 + -1 moreExcellent appliance store for Tampa Bay area. Many locations, we chose Clearwater store. Met Steve Klinger on our 1st visit to just look around. He is very professional and knows all the manufacturers and products. Very laid back, not high pressure which made our experience very pleasant. We ended up buying a washer and refrigerator with full installation. They are both in stock and washer arrived a few days later, easy install. Highly recommend this store group. They remind me of ABT from the Chicago metro area. Well run, managed and great prices.

 + -1 moreAfter my 3rd call I Waited 24 hours and never heard from Salesman Tom. So I called one more time. Left message for a call back and 48 hours later still no call. I just went to Home Depot and bought the exact same product for $139 less PLUS Home Depot only charges $19.99 to install the gas and Famous Tate was going to charge me $145! Also Famous Tate charges delivery fee and Home Depot doesn't. So not only was the service better, and I was treated like a valued customer, but I saved a significant amount of money as well! Very disappointed in Famous Tate and will not be giving them any more of my business.
Description of Work: Purchased refrigerator, gas range, microwave, and dishwasher. The appliances were fine. No problems with those. To say my salesman in the Clearwater store, Tom, was unresponsive is an understatement. I contacted him to change an order from a freestanding gas range to a slide in range. (This included a price increase of DOUBLE!) I didn't mind that at all. What I did mind is that it took me two calls to reach him. He didn't respond to my request to call me back. When I did talk to him he told me he was busy and would get right back to me. Waited 24 hours and never heard from him. So I called one more time. Left message for a call back and 48 hours later still no call.
