Denis is the consummate craftsman. He completely restored a very scratched solid teak dining room table with two leaves, and a matching credenza that had been in our family for over 50 years, and had been moved around the country multiple times. He sanded both pieces down, primed, stained, and added multiple coats of clear coat. He repaired and reinforced the wood braces underneath the table where the leaves are stored and made all of the drawers on the credenza open and shut smoothly. And he also threw in, at no charge, repairing a leg that had broken off of another teak credenza . The refinished pieces look absolutely brand new. Even better than new. They shine beautifully, the natural wood grain has been restored, and all of the scratches are completely gone. He and his Dad picked up and delivered the pieces as well, and had the whole thing done in a little over a week. Moreover we had priced this project with several others and found his charge to be VERY reasonable, and his personality very friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend Denis and his careful, detailed craftsmanship.

Denis of Denis' Repair, Refinishing & Restoration is a highly skilled artisan and a perfectionist. His skills in refinishing and restoring wood furniture are truly exceptional. Denis refinished my black dining table and Hollywood Regency dining chairs that are black with gold detailing. The results were extraordinary and I am so pleased with them. He also restored a vintage Henredon pecan coffee table that had a few veneer losses and an old cigarette burn on the surface. It now looks perfect--with no evidence that any work was done to it. I plan to call upon Denis for a couple of other jobs in the future. His work is exceptional.

Dennis was extremely reliable professional and performed High quality workmanship. We had other contractors sihy away from this job due to the damage done to the doors by our dog. we are exceptionally pleased. We were also happy with the time that it took to complete the job. The pricing was extremely fair given the amount of labor and return trips for the stain and varnish to try. Dennis also Is a very skilled artisan and very talented carpenter with special talent in plaster, furniture restoration and painting of murals.
