I met with many companies before purchasing windows. Karoly was the only one I called back after the initial estimate. He is very professional yet personable. His office staff is friendly and efficient. Even after installation they were available to answer any questions I had. Without a doubt he's the best out there!

To be able to compare apples with apples, I e-mailed them the make and model of the door and side light that I wanted. Their response, below, did not even address my request. "Good Day, I hope all is well. Please look through our door brochure to see the doors we offer. If you see something you like, please let me know the style number and page number, so I may send you pricing. Thanks, Danalyn

Karoly was excellent from beginning to end. We had five estimates and the folks from Karoly were extremely professional. They provided not only the best overall estimate but the most detailed and easy to understand proposal. This made for an easy decision. They returned the estimate promptly; they installed the windows within three weeks; the price was lower than any of the other 4 companies. We couldn't be happier.

Very well -- one screen didn't get in for some reason, but he made another trip to correct that.

At 9 AM I was called by the man who was to give me the estimate. He essentially talked me out of the service, saying that I would need to have tons of paperwork, inspections and extra service done due to my house being built in the 50s and lead paint possibly being involved. He also mentioned to me that he had lots of other estimates that needed to be done that day and I never received any invoice or paperwork for services.

From start to finish, they worked with us to ensure we got what we needed. They measured, ordered, scheduled, and professionally removed the old and installed our new more efficient windows. I could write more or cut an copy my review from 7/22/15, but instead, I'll refer you to it! We still can't say enough about how pleased we were again with Karoly people, process, product, workmanship, etc.

Everything was great. The delivered the doors on the day they said and constantly kept in touch with us . Just a great experience.

In one day Karoly and his two helpers removed and discarded our 16 year old wood front entry door and side light. They installed a new impact fiberglass door and a side light with built-in mini-blinds. Also, our rear 8' x 8' sliding glass doors were removed and discarded. Then, they installed two French impact fiberglass doors with built-in mini-blinds and a side light with built-in mini-blinds. The entire crew was very friendly it was very nice talking to them. They did a very good job at preventing concrete dust from going into our house when they were cutting the concrete. They covered the entire 8' x 8' sliding glass door section with plastic and it worked. I am sure that most people can find faults with any business so I will mention two "minor" issues. The first minor issue involved fiberglass droppings. During the entire installation process, they had to cut some fiberglass and they setup their saw on our front lawn. When they left, I noticed that they left an ≈ 1' square section of fiberglass droppings on our grass so I cleaned it up. A shop vac would have quickly resolved this issue. Our second minor issue involved openings around the French Doors. I noticed two areas that should have been plugged up to prevent any insects from coming into our living area. One area at the top of the doors was about the size of a square penny. Later, I called Karoly and he sent one of his workers to fix the problem. Overall, my wife and I love our new entry door and French doors. I would definitely recommend Karoly and his crew.

Karoly was professional, on time and very neat. He did everything he said he would and for the same exact product beat everybody's price by at least 6,000.00. I could not be happier. Also everyone gave us a 2 month time frame, ( I got 8 estimates) and Karoly did the entire project in 4 weeks. Would definitely recommend them to everyone in the Tampa Bay Area. Karoly Windows and Doors was a great company to work with. My windows were very old and not efficient. I replaced them with double pane insulated low e glass windows. Karoly came over himself to talk to me about what I was looking for and gave me recommendations. He inspected all the work that was done himself to make sure I was satisfied. He took care of all the permits and finale inspection appointment. The inspector commented that Karoly Windows did a great job!! I had checked a few other prices online plus Home Depot and Lowe's, I found Karoly to be reasonably price and all the work was included. Karoly was very fair with working with me on the price and payment arrangements. He also explained all the paper work and forms for the rebates. All of his men were very nice, polite and prompt. They answered all my questions and explained exactly what they were doing. I would use Karoly again and would recommend them to friends.

We got several bids for window and door replacement. Karoly, the business owner, came and did his own quote and by the time he left our house he was ready to order the windows and doors. All of the others who bid the job indicated that we would need to send an installation crew back to the house to get final measurements (not convenient for us). In addition to offering us the best pricing, we liked that Karoly was the business owner and a part of the install crew and he proved to be incredibly thorough and detail oriented from the quote all the way through to showing us the features of our installed windows and doors. Karoly provided everything he promised for the price he promised and faster than the timeframe he promised. We have already recommended him to a family friend who used his services and had the same experience. It is worth noting that all of the window companies will quote you different windows. Some of them tried to sell us on non impact windows and some said that the brand of windows Karoly installed were inferior. We did a great deal of research before proceeding with Karoly and found that the windows he installed were high quality and came with a warranty, etc. Now that they are installed I can tell you they are beautiful and functional and we are not in any way disappointed with our purchase.

