Description of Work: I hired them to clean out by dryer vent.

Description of Work: They were to remove batts of insulation & replace with blown insulation because of a family of 4 raccoons that had been removed & left behind feces. I was told to do this by the pest service that removed the racoons for health reasons. Florida Energy Air arrived almost 2 hours late from the scheduled time they had told me, brought faulty equipment to suck out the old insulation (when I kept telling them that I had batts not blown), in the process of removing the old insulation one of the men fell through the ceiling between the master bedroom & bathroom, and because of the repeated up & down on my folding attic ladder by 4 workers removing the insulation, it broke, & I had to incur that cost to replace, instead of them using their own ladder. After the worker fell through the ceiling, they left me with this hole & no insulation & said they would return the following day to finish. Mind you this is August in Florida. I called Florida Energy Air, in tears, & spoke with a Marie & told her what transpired. Marie did take hold of the situation, had the men return, had one of them fix the hole and they finished the job the following day. My experience with Florida Energy Air was not pleasant, needless to say; I paid handsomely for this project & expected at least some skill. It was a nightmare!!! I told Marie I did not want one of the workers to return. He acted as though he were on drugs, but Marie said he was on some type of medication. A company is only as good as the people that work for them.

Description of Work: They spent a lot of time explaining the process of sink hole repair.

Description of Work: I gave up trying to deal with this company, they had inane reasons for not admitting that they did not clear the drain from the air conditioner which caused a flood approx 3 months later. I asked them to pay the $1,000.00 deductible as my insurance paid all other expenses. My Condo Assoc & the repair Co. said the line was plugged and saw no signs of a recent service I want to thank Regina Houchens at Angies for all her help in trying to negotiate a settlement with Florida Energy Air Conditioning . Description of Work: Fixed my air conditioner

Description of Work: My A/C died and the temperature rose to 80 degrees quickly. I called Florida Energy and Cary answered my call right away. I explained that my system was not working; I had checked the circuit breaker and it was fine. He had me go to the air handler and remove the T-Switch and the system came on immediately. He then told me to boil water and pour it through the T-Switch and also into the run-off line which I did. The system worked fine for the rest of the night and Cary even called me back about 30 minutes later to ensure everything was working fine. He scheduled an appointment during the first phone call for the next day, Sunday and reconfirmed on his callback. Cary called me about 45 minutes before he came on Sunday morning to ensure I was ready for his visit. He cleaned my system, educated me on the type of filter I "should" have been using; cleaned out the T-Switch and run-off line and thoroughly cleaned the entire system inside the house and checked the compressor outside the house.
