The repairman was on time, he was very honest and mentioned that he saw similar issues regularly with the brand of washer I had. It would have cost more to fix than I had paid for the machine six years ago, so I cut my losses and he recommended several good replacement machines. The repairman was very personable and honest. Would use this company again!

Washing machine was making a loud grinding noise. Repairman arrived toward the end of the appointment window and got to work right away. After taking some of the machine apart the technician said that the noise was likely caused by an object that found its way into then lining between the outer and inner drum. He said that the cost of getting to that lining would be more than the cost of a new machine and that there was also a chance that the object would eventually find its way out of the machine itself. He said he would not charge the usual fee. While we were sorry to hear the news, after we used the machine a couple of more times and the noise disappeared. He saved us the cost of an expensive repair or a new machine and did not charge a dime.

This company rocks!! They were able to repair my built in refrigerator and save me thousands of dollars if I were to have to purchase a new one! Justin, our technician, was as nice and honest as he could be. He arrived on time, told me what needed to be done, drove all the way to Plant City to pick up a new compressor, drove back and did the work all on the same day! It could not have been a better experience! Highly, Highly, recommend Justin and Better Home Appliance Service.

I called and spoke to the receptionist and explained that i couldn't get my filter out of the fridge. i asked if they had any special tools to remove it or if they were just going to come out and yank on it like i had been doing. i didn't want to pay the service fee for the guy to do the exact thing i was doing. she told me that about 95% of the time they can get them removed no problem. the guy came out looked at the fridge and said once they are stuck if they get removed it destroys the whole part and it would need to be repaired. it would cost be about $150 to repair it. He didn't even attempt to remove it. my brother came later in the week. he has zero knowledge about any appliances but unscrewed 2 screws to take off the face plate and was able to get the filter out. it took 5 min. How was my brother able to get the job done when a licensed contractor couldn't? they should look at who they hire. i also had issues with my garbage disposal leaking. the guy told me that since it was so old it needed to be replaced and it would be $290. i didn't have much choice because i couldn't use my sink since every time i did it leaked. so he replaced it. I later looked on amazon and that same disposal was $80 and had the option of paying an additional $45 to get it installed. this company was almost double that. this is the second time i have had a bad experiance with them. i will never use them in the future and will do my best to persuade anyone else from using them.

Amazingly well. The repairman was very knowledgeable and able to replace the necessary part fairly quickly. Freezer fully functional again! I would (and have) recommended this repair service to anyone/everyone. Terrific, knowledgeable service at a fair price.

Called Better Homes as they had done a repair for me a few years ago on my dryer. I had to pay $49 to have washer looked at and I was told it was my doing that the washer was off balance. He tried to make it do the same thing with just a few things in a load and it did not reproduce the problem so he said I was filling it improperly. After he left I tried to do a load of clothes and same issue occurred. I had an eye witness look at this load of laundry and he agreed that I filled the washer properly and it was not the way I filled it. It still has been doing the same thing with every single load of laundry since and now I am afraid to call to have it looked at again to hear the same thing. Now the washer is overflowing. I am just thinking I will just have to get a new washer as I am really reluctant to call someone else to look at it just to have to pay more money and be told it is all my fault.

Brain and Lynn were awesome to work with to replace a warrantied compressor on our LG French door fridge. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for LG. They both provided sound advice how to work with LG and we're very transparent on the process. Once we received the part, Brian had it installed in no time. I would definitely recommend Better Homes Appliance Service and will certainly use them for any future need.

Called and luckily a technician was in the area so they got to me within minutes of my call. The awesome technician diagnosed, explained and then replaced the faulty part. The price seemed very reasonable for tge fast and friendly service. Could not be happier.

Good. The repairman was friendly and efficient. He needed to order a part, which came in as promised and the repair was completed.

Repairman came out on time. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part. Called when it came back in & installed.

Everyone was very friendly. They came out the same day. They arrived much earlier than scheduled, but called ahead of time to see if it was OK as they had cancellations. They said it would be $600 to replace and recommended to get a new fridge instead. Then gave suggestion of looking at used appliance stores and gave the name of one in town, that had a large selection, and delivered and hauled away the old one. Still cost me $50 for the service call, but they warned me of that when I made the appointment.

I was advised that a new one would be $600 to replace. Recommended that I not fix it, but replace it as the cost was close to a new one. Then gave me the name of a used appliance store in town. Got one from there and had the "new" fridge installed the same day, and they hauled off the old one. I was charged $50 for the service call, and they did warn me in advance that I would be charged even if no work was done.

Fine. They came a few hours after I called. Put in a part and were quick and efficicient. The repair man explained to me what he was doing.

I called because our dryer wasn't consistently getting hot. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't. I called the company and they came out the next day .The person walked in turned on the dryer and put a piece of paper in the back and said the airflow is good so it's probably the dryer vent that needs to be cleaned out. In and out in under 5 min and i owed $45 for the service call. A few days later the dryer vents get cleaned out by a different company but the dryer still isn't getting hot. This is going on over a week that our dryer isnt working. So i call back and set another appointment for someone to come back out and look at it. This time the guy did a more thorough exam and found the timer was broken but they would have to order a new part. I was told the part would take 3-5 days to come in. The next week i get a call ad the part came in and they installed it and now everything works fine. a lot of my frustration could have been avoided if he had actually examined the dryer the first. it would have also saved me $90 from what i paid the dryer vent guys that apparently didn't need to be done. The person who came out was always on time and professional. Overall i rated them a C because of not fully diagnosing the problem the first time and postponing the time that i had a working dryer. The total was about $225 that included the service call, the part, and the labor.

Called a bunch of people to get estimates and these guys showed up promptly, but I had forgotten I scheduled somebody different. They were gracious about the mix up, including the technician that showed up. Very professional people.

Gave good advice to leave it alone.

This is the second time I have used this company. They made such an impression on me many years ago that although I didn't have the number, I remembered their name. I am so fortunate I did because they are prompt, very reasonable service fees and honest.

We had a leak in our fridge which we noticed on a Saturday morning. I got onto the List and found several companies that might be able to do the work. This one came out on Sat. afternoon and fixed the fridge and did not charge us a fee for coming in on the weekend. They charged a flat rate and gave us a $20 discount for using Angie's List. They were terrific
