When I called they gave me an appointment. They are reliable, prompt & very professional. They were excellent. I am so happy that I found them. They cleaned up after themselves.

Service was very prompt, same day. Serviceman Larry was very polite. He did not have the part on hand, but it was ordered, and he returned 3 days later to install as per agreed price. Also honored the coupon on Angie's List for $20 off.

They answer the phones in person. They come out the next day. We trust them in our home even if we can't be there. We can't even tell they were there, except that they leave the bill on the counter for us!

Excellent service. Arrived the same day called and on time with appointment. Diagnosed problem, replaced thermostat and melted away ice build up. Worked efficiently and very courteous. Gave discount to us as member of Angie's List.

The service person arrived at 9:55AM. The dryer repair was performed in a professional manner and at the cost that we had predicted. The service person was very neat and provided excellent instructions on how to keep the dryer running efficiently for years to come. We were extremely pleased with this service and will highly recommend the Better Homes Appliance Service to all our friends and neighbors.

Called for repair of ice maker not working at all and dryer taking too long to dry. Technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable and personable. Found that the dryer vent was kinked, restricting air flow. He replaced the flex air tube at no charge and told me to keep the dryer away from the wall to avoid the kink. He told me the ice maker was a bit expensive but the new model had been redesigned to last and we should not have a problem with it for a long time.

The repairmen made what he sought was the proper replacement when it turned out that a computer board was the actual issue he replaced it for free because by their standards he should have corrected that on the first trip.

He was very smart! He looked in, cleaned off the lint and dust from the vent, and it is working better now. I won't use any other service from now on!

Christmas Eve day, the refrigerator stopped cooling and party platters were on the way. I called Better Homes Appliance Service and pleaded my case. They said a tech would be here between 11am and 1 pm. bout 9:15am the tech called from Oldsmar saying he had a cancellation and was available. He was here in 15 minutes completely prepared and immediately diagnosed the problem as a malfunctioning defrost heater. He quoted the price for the repair and, upon go ahead, saved our party. The technician was "JIM", and conducted himself in a professional manner and very courteous. My Internet service was out so I could not print a coupon or ask for a senior discount. Considering the circumstances (Christmas Eve, almost immediate response), I considered the price quite reasonable and will not hesitate to call on them again, if needed.

Our front-loader washer stopped working. Not all firms will repair front-loaders, so I was happy that BHAS would be able to come the following day. I was only charged for the service call, which made me very happy as I was fearing the worst with this 10 year old washer. But, he managed to fish out a coin from the drain line and we were washing again very quickly.

Initially repairman stated possible lose wiring to motor, the washer worked for a couple days, then broke down again, returned and found motor was not working correctly, ordered another motor over holiday, replaced motor, all went well and happy with service.

When I scheduled the time for the part to be replaced, I was given a three hour window. The employee arrived on-time. I felt that the total $$ amount was high for a $50 part.

He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem I had with both the refrigerator & stove. Even though the appointment was late in the day, he stayed until the refrigerator was working again, working a couple of hours. Because he did not have the stove part on hand, he planned to return later to fix the stove and I asked if he would also install a water filter that I planned to purchase. The second visit went just as smoothly. Jim is fast, professional and knowledgeable.

I called because they had a good rating and their $49.95 charge to come out was comparable to other similar companies. They came out on 10/19 and at that time I was told that the total cost would be $165.00, I found rather high since other companies I spoke with said that the part costs between $30-$40 & replacing would only take a few minutes, so I figured that the total cost would be a $49.95 service call + $40 for the part totaling $89.95, with $100 being on the high end. Needless to say I felt "trapped" since I would be out the $49.95 if I didn't have the work done. Late that afternoon we called, expressed our concern and Patty said that she would have Lynn, the office Mgr. call us on Monday 10/22. Later on 10/22 I called again and was told Lynn was in meetings and she would call us the next day. On 10/24 am I spoke with Patty a third time. Lynn called at 11:30 and said she would call the next day to review my concerns because she didn t have time. As of 10/28 no call from Lynn.

This was a great experience that put my mind to rest. I was originally nervous that a new compressor or a major overhaul was needed. I will use Better Homes for all appliance services.

They came out very fast and did a great job.

They came out earlier this month to install the ice maker. I called them on Sunday evening, because there was water leaking out at the bottom of the fridge. They came out very promptly, and said that there had been a power surge, causing the failure. He replaced several parts, and it is working now. They even gave me a discount since they'd come out so recently for the ice maker service!

Apparently this had to do with the ice maker, something had ruptured. They were out right away and were very prompt. The cost was not outrageous, they got everything working again before any of the food was damaged.

Promptly diagnosed the problem. Cleaned all the coils and made sure the system was up and running. They also explained what caused the problem so we could easily prevent the problem in the future. Very professional. There is a 1 year warranty on the repair.

Work went flawlessly. While washer was open, technician pointed out other areas to watch for and how to fix it myself. Excellent job.

I felt Like I could trust the people I dealt with. They seemed to be honest and caring.

Serviceman arrived on time. Diagnosed the problem (machine still full of water). Fixed belt drive. Bravo Zulu!

When I first had the problem, on a Friday afternoon at 3:30, I called Better Homes Appliance and they set up an appointment for first thing Monday morning. Over the weekend, the stove started working again. I forgot to cancel the call. When they arrived promptly at the scheduled time, there was nothing to be done. Since there was no work done but I did take their time, I immediately offered to pay a service call fee. They let me know they would honor the fee for thirty days. Of course, the stove broke again the next week, and they came back out to quickly asses the problem, this time, at no charge. Very professional, very personal.

James was excellent, quick, and answers question. He also looked at my dryer and told me what it needed. They have always done a good job.

I called Better Homes and told them that I had to have the oven working before the Thanksgiving Day week as I was having dinner at my home and had a lot of cooking and baking to do. Not only did they come out the day I called, but they rushed the part from Jacksonville and came out three days later to repair my oven. They really are customer service oriented and are wonderful to work with. I will continue to use them in the future and highly recommend them.
