We were so impressed by their professionalism- they were always on time and took their time explaining step by step what they were doing to make sure we understood. We had a very complicated project that involved load bearing walls and they worked so hard to finish it and make it look good. They really take pride in their work- and they care- the owner is always on site making sure it is to his standards. I would highly recommend them.

Karoly was extremely professional! His entire team, from the office to the onsite team were professional, hard working and really knew what they were doing. They made the entire process so easy. They always went above and beyond on all details and would patiently answer any questions we had! Their craftsmanship was excellent. We would highly recommend them!

Karoly arrived promptly to estimate the job. I placed my order a few days later, with 50% down payment via credit card. He was helpful and professional. The installer was skilled and professional as well. These people know their business and are friendly and fairly priced. Very happy with the result.

So far, he's been extremely service-oriented, and seems to be half the price of other providers we've spoken to. He really seems great, and he's doing everything he can to make us happy. We even added a door to the order because of Karoly's service and the savings he offered.

Karoly came to my home several times to go over all my questions and concerns. This was really helpful as I have never ordered new windows. His responsiveness was great. The office staff was also was very quick to see to my concerns and paperwork. I had 11 windows replaced. The workers did the entire job in one day. It went well. One sash had to be replaced due to a factory defect in the glass. This was taken care of. Karoly came by to go over the operation of windows and check things after the job. Thanks for making a stressful purchase for me easier.

I had obtained 4 estimates in 2011 (before joining Angies List) to have this work done but put it off due to the cost at that time, but I still had those estimates. One review on Angies List for Karoly Windows said simply "Karoly will be the least expensive quote you will get, so he is the only call you need to make." Since I had the 4 previous quotes for comparison, some including the very same brand and model of windows, I called and Karoly scheduled an appoint within a couple of days and arrived at the appointed time. He was thorough and took measurements of all windows on that Thursday and I received the complete, detailed 6 page quote 2 days later by email. As expected, his quote was lower than any of the previous ones from 4 years earlier even though I am certain that labor costs, etc., have gone up since then. We scheduled the installation for about a month later due to a trip out of town I had to make and his crew showed up promptly the first morning as scheduled to begin the process which went very smoothly. Once the first window was removed, they immediately begin replacing it while beginning the removal process of the next window so that at no time were there more than 3 windows opened which was a great help since it was the middle of July and very hot. They did just over 1/2 the windows the first day, working until well past 5:00 PM and came back promptly the next morning to complete the job. The installation crew was very thorough and after one small ding in the colorcrete finish on one outside window sill was pointed out they were very careful to protect the colorcrete finish on my cement block home on the entire rest of the job. They were also very meticulous in their cleanup once each window was installed. There was nothing that I had to do after the installation to touch up damaged areas either inside or outside the home due to their care in removal and installation. After one of the double wide windows was installed I noticed that the frame of one upper sash was not straight (a manufacturing defect) and Karoly said he would order a replacement sash and stop by to install it once if was received. He called me about 10 days after the installation was complete and brought the replacement sash by and lett me keep the older one to use in case of another window was ever broken. I was at home the entire time of the installation and very impressed with how carefull the installers were to limit the "mess" made by the removal of the old aluminum frame windows and how meticulous they were in their cleanup in each room afterr the windows were installed, thoroughly vacuuming the carpet and whole area after they were done with each window. I would highly recommend Karoly for any replacement window work needed. I also agree that if you don't want to bother with multiple quotes, just know that Karoly will be the lowest anyway when comparing to other quotes for the sample products to be installed. Great job done at a good price as well.

They were very helpful and understanding - my mom just moved in, so we have a lot of boxes everywhere and not a lot of room to maneuver. They came when they said they would and the installation looks great. They cleaned up everything and I could hardly tell they were here except for my beautiful new windows.

I'm very disappointed that this company is apparently too busy for customers. I reached out to Karoly on October 16 via email. I included quite a few specific details regarding my home's location, age, and the fact that this project is part of an ongoing and very elaborate renovation. In other words, I understand quality work takes time and requires a serious financial commitment. I did not hear anything from Karoly until October 21 when I received an email asking if I had yet had the windows tested for lead. I replied within minutes that I had not done so, yet, but was prepared to do so and would work with them (Karoly) to do whatever was necessary to move forward including spending hundreds of dollars on lead testing. No reply. I called again yesterday; still no reply. I understand the company is busy, but so am I. If i'm going to take the time to reach out to them, the least they can do is provide a timely and professional response.

Excellent customer service. Karoly is very easy to work with and very knowledgable about his product and installation. The men that installed the windows and doors were friendly and always cleaned up after their work. The windows look fabulous and really changed the appearance of our home. Not only do they look good, but they are already saving us money! Our energy bill was 20% lower for August from the year prior. We are going to be doing construction soon and hope to have Karoly and his guys install the new windows. My only recommendation is to replace your windows when it is not 100 degrees outside!!

I never got the estimate with the breakdown I requested. I even took pictures and emailed to them. If this is how poor they are at acquiring business, I can't imagine how poor their responsiveness with be for customer service.

