He also had to remove random damaged tiles without causing more damage to the surrounding glass tiles... He's knowledgeable, nice, very respectful, trustworthy, clean, and thorough. Thanks for the help, Scott!!
Description of Work: -Removed all grout from recently installed custom glass tile shower (the original grout was mixed incorrectly by another contractor and experienced shrinkage cracks). -Removed and replaced misc. damaged glass tiles. -Re-grouted entire shower with epoxy grout.

He made a judicious assessment of the extent of the problem with our master shower and, instead of simply stating that it all needed to be torn out and completely re-done, he thoroughly examined the tile and back wall of master shower and said that it was still in good shape and could simply be repaired. The estimate that he provided was what we paid him after the work was professionally completed.
Description of Work: Re-caulked and re-grouted master shower, re-caulked guest room shower, repaired caulking on vanity in master and guest room and repaired several corners and edges on floor tile on main floor.

+ -1 moreWe then hired Scott to return to clean our tile and to replace that particular tile and to fix our marble medallion which had been damaged by a cleaning crew. We scheduled for the following Monday. Sunday nite I called Scott to confirm and he said he was ill. Thus we reschedule for the following Monday, today, August 5. We called twice yesterday, Sunday the 4th. with no response. I sent an email and we phoned today and still no reply. Our neighbors have used GroutMaster with success but, we intend to send a community wide email to let everyone know of the lack of professionalism and courtesy we experienced. His usual minimum trip charge is $200.00 but, he cut us a bargain when he hired him to return. At that $100.00 to repair one tile is excessive. Where was the bargain if a company doesn't fulfill it's commitment to the consumer. There is no excuse for a no reply! We are happy to be members of Angie's List and have never had a disappointment such as this.
Description of Work: Patched one tile for $100.00.

Description of Work: Scott cleaned, polished and sealed all of our marble. This included a large foyer area as well as five bathrooms. He also color sealed our grout lines in the foyer and they look beautiful. In addition, we have four granite counter tops and he cleaned and sealed them as well.

Description of Work: I called Grout Master and spoke with Scott after receiving notice from our mortgage refinance company that we needed to have our home appraised within 48 hours. Some of the grout had just begun to fall out within the previous 4 weeks and we needed to move fast to repair the shower and have it ready for the appraisal. Scott was able to come over and estimate the job for us within a few hours and able to begin the work within 2 days. I put off the appraisal one day and Scott was able to acid wash and repair areas of grout in the shower that needed it and have it looking great by the time of the appraisal. After the appraisal, he came back and sealed the grout the right way so that the problem would not reoccur in the near future. He also educated us about how to clean the new grout so that we could take better care of our shower for the future. We so appreciated his understanding of our situation, the speed with which he estimated the job, the fact that he did what was needed for a reasonable price and in a very timely fashion. We would definitely hire Scott and Grout Master again and plan to do more work with him in the future to make cosmetic improvements and upgrades to 3 of our bathrooms in the future.

HE DID A GREAT JOB OF DOING THAT WORK AS WELL AS THE UNEXPECTED REPLACEMENT OF TILE INSTALLED OVER OLD TILE. RECOMMENDED A $25 CORNER SHELF WHICH IS VERY HANDY AND LOOKS GREAT. OVERALL, A SUPERB JOB!
Description of Work: REGROUTED ALL TILE AROUND THE TUB, REPLACED 30 TILES THAT WERE INCORRECTLY INSTALLED BY PRIOR OWNER, CLEANED SHOWER DOORS AND FAUCETS, RECAULKED TUB.
