My Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Gas Dryer was getting warm, at least at first, but clothes were not dry at the end of the cycle. I made an appointment with Better Homes and the technician, Kevin, arrived as scheduled. While I had partially cleaned the dryer vent and tested the dryer with the vent detached, Kevin offered to clean the vertical vent which goes up through the roof for $87.45 so I approved this. While troubleshooting the actual dryer problem, Kevin ran it using "AccuDry" sensor mode(which I use exclusively)as well as timed drying. He noted that the problem did not appear in 5 minutes during timed drying so he thought the issue was with the sensor drying only. After consulting the wiring diagram and calling other technicians for their opinion, Kevin informed me that the temperature control board and detector switch would cost $269.95 to replace. He recommended we use the timed mode to avoid having to do this as a new dryer wouldn't cost much more than the repair. After Kevin left I had to clean the entire utility room since cleaning the dryer vent resulted in a layer of dust on everything. Then I tried a load of laundry using the timer instead of senor drying. The problem still existed-the clothes did not dry. Apparently, he had mis-diagnosed the problem. Not having confidence to call Better Homes again, I called Belspeed Appliance repair and the technician replaced the gas valves for $120 and fixed the problem.

The technician was extremely efficient and friendly, identifying the problem quickly. The technician had the correct parts to perform the repair and provided an estimate on site. Once given the OK to perform the repair the technician finished the repair quickly and with a minimum of disruption to the household. The refrigerator is now 100% functional again.

Better Homes Appliance Service did a great job. They were very reasonable in price. The serviceman was on time, very efficient, and had all supplies needed to do the job, including the part that needed repair.

Easily got an appointment to repair washer. Explained problem to the very efficient woman who answered the phone, and the repairman showed up at the door with exactly the part I needed, right at the promised appointment time. Having used them before, they had my washer model in their file. 15 minutes, in and out, washer works perfectly.

We called and got Chris, the service tech to come out the next day. He came out within the time frame, and immediately went to work. He took the dishwasher apart and really inspected it for any problems. He told us that the dishwasher had clogged due to our leaving to back north to our other home. He poured vinegar and water into the dishwasher and told us to let it sit overnight. Chris came back the next morning and checked it and it is now in good working order. He also told us how to avoid the clog and how to keep the dishwasher in good repair. He took the dryer apart but informed us that the dryer was working properly, but we needed to have someone clean out the dryer vent. Once it was done, the dryer is working perfectly.

It went well. The service repairman was prompt and respectful of my property while taking apart the dishwasher to determine the problem. His opinion was that the part that needed to be replaced was extremely expensive - almost as much as replacing the dishwasher. He didn't try to sell me services that I didn't need. He was honest, thorough and very professional. I would use them again.

Service went very well. After appointment was made, Bob showed up within the time range and immediately knew what we needed; a new ice maker. He took the information and ordered the product. After about 10 day's the new ice maker came in and a install appointment was made with a few days. Bob again showed up on time and replace the item, tested it and cleaned out the ice bin.

Awesome! They were able to schedule in less than 24 hours. Tech arrived right on time and went to work right away. Took apart dryer, diagnosed problem, told me the price and when I asked how long, said he could be done in 15 minutes. Was dead-on on time and I could not be happier with this company.

Very good. Prompt, curtious, always quick & on schedule. Fixed same day, and clean. They explained all the things they did, & took all of the old parts with them.

The technician arrived promptly at the agreed on time. He worked on the machine for about an hour and informed me that he could not complete the job until he ordered some new parts. I told him that would be fine. I didn't hear anything back from the company for two weeks and I called them. I was informed that the parts were expected in the next day. Two days later the technician returned and finished the job. The washer is working fine now.

My range stopped working one day and I went on Angie's List to research large appliance repair companies after having no luck going through Maytag. Better Home App...was very professional and they sent a tech out that afternoon (Bob) to look at it and give me an estimate. Bob knew exactly what was wrong with it and went to the back of the range and took the cover off to show me the burnt wires/cord. He ordered the parts and came back out the following week to install them.

They were unable to complete the repair on the first visit due to a problem with the fridge, they returned the next day to complete the repair. They were on time, courteous, neat and clean.

Refused to remove worn door gaskets and install new gaskets purchased from Sub Zero.

I was very happy with their work. They charged a reasonable amount. They did what they said they were going to do. They came back to fix something that didn't work before and they didn't overcharge me.

I feel like they did what they were supposed to do even though we couldn't find the problem. I had a problem with smoke coming from my washer. They even called the company to see if there had been reports of a similar problem. So far I haven't had the problem again.

The service man arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly since it is fairly common in 8 year old Maytag refrigerators. He melted the ice build up inside the back panel in the freezer and replaced the part. The service man was very nice and polite and worked efficiently. He had the part with him so he fixed the problem right away.

He said to use liquid detergent. He showed us how to re-stack the dishes so they get cleaned properly. He also checked the timer. He did a very good job. His price was reasonable and he was on time.

Excellent workmanship and timely response -- could not asked for better service. To put icing on the cake, Dan is very personable and friendly as is the telephone appointment person.

They were very good. The guy did a good job, and came in quick. They were out the next day after I called them to do the work. I would hire them again.

I called right after viewing all their favorable reports on Angie's List. Great customer service on the phone, and they called to let me know when they were coming. Repair person was very professional and taught me how to fix my washer problem in the future.

They were prompt. They came on very short notice. They explained everything very well. They told me the dryer wasn't worth fixing and I thought that was very honest of them.

Excellent. The gentleman knew exactly what he was doing and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had the part in his truck and replaced it very quickly. Was very courteous. Told me I had lifetime warranty on the part; I would only need to pay for labor if it broke again. I was very pleased with his performance and professionalism.

The entire process from first phone call to installation and bill payment was smooth, hassle-free and there were not surprises.

They were excellent! They were out so promptly. They fixed the problem. He didn't try to sell me a part that wasn't broken. I would give them A's all the way across the board. They are so friendly.

he came the same day and fixed it the same day. I was pretty impressed. I thought they were very reasonably priced, he gave an estimate before he did work and was very nice. He also cleaned up after himself.
