A loose piece of decorative molding fell off my garage, leaving an exposed nail which grabbed my garage door while I was raising it. I was unable to manually move the door and the motor was unable to budge it. Genie arrived 2 hours after I called them, which was right on time. The very nice serviceman freed the garage door from the nail and then removed the nail, then replaced my trim with new nails. He sprayed silicone spray on the all the moving parts, and it was as good as new. I was charged only for the service call, nothing extra- not for the nails, spray, time here (10-15 minutes), and he thankfully didn't try to sell me anything. I will be calling Genie first when I need garage door repair. Great employee!

Both of my remotes were on last legs and I had requested tech bring 2 replacements, which he did. Remotes and door now work perfectly, smoothly and quietly! No question I would call Genie again in the future for any garage door issues.

I woke up to find that I couldn't open my garage door. My husband and I were able to get it open and get the cars out of the garage then I called Genie and left a message asking if they could make it out the same day. The office called me back as soon as they opened and the woman was super nice! They were able to come out that afternoon and when I got home my garage door was working great just like she promised! They had to replace both springs and make some adjustments. No fuss, no muss, they left the bill in the door and I called and paid it with my credit card.

We had a lightning strike that was keeping our garage door from opening. The office was very nice and easy to work with. Genie of Clearwater came out, had the parts with them, and replaced them for a VERY reasonable price. The serviceman was very knowledgeable and nice. After my experience with Precision, I am so glad I found them. I make sure to let my friends know about them when I have the chance. After so many mediocre and bad experiences, it was so nice to have a company that was good and charged a fair price.

Excellent service and a terrific experience all the way around. Sunday evening my garage door broke with my car inside. Although I released the emergency handle, it was almost impossible to lift the door by myself. I called Genie Monday morning around 7:30am and left a message. They returned the call within 15 minutes, asked what was wrong and said they would call when they had an idea of the time-frame. Diana called back at 8:30 and said I would be the second stop for the repair person. She called again at 9:15, saying he would be here in 20 minutes. Jeff arrived as promised, completed the repair and was very friendly and helpful. He suggested replacing both springs and I agreed. He also made note of mount that was not fastened correctly and repaired that too. This is how all business transactions should be handled. Say what you are going to do and then do it! Thanks all.

Called Genie because I though garage door was broken. It just needed adjustment...checked everything out, oiled and such and it was done. Very efficient.

The technician arrived within the window and immediately began to work. Everything was done in a timely, professional manner. The problem which instigated the call, all maintenance and installation of the keyless entry was accomplished in less than one hour. Jeff was highly professional and I would not hesitate to call this company in the future.

They came out the next day after I called. The bracket that connects the garage door to the overhead opener ripped out of the door. It was replaced with a stronger bracket. It was determined that the springs were not adjusted correctly and that is what caused the problem. I also asked them to replace my metal rollers with PVC rollers. You can hardly hear the door open now. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

Our garage door was no longer opening properly so I called Genie of Clearwater to take a look at the problem. They could not have been more professional and friendly. They arranged for someone to come out the very next day. I received a call in the morning to set up the window of time when they would be here, and another call just before they arrived (on time). They quickly discovered the problem, replaced the broken part, then made other adjustments to the spring, oiled other parts, and had it working perfectly within 30 minutes. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend them to anyone having issues with a garage door.

Excellent service. I think they are efficient. They are curteous and do good work. They call and let you know when they are coming. I think it is really great work.

The service tech came the next day, right on time, and promptly diagnosed the problem as repairable. Within half an hour my garage door was repaired beyond my expectations for just $65. The tech's name was Bill, a very professional and very pleasant, personable fellow. He didn't seem to mind me being there asking annoying questions about garage doors in general. I was very pleased and quite impressed with the whole experience. I got a follow up call a few days later to make sure that I was pleased with the work. That does not happen very often. I highly recommend this company.

I called Monday morning and was informed that a technician would arrive at the time I would be available. The technician arrived on time.and talked about two possibilities. One was to repair the opener, the other was to replace it. I chose to replace it as it was over 22 years old. So I was given a quote and a time was arragned to do the work on Tuesday. On Tuesday a technician arrived on time and replaced the opener. He went over all the operating procedures and warned about mistakes that could happen and how the take care of then so as to save the cost of service calls. The technician was very professional and cleaned up the work area. I paid exactly the quoted price. Very pleased with the total operation.

It was a very good experience. They did not try to upsell us. The service guy was very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall, they were real good. They were able to use the mechanism for the motorized lifting part that I already had without upselling me on a new one.

I called the night before after hours and Genie called me back early the next day and had someout out before noon that same day. The total repair only took about 35 minutes and the workman was very courteous. It could not have gone more smoothly. Great job Genie of Clearwater!

We had a spring break on our dual-car garage on Sunday night. I called Genie first thing on Monday morning and was told they could have someone out on Tuesday. I received a call Monday afternoon that the tech could come that day and could be at my house in 20 minutes. Dave, the technician, came out and recommended replacing both springs, which we did. He was prompt, professional and QUICK! He had our garage door fixed in under an hour. I had called Overhead Doors the same morning and was quoted about $50 more than what Genie charged me. I highly recommend Genie and will use them again if I need work on our garage door in the future.

Diana and Dave were absolutely awsome. Dave assessed the problem and provided us with our options; he then expedited and performed the installation. He did great work; days later another person commented on the quietness and smooth operation of our new garage door. Diana is a jem. She kept us informed as to the schedule including Dave's estimated arrival time, not in hours but within minutes! She made us feel that she was available if needed. It was a very pleasant experience. We will absolutely call them if needed in the future.

The telephone conversation regarding the service was outstanding and I knew exactly what would take place prior to the service. The repair was prompt and courteous. The repair was done and the cost was exactly what was discussed over the phone. This company is outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our garage door opener would run, but it wouldn't open. We called Genie of Clearwater. They came out that day and fixed several small issues and got the opener working again. It runs so much smoother and quieter now.
