Climate Design

Having experienced incorrect and suspicious advice from Climate Design in the past, I called ABC Air Conditioning, the outfit I had used at my previous home. Brian from ABC came over with a helper, pulled out the blower motor and tested it. The motor was fine but needed a new module. Brian left to get one. He came back later the very same day and installed the module and my AC began working. My cost $650, quite a bit less than what Climate Design wanted.

It was a lot of money, but I don't remember the cost. They did some good work and some parts of the job I didn't think they did a good job. I would not recommend them and I wouldn't trash them either. They are very punctual. Maybe I would use them in the future. In the future I would get some competitive quotes and make a decision after that. We are not enemies with them; there are just a few things in the ductwork that I did not appreciate.

They came out, gave me a quote, and seemed great. However, an hour before my appointment they called to cancel. I was left overnight without an installed sink. They said it was due to illness, which I understand, but they had no solutions for the cancellation. They said "Gosh, we don't know what to do. Other people are in front of you." How can they be in front of me when I already had an appointment in an hours time? I was very disappointed with them.

Everyone was courteous and extremely helpful. This was all during the hottest week of their year -- their busy time -- and they made us a priority. We were lucky to find them.

They are very honest, completely professiaonal, it was done in 7 hours, and it works great.

They came out and did exactly what they were supposed to do. I was happy with their service.

Showed up at scheduled time. Performed annual inspection and tuneup. I've used this company for close to ten years, and always send knowledgeable and professional techs.

They are great! They always spend over an hour going over the unit with a fine-tooth comb and changing out the filter. In this particular instance, our appointment was for two weeks out. They called and said there was a cancellation; and if we were available, they could send someone right then. That worked for us! The technicians are very clean-cut, polite, and answer all our questions.

Quote for replacement was to replace everything even though only halve of the ducts we problematic. I had signed a two year contract for service. When I asked them to comeback to check on what really needed to be replaced they never showed up. I called to cancel service and they so far have not responded

Determined malfunctioning part causing moisture forming when the system was turned to heat from air conditioning. Dennis, the service technician was very competent, knowledgeable, extremely polite and very professional! Super employee!

They were very professional and very thorough. They did a good job. One that impressed me the most about them is that the technician they sent did a very good job without a lot of questions, gave a few different options, the pros and cons of each one and gave us an idea which would cost more and why.

Our Sunday call was retuned promptly. He arrived ahead of estimated time - organized and repaired in short time.

I sent a letter to this company and they responded with a phone call to find out more about the problem and asked if a tech could be sent out the same week. Travis, the tech rep,. who came yesterday, was very knowledgeable and saw it certainly was a challenge to try to get to the plumbing panel behind the unit due to the drain pipe right in the middle. One of the options could have been to move the whole unit up so it would be clear of that panel but, as we talked about it, I asked if possibly the drain pipe could just be moved out of the middle and re-routed over to the side wall. He quickly checked and ascertained that it could, he spoke to his supervisor, and said it would be no charge (great news for me). He had some pvc pipe in his truck and took care of it right then--and no charge for the service call either! The only reason I said that I would probably not use this provider in the future, was that I am already using another local provider that I also used at my previous residence. However, I would definitely recommend Climate Design from my initial experience with them..

They sent someone out to give us an estimate. We are having renovations done on a condominium in St. Petersburg. Part of that will involve replacing the heating and air conditioning system. We had the gentleman look over the place and give us his thoughts and prepare an estimate. I was not overly impressed with the gentleman. He was older and had been with the company a long time. I'm interested in a multiple mini-split system. He did not really have any information on that at all. Regarding the location of the system, I wanted to put the system on the roof. He said he would not recommend that at all. I had four other companies tell me that they would do that as a first option. He said once we get our architectural plans together to give him a call and they will come back out to give an estimate. I won't call them to come back.

David was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He fixed the toilet in the 2nd bathroom, adjusted the faucet in the main bathroom that had been making an awful noise, and diagnosed the faucet lack of pressure in the kitchen and adjusted the water line feed which was the problem. My whole extended family has been using Climate Design for our AC needs and so I was happy to find out that they also provide plumbing services too. I have confidence in their professionalism and that they will fix what needs to be fixed.

and even redesigned the air returns for greater efficiency. Sarah, the engineer who came out to my home to design the duct work as well as the air returns, even enlarged my vent in the master bedroom for better cooling. My power bills were never really high since I have always had heat pumps installed, but with this new duct work, my power bills have decreased & the home is so much more comfortable. It was quite an investment, but well worth it, and also not putting a strain on the A/C system. I

I used Climate Design for several years for annual AC service. They were a bit pricey, but overall very good. I would use them again.

ok, but they missed a vital part My unit was not cooling so I had them chek it out they said it was ok but failed to mention the unit was too small for my house. I went to another proveider and he spoted the problem right away and I got a new and bigger unit which works perfectly.

Climate Design did a great job. They scheduled the installation quickly, completed in a few hours and it has worked great ever since. I have tried the others and I am happy with Climate Design.

Very professional, clear instructions, funny and personable tech.

Climate Design assigned multiple individuals who worked over a week (including weekend) to fix the coolant leaks and a cutoff switch which was giving false failure information.. The cooling coil was replaced plus necessary supporting components. The multiple personnel assigned were extremely capable and stuck with the repair. The effect of the repair is a fully refurbished compressor unit.

Both technicians gave excellent service. They explained what they were doing and why it needed to be done. They had to move some of my things in order to get to the dryer and the A/C indoor handler. When they had finished they moved my things back . This was much appreciated because I cannot move heat items. They arrived promptly and were very professional.
