Description of Work: built and installed two kitchen cabinets

Description of Work: We just finished having Designer Wood Concepts design and build new cabinets for our bathroom. Previously we had our old cabinets refaced but the old cabinets fell apart. We called Slawek to come out and measure the job. We talked to several companies who were certainly able to supply prebuilt cabinets made somewhere out of state but the couldn't solve our problem which included building a custom medicine cabinet to fit into a window well at the end of our small bathroom. The DWC not only built our cabinets from scratch with real wood in one week but installed our project happily for us. We felt a sense of real joy and pride from these old world craftsmen who loved their work. We are so happy we called them. We thought the price was more than fair and the result was better than we ever dreamed. When the granite top and plumbing is done later ( perhaps next week) we will post a picture

Description of Work: Designer Wood Concepts designed and built a new bathroom vanity for my daughter. This is her report:"I had selected a sink that I wanted and they designed a vanity to fit the sink and maximize the storage capacity for my small bathroom. (I had a useless pedestal sink! They made the doors to exactly match the doors on my other upper wall cabinets. The vanity is exactly as they specified in their design and constructed of strong plywood sides and bottom and solid wood doors, finished in a bright white to exactly match the white of the other cabinets. 100% superior quality to the mdf and woodchip construction of mass market cabinets I had looked at. Fits the space exactly."

Description of Work: These guys are excellent. They came in, measurred everything,designed it on the computer in 3D. After my approval they built it and delivered in time aloted. I was very happy with the final outcome.

Description of Work: Built three bookcases, two closet shelves, a coffee table, a corner desk, a balcony table set, and a pantry.

Description of Work: The first project Designer Wood Concepts did a couple of years ago for me was they built all new cabinets for my kitchen. I have a small kitchen and they made maximum use of the space, using specialized hardware and precise design to give me storage that would have been dead space if i had used a standard pre-made cabinet brand. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful - bird's eye maple cabinet fronts, solid construction throughout. Since then we have become frequent customers: they have done a variety of projects for members of my family. An elegant fireplace mantle for my Mom's home; new (replacement) butcher block counter for my Mom's kitchen - replacing a worn out tile counter-top without disturbing the surrounding adjacent surfaces/cabinets; custom closet work for Mom's master bedroom and also kitchen pantry; beautiful privacy trellis in her back garden; new wooden steps and wood panel replacement in the master bathroom.
