Description of Work: Dave Becker and his daughter, Jenny (who also acted as decorating consultant), were the contractors for the remodeling of my master and guest bathrooms. Although they performed some of the work themselves, the more skilled work was performed by subcontractors they hired and closely supervised. There was a demolition team to take the master bath down to the cement and remove the debris. Other teams put up wallboards, framed-in a large shower, installed a shower pan, tiled the shower, installed a knee wall topped by clear glass to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom, tiled the floor, installed the vanity and sinks, wallpapered, and put in new lighting (recessed and traditional). Dave and Jenny did the painting, hung mirrors and reinstalled the medicine cabinets that they had refurbished, among other things. There was less to do in the guest bath, but the wallboards had to be replaced, a new vanity and sink, mirror and lighting were put in, and tiling and wallpapering in this bath, too. Dave was in touch with me by telephone just about every day to tell me what work, and by whom, was scheduled for the next day, including ETAs. He and usually Jenny were present every work day to make sure the subcontractor knew what he was supposed to do. They would reappear at least once later in the day to ensure the work had been done in a professional manner and that the cleanup was thorough. I am totally happy with my new bathrooms and with Dave, Jenny and their subcontractors.
