Getting quotes, ready to proceed with project immediately.. They were referred and recommended by Modernize and contacted me requesting opportunity to quote on project. Made appointment but never showed up, no call ,,, nothinfg.

I do not recommend doing business with this company. The person who sold me the system claimed to be one of the owners. He repeatedly promised me the system would be installed and up and running by Dec 31 2016. It is now the beginning of March and the system is still not running. On December 27, I contacted the company and they told me everything was going on schedule and the system would be done by Dec 31. Eventually when the solar panels were being installed on my roof, I looked at the building permit. The plans were submitted to the city on Dec 30. I don’t know why the owner of the company blatantly lied to me. Part of the package I purchased included a heat shield in my attic. A section of the shield was falling down when I checked it approximately one month after it was installed. The solar system failed the first electrical inspection. The inspector for the city told me the installation missed a main shut off, a conduit in my attic was not supported properly and a conduit on my roof was not braced properly. Once the repair work to the system was done. I did not hear from the city for a follow-up inspection. I called the city after about one week and was told the paperwork for the re-inspection was not submitted. I contacted EHS and they eventually got the proper paperwork submitted. After the solar system passed all inspection, EHS was suppose to schedule the installation of a new meter that is installed by my electric supplier, Duke energy. EHS told me they submitted all the paperwork. I waited approximately two weeks for Duke to contact me to coordinate the date for the installation. I called Duke Energy and was told the paperwork was never submitted. While all this was going on, EHS contacted me twice asking for final payment for the system. This process was supposed to be done by experts who do this work all the time. It was suppose to be a turn-key process. If I had not contacted the city and Duke Energy, who knows how long it would have taken. My impression of the company is they are a group of amateurs trying to figure out how to do the work while lying to me. Unfortunately I don’t even know if the system works since it still has not been turned on.
