Diana Murray (at the office), Bill (the sales rep. and estimator) and ?? (the installer) were all very helpful and professional. I was especially impressed that when I gave Diana my address, she was able to tell me almost instantly what make and model of garage door and opener I had, even though it was installed a quarter of a century and several owners ago. The installer arrived on time and took exactly as long as he and the estimator had told me the job would take. The only drawback was that, like everyone else, I decided in August that I wanted a new garage door in time for the height of the hurricane season. That's this company's peak period, so the earliest they were able to install the door was about five weeks later.

Diana is the main contact and she is wonderful to deal with; very professional and friendly and very responsive to questions. The initial estimate was handled very well. My scores are based on the second installer and how professionally Genie fixed the problems from the first installer. Based on the initial installer I would give "quality of work" D and "professionalism" C. The first installer spent several hours in the garage installing the door and the opener. He had a cigarette in his mouth the entire time and loud music blaring from his truck. He did make sure I understood how the automatic opener worked before he left. I was satisfied because the work was done and he did make sure I understood the opener. Later that night we noticed that the door was hung crooked. We even asked neighbors and they saw it too, it was definitely crooked! I called Diana the next day and she was very apologetic and scheduled someone else to come out. The next day a new installer came to the house and agreed, it was crooked. We were impressed that he took responsibility for the poor quality of the initial job. He spent a few hours working on the door and the brackets and fixed it perfectly. He also made sure we understood how the door and automatic opener worked. I later received a call from Diana to make sure it was resolved properly. We were very happy with the professional attitude and excellent customer service that Genie of Clearwater showed in fixing our initial problems, so despite the first installer we give them an "A" overall.

Overall, excellent. From the office to the actual service provider...excellent. I needed an early morning appointment and got it the very next day. I was called in the morning to notify me of the time. The provider arrived on time and did the service quickly, correctly, and professionally. The office had given me an estimate over the phone. This was done by asking me questions. The estimate,by phone, was right on. The garage works better, more smoothly and quieter. I would use this company again.

They did a real good job and the guy knew what he was doing.

This is an outstanding company. The level of customer service is exceptional from start to finish. Each person I spoke to was professional, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Diana is at the home office. She is a joy to work with and assisted me every step of the way (we were utilizing the "My Safe Florida Home" program). Bill gave us an estimate. We had a couple of other companies give us estimates for this job but each one sent out a "salesman" that tried to sell us every upgrade and openers etc. When I asked Bill if we should change our opener, he said, "Why would you do that? It is relatively new and if it can work on this old door it will be fine with the new one." We were sold right then and there. I was so pleased that I wasn't getting the salesman song and dance. Joe came out as scheduled and replaced the door. He was thorough and did a beautiful job. Top notch company. I highly recommend them. A+.

They were very good, punctual, and reasonably priced.

Awesome work! Even changed light bulb (I provided) and sold me new batteries for my openers. Didn't leave till it was perfect. All work done within 45 minutes! Company called to confirm and again just before he arrived. Quick, efficient, courteous and knew his business. I would definitely call them again.

Installer showed up on time and went into some detail about the work to be done and the estimated time to complete the job. Obviously skilled and knowledgeable about properly installing the heavily reinforced garage door. Not only provided two new remote sets to match new garage door opener, but also reprogrammed old remotes to operate the new door. All elements of the system work well. Certainly pleased with outcome. Was a minor amount of damage to surrounding stucco during tear out of old door. Easily repaired with stucco patch and caulk by homeowner.

Sales person was very personable and arrived on time. He made suggestions and recommendations and promptly scheduled the installation of our new garage door opener. The installer arrived on time, gave me an estimate of how long it would take him to finish and cleaned up when he was done. He took extra time to show me how to program the opener into my vehicle and explained all of the safety features. This is the third time I have dealt with Genie of Clearwater and will continue to call them (and recommend them) for all garage door needs. They are a fantastic group of people, from everyone on the phone to everyone who has been to my garages!!!

They called back promptly and showed up on time that almost automatically gets a company at least a ''B'' from my previous experiences with other firms. Jeff did a great job fixing the unit, was fast and clean, and very friendly and professionally. We will definitely be using them again if the need arises.

They showed up on time, they explained what they were doing. They finished within 4 hours, which is how long they said it would take. It was a very good experience, no trouble at all.

I was not home at time of appointment. I gave them the code to my opener and they worked on it while I was at work. It was nice not having to take a day off of work. When I got home the door worked and sounded better that it had since I bought the house 2 years ago. Very happy with my experience.

Job 1: Very friendly, eager to help. Phone representative walked me through how I could fix my garage door easily. I've never used this company, but will definitely call them for garage door repairs as they were willing to give advice out free over the phone! Job 2: Initially came out on a service call as our existing door opener was not working at all. They gave us a couple of options: either repair existing opener or replace. It seemed more feasible to replace so we set up a time to have them come out and replace the opener. Because we purchased a new opener we were not charged for the initial service call. On the day scheduled to install the service technician arrived on time and finished the job easily within 1-1/2 hours. He explained the opener to me and gave me a thank you from the company with a phone # if I had any questions. They made it very easy to do business with them!

Work was done on time and efficiently. The company kept me informed about time for installation. Workers were pleasant and polite.

WHEN I CALLED DIANNA IN THE MORNING, SHE WAS TO CALL ME AT 9:00 AM. SHE NEVER CALLED UNTIL 4:30. SHE WAS TOO BUSY TO TAKE MY MONEY FOR THE UPGRADE AND DEPOSIT. SHE CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE WHEN I ASKED HER TO CALL ME ON MY BUSINESS PHONE, TELLING ME HOW MUCH THE COST WAS WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE WITH THE PREVIOUS DAY, BILL WAS FANTASTIC AN A+ IN PROFESSIONALISM. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE FINE.
