lot more information about what was possible in the new window installation.The guy knows his stuff! I had a prior leak in my previous windows that caused some damage to the house that was discovered when removing the old windows. Karoly could have honestly used the opportunity to scare me into paying a higher price to fix these areas, but he was an honest man and didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. His work strengthened these areas nicely and it looks fantastic. He also took extra steps to seal other areas of the outside of my house that could leak. It is all the extra things that Karoly did at no extra charge that really made me glad I chose his group. The man is passionate about his work. I could tell that Karoly and his team treated my house as if it were their own. They were all polite and cleaned up very well post install. I will be using them again for more windows in the future.

The owner gave a prompt and professional appraisal of the work needing to be done. He knew all current building codes and had advice as to the best products. He listened to any concerns we had, and accomodated our wishes. At our request work was delayed until after the holidays. He and his crew showed up on time and worked quickly to complete the installation. He made sure the site was clean when they left and that any concerns we had were immediately addressed. His office scheduled a city inspection for the next day at our request. Overall I would recommend this business to anyone considering window or door replacement. The owner handles his business in a professional manner with a definite emphasis on honesty and customer satisfaction.
