They did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody. They were extremely professional. They were very courteous and kind. They are very personable. I would defiantly use them in the future.

Outstanding Customer Service. Very rare for a contractor in Florida. The entire process was seemless. From the estimate, the measurements to the final install. Rick, the owner showed up on all appointments, including the install. His associate, Rubin has worked with Rick for 18 years. They made the install very pleasing. From the humor during the 2 1/2 hour install, to the clean up of old debris and window covering. They even spackled the holes in the walls from the old window covering. I wish I had more windows to cover, I would recommend Rick from Florida Shutters & Blinds to anyone.

They put the blinds in exactly the way I wanted it. He was sure to place them exactly where I wanted it. He has a great personality and a lot of patience. Very easy to work with.

We discovered that the type they carry did not fit with my vision for the window. Rick was wonderfully helpful and made suggestions about where I could go to get what I wanted. He even called back a few days later to see if I had had any luck and made an additional suggestion. I wish I could have done business with them.

The driver was going to pick up the shade, take it to Hunter Douglas for repair and return it but upon taking it to his truck, realized that he had a cord in the truck. He repaired the blind and brought it back in and reinstalled it. I was thrilled because it was a black-out shade that's in my bedroom!

All of the job went very well, from the initial sales call to the installation. We will do more business with this company in the near future.

I personally will not use anyone else to install, purchase or to service our home for any of the items Florida Shutters & Blinds offers.

The owner of the company, Rick Degolyer, came to our home to give us an estimate and get measurements, on 7/13/07, he showed up promptly as scheduled. Rick was very pleasant and easy to work with. He gave us several options and the estimate. We decided to go with his company. He said the order would take about 3 weeks or so which was right on target. The shades were installed last Tuesday 8/14 and they look great. The installer was also prompt, very pleasant and professional, completed the entire job in about 2 hours. The shades make the entire interior of the house look so much better. We chose the Hunter Douglas brand which may have been a little more expensive but appears to be of a high quality.

Called and Rick came next day to do estimate and then measured the windows. I had 3 bedroom windows done at that time. We were so pleased with the work and the company that we had the rest of the windows done with plantation shutters. A few months later we had wooden blinds done in the living room and entry way. Can't say enough about how pleasant it is to do business with this company. They are small enough that they remember you when you call. Staff is very professional, prompt, does a wonderful job. Rueben, who installed the wooden blinds came to install blinds and could not complete the job because we were waiting on some windows. He said to call when ready. Twelve weeks later he was out the next day to complete the work. They have done the whole house and we are very pleased with the work and the shutters.

Rick came to my home in the evening for a free estimate. I was given a price for 2 large windows and my side light next to the front door. A few days later I decided to go with his estimate based on high recommendations from other customers. The shutters arrived as promised in the time specified. The gentlemen who installed them were courteous and professional. They even vacuumed up the dust after installation! My shutters are beautiful! The small side light shutter is awesome, I can't believe they could make one 12 inches wide! I am now planning to have Rick order my upstairs windows!

Rick gave an estimate for this project but was very very helpful in types of products, color choices (even matching the correct shade of white), shutter styles, and etc. The 2-inch blind arrived and was installed in approximately 1 week. Rick communicated with us and kept us informed of status while we were awaiting completion of the shutters. The wood shutters were special ordered and required an arc shutter along the top and we ordered a few other upgraded features. The installation of the shutters was quick and very professional and they did not leave behind any mess. The shutters are BEAUTIFUL! They are better than we even expected. The staff at Florida Shutters and Blinds are terrific! We already have another project that we will be calling Rick for in the near future!!

Excellent. Although we had to change the installation date a couple of times, they worked to accommodate my schedule graciously and even offered an additional $100 discount when they had to change the date the second time. I highly recommend their service and product.

Rick, the owner came to the house and gave us the estimate. He had a wide variety of choices and knew exactly the material I wanted when I explained what I was looking for. He also had some great choices for verticals, not only colors, but different textures and even an s shape, which gives the illusion of draperies when they are shut. The installers were prompt, courteous and professional. The owners followed up to make sure we were happy with the job and our overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend them.

This company helped resolve an issue that I had with my blinds. I purchased these window treatments from another vendor who refused to assist me with repairs. In addition, they did not charge me and honored my warranty. I highly recommend Florida Shutters & Blinds.

Salesman (I think the owner) and installers - incredibly professional and clean. There was a problem with one of the blinds noticed after installation - they dealt with it without the smallest hassle.

They came to see if an older 9 foot wide blind could be repaired. They agreed that it was repairable under the manufacturer's warranty. They are very knowledgeable and have contacts with the manufacturer reps. They picked up the blind, had the manufacturer pick it up from their shop for repair, and returned the blind to us with new cords, tilter and new brackets. They were pleasant to deal with and kept us informed of the time it would take to repair. The whole process took less than 2 weeks.
