😊. Honest - Inspector from that company came out several years ago and said I did not need a new roof . When I recently did get a new roof the service was consciousness and professional

I asked to meet with him. Before I spend $30k I would like to meet you and he came over. He's not the cheapest one around I guess. Quality, Looks real good to me. He had a guy that was suppose to come over and it took a couple days. Their professional, they knew what they were doin and did it in a professional manner.

The soffit crew were hit or miss on when they would show up. It took nearly 2 weeks for them to complete the work. I cannot complain about the job ad the house looks very nice now.

We had excellent experience with them. They offered a better product for the same price as everybody else. When you finally get hold of them, they show up. We just recommended them to my mom yesterday. They're a little hard to get hold of, their office staff is a little behind.

Do not use this company. No customer service, no follow through, excessive wood bill, sloppy workmanship. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Called June 8 to see about getting a leaking roof repaired. Was told someone would call back to set up an appointment. On June 10 I called again since no one called. I was told they were very busy, they had a record of my previous call, and they would submit my request again. Now two weeks have gone by, and no call.

I originally picked this company because they are GAF Elite roofers and they have a better warranty for not much more money. They also had good reviews via Angie's List. The estimator came out. I told him that I cannot go with dimensional shingles. He kept pushing and pushing. I told him no I needed 3 tab shingles because of the pitch of my roof. He told me "I don't know where you got your information from, but that is incorrect." He kept bringing up the dimensional shingles and did not understand why I wouldn't use them. After he did the measurements we went in the house. He said with 3 tabs he wanted to install self sticking, but then he said that would not work with gable vents and ridge vents that I would have to close the gable vents off. I asked him where did he think I was getting the money for that? He kept going back and forth that self stick would work, then they woudln't, then they would again. He said I needed insulation. The next after I talked with my insurance guy (per the estimator's request) about my discounts on secondary barrier and hurricane clips, I called the estimator back and he said he said I had eave vents, he had the wrong size on the sky light, and she said I needed a solar fan. He was going round and round, back and forth he was unorganized. I don't have eave vents. He did not like that I asked for clarification on where the hurricane clips would go. He insisted that I have eave vents and the self sticking would not work. He said that maybe he could make it work, but I would need a solar fan. We ended the call and I told him I was calling his boss. I called to talk to the president of the company on Tuesday, but he wasn?t there. I requested that he call back that night or on Thursday. The estimator called and left a message to apologize for the way he had spoken to me and that he was having a really bad day. The president called back Wednesday and left a message and said that it was a personality conflict. We are backed up and we don?t have another estimator and I suggest that you find another company to do the work. I called back and of course the president was not in the office again. I told the woman that I spoke to that this was not a personality conflict, because the estimator even called and apologized. I told her that I did not think it was very professional that Mr. Hogan called and left a message when I asked to speak with him personally.

It is now August and the roof leaks in that same spot. After speaking to someone at the company I was told that there is no warranty without a signed contract. So be aware that you need something in writing. Rest assured, I will not be using this company for my future roofing needs. I am disappointed that they do not stand behind their work, but lesson learned.

I received several estimates for my roof, theirs was more than reasonable. Their crew arrived soon after dawn & were done and gone within 7 hours. After having seen crews of 2 or 3 working on neighbors' roofs for several days in a row, the way this team worked was unbelievable! I must say my roof is one of the nicest in the neighborhood and they used a great, light-reflecting shingle that got me a tax rebate. It looks great and no leaks whatsoever. I'd recommend them to anyone. My only minor complaint is when I needed some copies of paperwork they were slow to get back to me & I needed to contact them a few times, but I have no issues with their work whatsoever.

Appointment for estimate was on time, informative and professional. Our quote was about mid range of the others. We checked 2 other companies. We requested fast installation due to insurance needs. Installation was done within 10 days. Friendly crew was on time daily and answered questions as needed. We went with peel n stick. Due to rain in forecast we were worried because shingles were not on yet. Company assured us that it was waterproof--sure enough no leaks. Next morning shingles were put on. Cleanup was exceptional. John Hogan set us up with an outside Wind Mitigation specialist who scheduled an appointment with us a few days later and submitted a photos and report to our insurance company as required within 2 days. Would recommend John Hogan Inc.

