I need it for my friend, not for me. She first told me it was $49. So I said ok, how much is it to get it done? She said it depends on what is wrong with it. Why would I pay you $49 to go out there and then I find out I don't want to get it done? I just spent $50 and you're not even telling me the price. So finally she gave me a price. The price was $99.99 to install the garbage disposal. So I had her do it. She wouldn't give me a regular price. I said if you're not I'm not going to bother doing business with you. It doesn't make sense to me to pay $49 to say no to you guys. She said let me talk to my manager, and she came back. I paid them and had everything arranged. I wasn't there when it was done. I asked the tenant if there were any issues or anything gone wrong? He said everything went fine. They responded when I called them up and had them do a follow up on me.

A worker came for a service call and correctly analyzed that we needed to replace the water filter holder. The company ordered one and it came in a few days. The worker returned and discovered that the old filter holder could not be removed without damaging the fridge, and was bypassed, so they only billed me for a single service call. Did not charge for the filter holder. I think there is a way to fix it, so I may contact someone else.

A technician was able to come out the day after I called. He was prompt, pleasant & knew right away what the problem was. He told us the price of the part and installation. After we agreed, and he ordered the part and said it would be in within about a week or so. He was back in about 3 days to replace the part.

Jason arrived on time, actually a little early. identified the problem with a lot of time on the problem. Very professional and personable, gave excellent advice.

The service man was very polite and professional. He showed where an ice dam had built up in the wall of the refrigerator, blocking air flow from the freezer to refrigerator. He told us we had to defrost both the refrigerator and freezer for 3 days, until completely defrosted. But he couldn't provide any suggestions on what caused this problem in the first place. Needless to say, we are keeping an eye on the air flow box to make sure it doesn't get blocked with ice again. (It's next to a drawer and difficult to see.)

Brian was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He correctly diagnosed the problem, ordered the appropriate part, and returned to install the part in a timely manner. So far, it's working! In the future, I will feel comfortable calling Better Homes for all of my appliance repair needs.

Scott, my serviceman, arrived on time. He was professional and informative. Scott identified the issues and quoted a repair price. I chose to have the repairs accomplished. On the fridge, the starter & overload relays had to be replaced and the coils cleaned. On the dishwasher, the broken latch was replaced with a new one.

My phone call was answered in a polite and professional manner. A service representative was scheduled for the following morning. He appeared on time and conducted himself professionally. The work was completed in about an hour. The part I needed was on the truck. The price was reasonable. I'm quite happy with this company.

Better Homes sounds like a company I used for washing machine repair. I used them the one time and haven't had the need to use them again. I did get them off Angie's List. I think, yeah, that's probably who I used. I used them January of 2015. They charged me $288.62. They came when they said, they had the part in the truck, and they were able to diagnose and repair the washer in one visit.

Everything went great. Service technician was on time. Found out what was wrong, had to order part which came in when he said it would. Came out and fixed it. Very nice guy and great customer service. Thanks, would definitely use again.

The guy came on time and was able to quickly tell what the problem was. Unfortunately the fridge was done for and the cost of repair outweighed the cost of a new fridge.

The technician, Larry, was very knowledgeable. He recognized right away that the keypad was not working. Still, he listened to the dishwasher to make sure that the motor and the other parts were working correctly. We had the part ordered and Larry came back in five days to replace the part and answered more of our questions and shared the best practice to operate a dishwasher - run the sink tap so that hot water is running before you start the dishwasher, use Finish Quantum tablets, and throw in Lemishine to prevent the scale buildup. Overall, very satisfied. The only wrinkle was the price, I could order the part online for $100 and their total charge was ~$275. I understand that they had to make two trips and need a profit to operate the business, still.....

We've had a lot of experience with them. They're always good. Their price is good. They didn't charge us anything because there was nothing wrong with the dryer. The vent needs to be cleaned out. Very honest people.

The tech Scott came in like he was in a huge hurry. i had already undone the back of the fridge for his convenience, he looked at it for like 15 seconds. I had already checked the fan, the compressor and the coils underneath. He took out the freezer bin and undid the panel where the condensor coils were. He said, Well it is either a leak or the condensor which is $535. I said which one. He said well it would cost you another $10 to hook up my machine to it. WHAT? I paid you to come out here and tell me specifically what the problem was. Of course, I would NOT pay $535 for him to put in a condensor. Duh! But, what was the service call for, to tell me that my fridge didn't work? I already knew that. He seemed like he was trying to do it as quickly as possible and honestly didn't care what the problem was once he realized i wasn't going to pay $535 for a new condenser. Totally unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. I would NEVER hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

My refrigerator quit at about 3:30 pm on Friday. Called several vendors but all said they could only come Monday. I had lots of frozen food in freezer and other foods in refrig. Better Homes said they would be right over. Mike came within 30 mins and diagnose the problem. The control board was the issue and he had one in truck. Ten minutes later, he was done. I am very grateful. I do think the cost of $373 minus the $20 for Angies was a bit steep considering I found the same part online for $158 but I did save all the food so I am happy. Seems appliance repairs are always high. Mike was excellent and a pleasure to work with.

We have used Better homes AC & Appliance service in the past and cannot say enough goods things about the company and especially, Justin the Service man. I called for service on Friday and Justin showed up promptly on Monday. He diagnosed the wiring problem and determined that one burner previously installed was the wrong burner. He gave me an estimate for the replacement burner along with the price for a new oven heating element, which I had asked him to check, since it had never been replaced. He returned two days later with the replacement parts. Justin got the work done in a timely manner and answered all my questions in a polite and professional manner. Outstanding Service !!

I have used them a few times, I had very good experience with them. I would give them “A’s” across the board for everything! I have had no problems with them, they did a good job and were reasonable priced. Good company, go ahead and use them.

I called to schedule an appointment and was pleased to hear that the repairperson was available in the late morning. The scheduler was very professional and had an excellent attentiveness to detail. I told her that the drain screen had recently been cleaned, and I felt the drain pump might need replaced. The repair person arrived on time and promptly diagnosed the problem - a broken drain pump. We paid for the repair, and the tech advised he would look for the part. Later that day, the scheduler called to advise that they had located a pump and would be able to return in the afternoon if we had time. The repair person again arrived on time and repaired the washer. Flawless service from start to finish. We will definitely call them when the need arises!

Better Homes initially cleaned a blocked drain line, but unfortunately this did not fix the problem. Two weeks later, the ice buildup had returned. They ordered the part prior to the repair and returned to install it. The repair solved the problem. They were prompt and very professional.

Call to schedule appointment was handled professionally. Offered to send tech the same day. Scott, the tech, arrived on time and immediately diagnosed the problem, a plugged drain line. He went to work and cleared the blockage which should solve the problem. Scott was personable and very professional. Based on this experience we plan to use Better Homes for any future appliance repair issues.
