I am a local licensed contractor and have been using Daniels for quite some time. I have two very high-end condo jobs that were supposed to installed at the end of December last year. They are still both not done. There were side panels incorrectly measured to accessories of the doors that were wrong. They are now saying another two weeks. I would suggest to any and all to stay away from ordering any glass shower doors from them.

Fantastic. They showed up right on time and the crew was incredible they insulated the entire house in one day. I will use them on all my jobs.

contacted Duke for "credit" and status of current insulation and square footage June from Daniel helped to figure out that as 2 story house - total square footage not as high as Duke estimate Technician when done contacted the company due to areas that were unaccessible due to how the house was constructed and the price dropped even further. From start to finish, this company was amazing. From the first phone call to schedule an estimate, to the final result, everything went so smooth. Bob from Daniel Insulation came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. He was on time and beat the price quoted to me to me by another company. Our home had been vacant for five years and the attic had been infested with rats. Bob assured me that they could take care of this mess and they scheduled us as an emergency call, within two days, as our roof was being replaced. Miguel and Juan were on time and got to work immediately. After several hours of working straight through, I thought they were almost done. They then brought out the big guns, a very high powered vacuum. The used this in the attic for over an hour. Te work they did was amazing! They got rid of the horrible odor and the air quality is so much better! I can't say enough about this company! As soon as we have our AC unit replaced and the electric rewired, we will be using them, without question, to replace the insulation. I can't thank them enough for a hassle free experience!

I hired them to install insulation in the attic after an inspection by TECO. The TECO paperwork stated my house was 900 sq ft. The tax record shows 992, however, according to the installers, they were only to cover 600 sq ft. The attic only had R18 installed. Therefore, there should have been enough installed to bring the insulation up to R30. I was told there would be an 8 hour window for them to arrive. They were suppose to call 30 minutes prior to arriving. They called as they drove up, then drove away, then came back, told me the office gave them the wrong address, then the story changed to their GPS wasn't working, then it changed again to the apartment number wasn't on paperwork. Anyway, they arrived. They would not take time to answer questions. I was told by the office personnel that I could have additional insulation installed if I wanted. All I had to do was have the guys look at the attic and discuss what additional could be done. These guys wouldn't give me the time to ask anything. They only installed enough for 600 sq ft which certainly doesn't cover 900+ sq ft. I told them to go back up and finish the job. They told me they wouldn't have enough insulation to finish the rest of the jobs for the day. Are you kidding me? I looked at the paperwork before signing. The address was correct. The sq ft stated was 900. At this point all I wanted was these guys out of my house. I wrote a note to TECO as well about their unprofessional manner and not applying the needed insulation. Just for the record...... I've had Daniel Insulation do work on 2 other houses I've owned in the area and they were fantastic. I believe it was just these two workers, however that shows unfavorably to the company. I don't know if they get paid by the job or the hour but being rude and incomplete with their work is not acceptable to me......

The "Contact Us" page on Daniel Insulation's webpage says: Please fill out the following form to learn more about our services and we will contact you within one business day. I filled out the form and never received a call back. I also called them and they have yet to return my call. I will take my business elsewhere!

For the radiant barrier he was much more experienced and knowledgeable than most of the other people I talked to. The owner of the company was there for the job, he helped and worked with his employees to make sure that it was done correctly. I decided to go with them because I had called several companies and he impressed me over the phone in the way he communicated his knowledge about what had to be done.

It didn't go. I spent hours reading reviews and looking at websites looking for a company that could foam in insulation into my 1920s lathe and plaster walls. I filled out all of the information requested on their website going into specific detail about my home's structure. When I tried to submit the form their site crashed. This happened four times. So I tried calling. No one answers their phones. Totally unprofessional. Would never use them.

They were great and were referred by the electric company. I had an electric company rebate so I got back the $200 charge. They were very professional and clean. They also were done on time and got the job done quickly.

We never heard back and so then we didn't move forward with the work.

i don't have time to chase these people down and was going to give up but remembered that angies list might get some help or savae someone else from them. you will have to check and double check their work. they promise everything at the sale but the crew doesn't follow the promises. this job was useless!!!

They were punctual, they did a great job, and the price was great. I found them on Angie's List. I can tell the quality from the house, it is not getting cold like it would get before, it is warmer.

