Took a week because a part had to be ordered.

Excellent! Luis arrived in the expected time window on a Saturday. He was friendly and informative, explaining everything he was doing. He did a quick run through and couldn't reproduce the problem I was having, but did discover and fix a different problem. He gave me some good tips on how to diagnose and fix some common washer problems myself. Price was very reasonable. The next day, on Sunday, I ran a load of laundry and the original problem reappeared. I tired some of his suggestions, with no success. I called Monday morning and he came right back over. This time he was able to reproduce the problem and quickly fixed it. No additional charges and the machine seems to be fine now. Will absolutely use again, and recommend to friends.

They charge $49.95 to come out and see what's wrong. The part had to be ordered. When it came in they called and scheduled an appt. on a Saturday afternoon. They showed up when they said they would and repaired it satisfactory. The total cost included the $49.95 already paid and a $20 discount.

These guys are great! The person showed up in the window they gave me and he was very professional and knowledgeable and let me know not only what the issues were on my 3 appliances but also what future issues I might expect on my particular model of dishwasher based on calls he has been at. Prices are competitive and there was no pressure. As a woman meeting a workman alone sometimes you get the guy who is A. Creepy or B. Talks to you like you are an idiot bc you are female. Not the case here! Luis was my repairman and he was nice and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Fine. The repair involved electronics which were diagnosed as faulty. Multiple parts needed to be replaced which took multiple visits but the office communicated the visit times and the repairman was always on time and polite.

Not well. I won't do a business with a company that is not transparent about pricing. If I know what I need they should be able to provide an estimate. I wouldn't buy a new appliance if the salesperson told me we'll see what it costs when we deliver it to your house.

Repair wasn't possible. Jim helped me with replacement options. Very helpful. I took his suggestion and happy with choice. Thanks Jim.

This time was for a Dryer service but I've used this company for other appliances as well. Always reliable and fair. The technician is very nice and does a good job.

Could not fix the refrigerator as he was not qualified to work on a sealed refrigerant system.

Better Homes and Appliance has been a reliable vendor for years. They schedule quickly, repair effectively and offer competitive pricing. We'll continue to use them!

To costly to fix, decided to buy new washer. He was very kind he explain everything in detail.

I paid $50 for service call and was quoted over $300 to repair ice dispenser and was told my ice paddle wouldn't match the other one unless I paid another $65 to have the other side replaced. I called A Arnie's Dependable Appliance repair and they fixed it for $225. And no need to replace my paddle. I've used Better Homes several times and always felt I was overpaying - now I know I was right.

Excellent, he called and set an appointment right away and was on time. Found the problem and tested the rest of the appliance just to make sure got the part delivered to my home and returned the same day to finish the repair

Justin Knew the problem and the steps to address. Mind you there is a first step to see if it addresses the issue, if still a problem, then you move to step two. And if problems remain, you move on to step three. It’s the design of the samsung ice maker that is the issue.

On time and Brian was beyond helpful. He determined a rat had chewed through the wires and showed me where the rat was getting in- helped me close it up even. It took two trips because parts had to be ordered, but price was reasonable and the value outstanding.

Justin was punctual, personable and very professional. He took great care in removing the oven from its enclosure, quickly determined the fault and explained the cause in detail. As part of the repair, he tried to ensure that the same problem would not reoccur. Although no replacement parts were involved, the charge was reasonable for prompt and efficient service. I would be very happy to use this company again.

Repairman was honest and forthcoming about the problems with the stove/oven. Easy to work with.

Justin arrived promptly, was courteous and professional. After a quick assessment we concluded that the purchase of a new stove was more feasible than a repair. Wholeheartedly would recommend company and will definitely use in the future.

Justin replaced the condenser and all is well. Company also helped us out in obtaining the part from LG, which has horrible customer service. No more LG appliances.

Diagnosed and ordered part. Then, said he could not get old filter holder out, so he only charged for one service call and returned the filter holder. Later, called another appliance repair service and they were able to remove the old filter holder and install a new filter holder.

I was getting an error code. Called Saturday, showed up Monday. Supposed to call before arriving, no call. Cleans out the drain pump. Gave us bill for about $95. Left without running machine to see if error came back. Load in laundry, 2 minutes later, error back. Called office, he returned about 1 hour later. Didn't look at anything just gave us back our $95 and new bill for $50. Says machine not worth fixing. I googled error code and replaced all components that typically cause this error. Spent $90 for the parts on Amazon. Washer working great. This is the first time a highly rated service provider failed me. Oh well, I guess I just got unlucky with the guy they sent.

On first visit, the technician discovered that the problem was with the electrical block that connected the dryer electrical cord to the machine. He ordered the part and said they would call when the part was received. They called and scheduled another appointment about a week later. However, I received a call that day that they discovered that the part they received was defective and they would need to order it again. Then the delays started to build up. It seems that the part was not available anywhere. After I called a few times, they called a competitor and bought the part from them. Once it was received, they came out and quickly installed it. The dryer now works fine. To their credit, they gave me an additional discount on the repair cost due to the delay. However, it took two weeks to locate the part and I felt that they only tried the competitor part approach after I pestered them a few times since we were tired of going to the laundromat. Having said all that, I believe that we would use them again since they properly diagnosed the problem and got it resolved.

I truly appreciated the straightforward assessment of the problem. Rather than sell me an expensive repair I was provided with options that considered long term benefit. I would absolutely recommend this company.