The installation was professional and quick. The windows look beautiful. All the neighbors and contractors have commented. Makes the house look wonderful. Finishes (caulking) are especially well done.

I love the windows and front door. Karoly and his employees are wonderful to work with. Everything went smoothly and we would definitely use them again.

Karoly and his team were very helpful, punctual and did a great job. They estimated 3 days to complete the work, but did it in 2. There were some extra windows delivered and 1 wrong one (manufacturer issue). The wrong brand and style was the correct size, so it was installed, and as soon as the correct one was in (about 1 wk), it was replaced. I went from the single paned windows with the colonial grids to the double paned, double hung, windows with no grids. I love them. So far so good. The installers were friendly, prompt,and cleaned up after. I recommend them.

Karoly was friendly and professional. He gave a timeline for completion of the project and all work was completed in a timely manner. The Karoly staff did a fantastic job installing all of the windows and doors.

Excellent and professional staff and Karoly worked with his crew for several hours and came back when they finished to check on everything. They went way above and beyond my expectations, cleaned up everything and left me with sparkling insulated windows.

After the initial contact by email Karoly came to my house to take the final measurements of the windows and his estimate was considerably lower than those I received from other companies. Installation took two days and the installers arrived on time.They removed the old windows which were covered with metal screens with a minimum amount of mess and disruption,installed the new windows and cleaned up as they went. They did an impeccable job and the new windows look beautiful. When the installation was complete,Karoly came to inspect the work and explain the features of the new windows. They took away the old windows and metal screens and left the house immaculate. I am very happy with my new windows and the fine job done by Karoly and his men.

It went outstanding. They were very neat and clean. They finished project in 2 days, and it has been inspected and improved by the code inspectors. They showed up and on time. I was very pleased with their work. If I had to use them all over again I would.

Karloy, did respond with a quote and explained the problems they had with their computer system was the cause of the delay. Discounted the quote due to the inconvenience. I have not decided on a provider yet as I've pushed the widows and doors back a little while. I will allow them to re-quote when i get back on that project.

From our first contact we were treated professionally by knowledgable people who explained their process including a quick estimate and approximate timeline. When we explained that we were only interested in doing half of our windows now and the rest next year, it was not a problem. When Mr Karoly came out to verify our measurements and the windows, we decided to also replace the bathroom door to the pool. We received a updated proposal and signed the contract; provided 50% down and the windows and door were ordered. We were notified and agreed to an install date. The installers and the windows and door arrived on the agreed date and all work was completed in an extremely professional and courteous manner. They also worked with us as we coordinated the necessary security modifications with ADT to ensure a smooth transition. When the inspector came out to check their work, there was no problem at all. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Karoly people, process, product, workmanship, etc. From first contact to finished project took about six weeks. We plan on using them again for the rest of our windows!

Did not use. Wanted to charge me just to come look at the job and then charge by the hour after that.

It went great. Karoly gave me the lowest price quote by far. I was concerned with workmanship primarily, however. Every question I had regarding the installation was answered well. He has lots of knowledge about installation. His crew is good too. They are not "hammer slammers". I had a difficult schedule since I am out of town a lot on short notice and Karoly worked with me on this. The installations were perfect with solid 90 angles, absolutely level and perpendicular and door latches that hit the center of the striker plate. After a quote from FAS windows that was high as a kite and New South Windows that were a train wreck as far as installation and price goes, it was a pleasure to work with Karoly and his crew. highly recommend.

I contacted Karoly and two other companies for replacement windows. Karoly (the owner) came out personally to take the measurements and explain the available options. We were apprehensive about purchasing low-e windows due to their tendency to block light. However, he took the time to present the various options to us and showed us samples to give us the assurance that the windows would allow plenty of natural light. His pricing came in lower than the other companies but frankly I would have hired him even if his pricing wasn't the lowest. No pushy sales tactics, no pricing games. Our windows were installed about 6 weeks after they were ordered as promised. The installation team worked hard and did a great job. Karoly was present at the start of the installation and also at completion to make sure everything went well. I would highly recommend Karoly and will certainly hire his company for future projects.

Fine. Emails only about 10 times.

We had shopped around for windows and doors for awhile. After talking with the others, Karoly was a pleasure. He scheduled his appointment and showed up on time. We had purchased the Angie list online deal of a 72" by 80" sliding glass door for $999. When Karoly called I informed him that we might order additional windows and another door. Karoly put together a package that was acceptable to us. We were told it might be 4 to 5 weeks before the order came in, and we were ok with that. One morning we got a call from Karoly saying they would be finishing a job early and could squeeze in a couple of windows. That afternoon the guys where here removing and replacing 2 of our 5 windows. At that time he was a week ahead of schedule. Less than a week later Karoly called to schedule the rest of the job. The guys came in at 8AM and did not leave until the job was complete. Each time the guys were working Karoly came by to inspect their work. We do have more work to be done and we will call Karoly Windows and Doors.