They were on time, receptive,professional and timely. The job took less than estimated and was done very well

They are on provider list Duke Energy left after doing an energy audit at my house. I had to call the company 4 times, they stated they had lost my information two times. The last time they said they dont make appointments, I would have to speak to the estimater/quote person himself, Bob D. I texted Bob D. at his request 3 times and called Bob D. twice to setup an appointment. Even after Bob D. made the appointment, after my 2nd call, he was a no show. No call or anything.....

The two man crew arrived on time. and inspected my home. I had one difficult area near a cathedral ceiling that I was concerned about. The job leader told me he would make sure the heavily sloped ceiling would get enough insulation and that it would stay in place once applied. They went to work and had the job completed in short order. With the exception of a few small tufts of insulation that blew in through light fixtures, you really could tell they had ever been there. I climbed up into the ceiling access hole to get a peak at my sloped ceiling and sure enough it was completely filled with insulation. Great work.

I was disappointed to not get a call back.

I called Daniel's because they were on the list provided by Duke Energy. I was a little concerned because of the F ratings but still the overall score on Angie's List was good so I thought I would give them a shot. First of all the salesman Bob tried to talk me into things like duct work repair. Now I say, "talk me into" because just three days before I had some in my attic that specialized in AC duct work and he told me I had no problems or concerns. So, I asked to go up into the attic with him so I could see exactly what he thought the problems were. He seemed shocked but agreed. Quickly he changed his tune and told me I really didn't need several of the things he had recommended previously. That should have been a red flag but I decided to go on with the work. We booked a date, a few days later he called and asked me what date we had booked. Really? You don't know what date my work is to be done. I told him again and he said he put it down. He said they had me down on two different dates. I then spoke the office and explained I needed the work done by a certain time because of a business meeting - they were suppose to be to my house in the afternoon (I didn't have to leave until 5:30). She assured me this wouldn't be a problem. The day they were suppose to arrive, they didn't! I called to check in and she told me she would have the service guy call me. When he called (at 330pm) it was to tell me it would be over an hour before they could be here! So, needless to say I had to cancel. I am deeply deeply disappointed with the customer service provided by this company. Update: The owner called me back - quickly trying to make the above right. He offered to discount the price slightly and upgrade my insulation amount. I explained that part of why I was so upset was because that day was the only business day I had off for many weeks secondary to my work. He asked if his crew could come out first thing in the morning (7am) and do the work. They arrived promptly and did the job professionally - including capping 9 recessed lights. Despite the previous issues - Daniels did a good job of installing the insulation. I will still give them a B score - not an A because of everything described above.

About a month ago, we had a technician come out to look in our attic and give us a quote. A week or two went by and we hadn't heard anything, so my husband called the guy. He said he would work on the quote and email it to us within a day or so. Still nothing. So then my husband emailed him. Still nothing. I called the office the next day, and they referred me back to the technician. So I called and left him a message with my number and email address. I still have not received a quote. I actually chose this company because they were so highly rated on Angie's List. I don't know what happened, but I am calling a different company, this is TERRIBLE customer service.

They covered the floors inside the house to prevent any damage to the rug from the hose. They cleaned up afterward.

I first tried to make contact by completing the online form on the vendor's website. After 4-5 days without a response I made a phone call and spoke to someone I surmised was a receptionist. I told her I had a relatively small job that I wanted done. I wanted a room in an existing dwelling soundproofed. She told me she would email someone in their organization and that person -- who I recall was a Daniel's -- would call me. I never got a call. About two weeks later I called again and expressed my displeasure to the person who answered the phone -- perhaps the same women as the precious call. She put me on with a gentleman, who after listening to my job description promised a call the next day. No call ever came. My conclusion -- the job was too small to interest them. Not sure why they just couldn't have said that and avoided the bad taste the experience produced. Apparently, when they do respond and provide services, the homeowners are generally very pleased with their work. I was in a minority of individuals that fell prey to one of their failings.

Was scheduled for the morning and they arrived around 12:30 pm. Previous jobs may have taken longer than expected as the installers don't know the difficulty of each job until they are actually on site. They checked for openings where insulation might get blown into areas it shouldn't go, answered any questions I had, and then added the fiberglass insulation. When finished, they swept up the area under the attic access. I was satisfied with the work and the price, which was after the $100 Progress Energy rebate.