It was excellent. They were prompt and clean. He went up in the attic he found the leak and fixed it. I had another leak in the same area and he came out and fixed it for free. The clean up was also excellent. They went the extra mile. I've used them many years ago for a flat roof leak.

Most of the repairs were completed promptly and efficiently. The flat roof still had a leak, but the came right out and inspected it, and replace the flat roof repair at no additional charge. I am very satisfied with their service.

I was impressed with the timeliness of the repairs. I discovered an issue on Thursday night that required immediate attention. I called this company on Friday and they were out Saturday to estimate the cost. I had holes in my shingles and roofing board from the previous owner that required board and shingle replacement. Tristan and another worker sealed the holes as a courtesy to prevent further water damage. They were out by Monday to complete the job. The cost was fair per the materials and labor. Overall, a job well done.

Scheduling was easy and they were professional. However, the technician didn't deliver what was promised in the offer. They only looked at the roof and gave an estimate. They were supposed to do small repairs and caulk around the chimney and flue pipes. I got on the roof and confirmed that no work was done. Why would I pay the money for something they would have done for free?

Initial call and responsiveness to provide the estimate and perform the repair was good. But the time of when they said the repair would be fixed and when they got there (after repeated calls) needs to be improved. I know they are busy but if they make an appointment for you to be home, they should honor it. Repair was professional and to date no repeat leaks. That is the end result of a successful repair.

This project required a bit of coordination due to my travel schedule and the holidays. John worked with me throughout to ensure the work was completed during the available window. The crew showed up on time, worked quickly and neatly, and thoroughly cleaned up all debris.

Douglas Colwell was my estimator. He was very helpful in my decision to use John Hogan roofing. He is a asset to his company and I would recommend asking for him when you call for your estimate.

we had a very good experience with the quality and timeliness during the work.the crews showed up at 7am and worked till dark removing the tile,replacing bad wood,and putting on the underlayment which took 3 days.the new tile was deliverd the next week and took about a week to lay the tile,and do the cement work.they did a pretty good job of cleaning up daily but I followed up and took care of anything they missed.we had 2 screens damaged which they replaced right after the roof was done.we also had part of the driveway damaged and they also replaced that section within a week after the roof was done.i worked with Robert whittemore who was always availabile if I had questions,or concerns..John Hogan was at the site 3/4 times to check out the progress.they cover up scrubs,and air cond units but are a little rough on scrubs.i would highly recommend them,and they are not the cheapest but not the highest in price.

This crew worked like a well-oiled machine. They were very professional, very detail oriented, and polite and friendly. Any issues with the roof structure were explained, then repairs were very well executed. I was impressed. The salesman, Doug, followed up, was on site to make sure design and execution were coordinated. I'll recommend this company to anyone who needs roofing services. Can't wait for rain.

It went well they arrived as promised and did the job as quoted. With all the rains after the repair we noticed water coming down the chimney it wasnt anything to do with their repair as my ceiling stayed dry!!!! Overall very pleased and wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

The work was excellent. They showed up on time and completed the job in one day. Cleanup was excellent and we've not found even one roofing nail on the ground. They installed hurricanes clips as agreed upon and provided me with a free wind-mitigation study to submit to my home owners' insurance carrier for a discount. Payment was made after the job was completed and was made in whole with no down payment requested. There has been excellent follow up with a phone call from the company owner as well as from the salesman. I own 3 other houses and will use John Hogan, Inc. for any roofing repairs or replacements in the future.

The sales person Doug Colwell was very helpful and patient. He was even willing to drive to houses that we said we liked their roof so that he could find out what kind of shingle was on it for us. The crew was excellent and very hard working. From the time we agreed to hire them to the start date was only one day. They did everything that they said they would do and we love the new roof. I am a real estate Broker and I have renovated a good number of homes as well as experienced lots of roofers and roof inspections. This company is among the best and I recommend them highly.
