Description of Work: Did not follow up with manufacturer on warranty. I have used them in the past and experienced great service. Disappointed this time around.

Description of Work: The company's website stated they were open on Sundays. I first called on Sun, 5/18, left a message and never got a response (including the next morning.) I called again on Mon morning and left a message. A woman returned my call about an hour later, and after learning about my problem, told me a technician would call me "in about an hour." Again, no one ever called me back. I was done; figuring if they can't even keep posted business hour promises or a phone promise that I have no intention of trusting them with any work of any kind.

Description of Work: Washer not working I called Monday morning and they sent one of their techs Larry out the same day . I let him know the problem and he let me know it was the transmission and that it would cost more to repair than replace . He was honest and gave me some recommendations of places to go. Thank you will call again and let friends and family know!

Description of Work: They did a good job. Found the problem, explained it clearly and fixed it. The ice maker water line had frozen and was causing a water leak on the floor.

Description of Work: Bob and Ed made several trips to our house to diagnose and attempt to repair a 7-year old Samsung refrigerator. Unfortunately, the fridge needed an $800 fan so we bought a new one from Apsco. I would definitely use them again and would most definitely not buy another Samsung!

Description of Work: The repairman, Bob, came 5 days earlier and diagnosed the problem as needing a part which had to be ordered. I had a bad experience with Sear's and vowed never to use them again. Five days later the part was installed by Bob, at a lower price quoted by Sear's. Bob was very nice and professional, and I would be glad to have him again, also. It was a good experience.

Description of Work: Great work! Called at about 10 this morning when it was discovered that our dryer wasn't working and was able to schedule a tech visit for "between 1 and 4" the same day. Larry, the tech, was at our house at exactly 1:00 and I was so appreciative since I had about 10 loads of laundry to do. He was very knowledgeable and professional and shared tips with us on how to get the most out of our washer and dryer after fixing the issues. Definitely recommend!

Description of Work: Our GE refrigerator's ice dispenser hadn't been right since we bought the house yeara ago. The setviceman from Better Homes quickly diagnosed the problem and was back two days later with the right part to fix the problem. We were very impressed with his professionalism, punctuality, and skills.

Description of Work: About a year ago my dishwasher would shut down in the middle of a cycle, the door popped open just enough to stop the cycle. I dealt with it by just shutting the door again. But it got bad, stopping 5-6 times during a wash. I couldn't deal with it any more and called Better Homes Appliance repair. I have used them 4 times in the past and their service is excellent. They sent out a technician Brian who has been to my home before. He fixed an ice maker that never really worked right, didn't have to get parts, he fixed it on the spot. Have,t had single problem since. I don't know all of their technicians, but I can assure Brian is one of best technicians. He diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher quickly and again fixed it on the spot. He did suggest replacing the front control panel and I agreed. He came back a few days later and installed. Excellent company, punctual,very professional, the techs. know their business. If you do need their service ask for Brian.

Description of Work: Called Better Homes on Saturday, January 7 A.M for service on electric ranget. Was told that service was all booked up for the day but if there was a cancellafion they would call and otherwise they would be here Monday morningf. I called Monday morning and was told they had no record of my call and insisted that I supply the name of the person I talked to and the time for the appointment and told me I was being rude to her. We have used this company several times in the past with good resulfs. This lady just lost a custolmer for the company.

Description of Work: I called on Monday afternoon to have problem with ice cube maker in sub zero refrigerator fixed. they came Tuesday am at stated time and quickly found the problem and several other problems that I wasn't aware of. I will continue to use this company

Description of Work: I called at 10:30 AM and by 1:30 PM the technician was at my door. He was courteous and knew what to do, and showed me what was wrong and how to fix it temporarily since it would cost too much to totally repair the washing machine. He said to just buy a new one in the near future, and gave me some historical knowledge about various brands and how to get a good one at a reasonable price. He wasn't selling anything as their business doesn't do that. I appreciated his work and he only charged me for a service call--it was well worth the $50. I'll use them again when a major appliance breaks down.
