Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List Big Deal for $49.95 for a 21 Point Seasonal Heating and A/C Check-Up.

Description of Work: Bayside performed regular maintenance & tune-up services on my AC unit. They were punctual and professional. Also alerted me to a great deal on a service contract with them, which I took. I had some issues with my AC's drain being backed up (which I knew about) and ended up calling them again for service a few weeks later. It took only 4 hours for a technician to come to my house & solve the problem. I'm very happy with Bayside!

Description of Work: Installed a filter that got sucked into the return area. didn't check it for a month, then saw that the air hasn't been filtered for the duration of time gone by. Recommended repairs that are not needed for an amazingly high price.

Description of Work: This was a $49.95 tune up special. Our tech, Derick, started the procedure , and found in the attic, where our heat exchanger is,under a low roof, with roofing nails sticking through, a tear 7" by 20" on the back side of the return which cannot be seen, only felt. After spending a fair amount of time repairing the tear, he calmly continued his inspection, I highly respect and recommend Derik and Bayside heating and a\c.

Description of Work: I paid for an estimate on my HVAC unit - they told me all sorts of BS so they could replace my entire system - for more than any of it needed to be worth. I wont use them and I wont recommend them. When I called to tell them they stood by their word. Not even offering to take a second look.

Description of Work: the worker was unable to provide necessary information about the warranty for the part that needed repair. He was polite and professional. There was no charge since service could not be performed. Service had to be arranged via company where part was under warranty.

Description of Work: I have a had a service contract with Bayside Heating for the past 4 or 5 years. They come out twice a year to check out my system and change the air filters. |Over the years, I have had excellent service technicians and some that were not so good. It depends who you get. Some are like high pressured car salesmen trying to sell you something. One told me I needed a whole new unit. That was about 2 years ago and others since then have said that it's running fine, but a little noisy. Another one told me that I had mold and needed a UV light system. The next one said the coils are a bit dirty but no mold in the unit. Because of this, I wouldn't buy anything from them before I had it checked out by another company. However, I do like the regular service visits and think it's worth the price.
