We called this customer after seeing this report. He seemed like a very nice gentleman and said there was really no complaint but he thought a maintenance service that day was somewhat lacking. Checking back to the date the call was ran showed out techs were running calls until 8 or 9 at night due to the extreme temperatures. That is not an excuse to hurry through a call, and we promised this gentleman if he decides to give us another try, we would see that he was more than satisfied. Great experience overall
Description of Work: Technician arrived on time. Mark quickly figured out what the problem and gave me an option of repair or replace the unit. When I said I needed to think about it, he wasn't pushy. He said he'd call in a few days to check in with me. When I decided to repair it, Bayside scheduled me another appointment for later that week and again Mark arrived on time and finished the work quickly.

Description of Work: They did not listen to me when I first called but if they did then I would not have purchased a coupon for a service that they don't provide. I stated very clearly what I needed when I called the first time. If Donna had listened she would have known they could not help me. After I called the second time she told me we don't do pool heaters so when I asked for a refund she was not friendly or even helpful to guide me on how to get a refund. Very very disappointed!

This customer called and asked our receptionist if we service heat pumps, and she answered yes we do. The customer called again after purchasing the Angie's List Coupon that clearly states it is for furnaces and A/C systems, and then asked if we do Pool Heaters. She then demanded that we refund the money she paidAngie'ss List for the coupon, and our receptionist explained she would have to call them back to cancel it. Sorry we were unable to help you.

Description of Work: Did not call back in a reasonable time-frame, so I went with another company that responded. Several hours later when they did call back I was told that they were not available to come out until Monday of next week. I called Friday morning.

This customer left a message Friday that he was calling around for a service man that could get out there ASAP. Our dispatcher called back and explained that we are completely booked that day covering calls from our regular contract customers, and the soonest we could respond would be Monday morning. Before she could give him the number of another company that was taking care of our overflow, he said he already had found someone and hung up. Thank you for giving us a call and we are sorry that we were not able to fit you into the schedule.

Description of Work: We called Bayside to check our unit outside because the fan was running continuously. They found the compressor was burned out, but still under warranty. Mike explained what was going on and found that the previous AC company we had used had put 11 lbs. too much of Freon in the unit which caused the compressor to burn out. They replaced the compressor the next day. We purchased a service agreement with Bayside and the following day Charlie was here to check out the whole system. He found some other problems, fixed them and explained everything to us. Both men were excellent and we would recommend Bayside to anyone.

Description of Work: I actually do not remember when they came out, it was so long ago. I did not realize I had to ask Angie's list for my refund, so I am asking for it now. The technician said I needed to contact the original installers of my HVAC system because it was out of code. They said they would not charge me for the visit.

Description of Work: Serviced old A/C unit and recommended a replacement, as a lot of wear and tear on an already 11 year old unit. Called them next day and ordered new unit which was installed the following day quickly and compentently. Will use them again if problems arise in the future.
