Description of Work: Have known Chapman's for many years. Happy with results... when the job was finally completed. Only problem was in scheduling. Set appointment and no one showed up. Other appointments were either cancelled or changed several times.

Description of Work: Hired them initially to do a cleanup. The Chapman sons did a thorough job. Then I hired them for monthly maintenance. The crew they sent did a terrible job, leaving trimming undone and neglecting weeds. After a call to Scott Chapman, I was hoping it would get better. It did not. I called and emailed again several times, but never got a response. They just stopped showing up, but kept sending invoices. Now all I'm left with is damage to some plants as a result of some over-spraying.

Description of Work: They pulled weeds and raked leaves, which was very helpful to me as I am not able to do that type of work due to a car accident. There was a great deal to do and they did an awesome job with all of my decorations and lights in my yard. |It has taken a while to write this because I was not sure how to address the good and not so good. In purchasing the Big Deal, I had immediate contact from the company and I was very impressed with their customer service and professionalism. The work performed at my home was tremendous. I spoke with the owner's son and expressed my interest in continuing with them for the entire lawn service, including the weeding. He indicated he would pass that along and I would most likely get two proposals; one for the lawn care like mowing; and the other for the weeding. I didn't hear anything in a week and emailed Linda Chapman on April 13th, complimenting the work and requesting a proposal for service. On April 28th, I followed up again to find out why I still hadn't heard anything, which is now close to a month. I received a response on 4/29, explaining there had been extenuating circumstances that had prevented them from preparing the proposal but would get it out to me next week. However, by May 21st when I contacted them again, I still had not received a proposal, nor have I up to this time. In my last contact with them, I asked to please let me know one way or another, but heard nothing. |To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I own a business and would never treat a potential client in this manner; if I was unable to perform a job or couldn't take on any more work I would let them know. Honesty and truth is the only way to run a business in my mind. If they didn't want to do the weeding, which I know in my yard is a big undertaking; I would have understood but I still would have wanted their lawn service. At this point, I have an environmentally safe company spraying for weeds so much of that issue is being taken care of and the extent of that service wouldn't have been needed from Chapman. |The work was wonderful and I was very happy. The treatment afterwards was unexpected and unsettling really. I still don't know why I never heard from them.

Description of Work: Great job trimming trees, palms and other plants. The result was more than expected. On time, friendly and cleaned up as they trimmed. I will be using them in the near future.

Description of Work: Complete clean up and trim of front yard shrubbery. This included: Trimming large hedge (approx 15ft long by 8ft tall), trimming smaller hedge along front of house (3ft high by 25ft long), cleaned out weeds and grass around hedge and border, cutting back of very large Bird of Paradise bush, cleaned out and trimmed shrubbery around large tree in front of house. He also edged yard. These major jobs had been neglected by me for over a year.