I couldn't be any happier with the experience I had with Karoly Windows and Doors. The installation was quick and pain-free, and the cost was excellent. I never had any trouble contacting Karoly when I had questions. If I had to leave a message he would always return my calls promptly. I will definitely be calling Karoly again when I am ready to have the rest of my windows replaced.

I worked with Karoly long distance from NY State by telephone & email to get an estimate for replacement windows for my mother-in-law’s house in Florida. He was very patient and accommodating by putting together and pricing out several combination window packages. Not being from Florida, I was also thankful for his advice concerning local codes and the requirement for either Impact windows or acceptable hurricane shutters to meet current local standards. We agreed on a combination of Impact and non-impact windows to adequately meet code. I arranged for installation at a future date when my wife and I would be in Florida. His crew of 3 arrived around 9:00 AM after a 2 1/2 – 3 hour drive from Tampa and certainly put in a full day of work. Each member of his crew seemed to have specific tasks and each attended to his work methodically and meticulously. The windows were installed with great care given to detail and workmanship. His crew finished the installation of 10 windows and subsequent cleanup sometime around 6:00 PM. All the old windows were removed from the premises. Karoly’s men were very courteous and professional and the finished work illustrates their attention to detail. I highly recommend Karoly Windows and Doors.

Everything went very smoothly, from the initial phone call to the estimate to the job itself. Karoly and his staff were easy to work with, and any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. While we were trying to decide the exact type of French doors we wanted, Karoly was helpful in supplying information and answering questions. The work was done on time and professionally, and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely use Karoly again and recommend him to others.

They were here on time with tree people and went right at it. Did seven windows the first day and four the second day. Condos are not easy to work as everything must be brought up the elevator and all the old windows down. I would recommend them for any window job. Well not the lowest price it was fair and the work quality.

This door replacement is something I have been needing to do for many years and finally got around to doing it! This house is now a rental and I'm out of state, so I don't have a photo yet, but my tenants say the new doors are a world of improvement, making the whole house much nicer. The bidding process: When you call Karoly's office, you speak with a friendly person, not a machine. By the time I had called them, I already spoke with a few companies, and had a few quotes. Karoly was very knowledgeable about the hurricane codes and filled me in. (There is a ratio of square inches of new glass to existing glass which determines whether or not impact resistant is required. For me, I would have been able to replace only 1 door with no permit and a cheaper door, but because I needed 2 doors, the code required "impact resistant" for the total replacement.) Some of the other companies simply were not meeting the hurricane codes with what they were bidding, which is a red flag for surprise costs later, so they got disqualified. With Karoly's bid, I had all the information up front, which put me a position to make the best decision. The actual work: I wasn't present during the installation. However, we scheduled it for a certain time and it was done during that time with no delays. This actually exceeded my expectations! The price/payment: Having gone over my expected price by almost double (due to code requirements), Karoly set up a financing option for a portion of it, which was very helpful and allowed me to get the doors I needed ASAP. The bottom line: Karoly made this process simple, and accessible. They operated with the highest regard for me and my tenants, in all aspects. Highly recommended!

the crew was very punctual and professional. they were able to finish our whole condo in one day and was able to install on the date we requested. We have recommended this company to others in our building and they have also contracted them to install their windows.

Karoly showed up to give us an estimate at the time a date he had promised. His price for the job was several hundred dollars less than another Angie's List door installer that we had called. His installer also came on the date and time expected and did a very efficient job installing the new door. He also cleaned up the area when he was finished. We were very pleased with our entire experience with Karoly and would certainly use him again.

The whole experience was excellent. The owner, office staff and installer were all helpful and polite. The installation was seamless and incredibly clean throughout the process. There was not a speck of dust when they left. They were helpful in coordination with the city inspection process and have a great warranty. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to anyone.

The men were prompt, courteous and professional. They did the entire job in one day, making sure to stay until I had checked every window and door, and answered all my questions without a trace of impatience. The windows are easy to operate - unlike windows I had replaced several years ago by a different vendor. In addition the inspector did not have to return the way he had to do with the first company I hired. He also commented on the high quality of my new windows. I am very pleased, and would recommend Karoly to anyone.
