THESE FOLKS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY FOUND OUT WE WERE AN ANGIE'S LIST CUSTOMER. THE INSTALLATION WAS DONE IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER, AND THE REPRESENTATIVES AND TECHNICIANS WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE PLEASANT. THE SYSTEM HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY EVER SINCE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAYSIDE HEATING AND A/C.

The company had to come out 4 times because the a/c unit, which they installed, didnt pass inspection! The city of Clearwater had changed the code on the support of air conditioning units back in January, in which this company knew about, and they still installed my unit with the old code! It was very time consuming to have them come back out to fix the problem correctly.

They did an installation of all new air ducts, which were badly needed. They did the work very well as offered!

Gary was very thorough and informative. I loved the service so much that I subscribed to a maintenance agreement with this company.

WE HAVE HAD 3 MORE ESTIMATES ALL SUGGESTING REPAIR AND NOT THE EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT. WE HAD TO CALL BACK FOR THE

They tried to talk me into getting new packages every time they come out. The first guy that came out stated that we had a mold buildup in our system. He sold me on the cleanup and the work was done. About 5 or 6 months later a second guy came out which was for my check up, and he tried to tell me that I had a mold buildup again! He was trying to sell me another cleaning package, which I didnt go for, but I wondered if they had anything for mold prevention? He stated that he would have to clean up the mold again. I decided not to o the work. I thought that was very "fishy"!

They were very professional and didnt try any high-pressure sales on me!

I called Bayside in regards to the spring check up special that they were running. The technician took a brief look at my unit and then proceeded to tell me that the unit was too difficult to clean. He then tried to have me purchase a new a/c unit for $900, when all I wanted him to do was clean and check my a/c at the special rate, which was $44.95! I ended up with a new filter and feeling somewhat "gypped".

They were very nice and did a good job!!!

JIM ROGERS, THE SALESMAN (WHO CLAIMS HE'S NOT A SALESMAN) TALKS WAY TOO MUCH. THIS WAS THE ONLY NEGATIVE IN OUR EXPERIENCE.

THE QUOTED PRICE WAS CONSISTENT WITH THE THREE OTHER PROVIDERS I SOLICITED ONCE YOU DID AN APPLES-TO-APPLE COMPARISON. IT WAS NEITHER A GREAT DEAL NOR A POOR ONE. UNLIKE ONE COMPANY, THEY DID NOT DISPARAGE ANOTHER MANUFACTURER'S NAME IN ORDER TO BOOST THE BRAND THEY WERE PUSHING, OR ANOTHER COMPANY WHICH DISPARAGED ANOTHER LOCAL HVAC INSTALLATION COMPANY. I APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT THEIR REPRESENTATIVE TOOK THE TIME TO UNDERSTAND IF I HAD HOT SPOTS OR COLD SPOTS IN MY HOUSE-PROPOSING A RANGE OF SOLUTIONS.

THEY WERE HONEST AND INFORMATIVE IN THE MODEL SELECTION PROCESS. THE ISTALLERS WERE EXCELLENT.

Very knowledgeable. For example, they pulled the valve out and instead of charging me for a new one they cleaned it and reset it and it worked.

I DID RECEIVE A COLD CALL 3 WKS PRIOR FOR THE SAME PRICE, SO IT WASN'T THAT I REC'D A SPECIAL PRICE FROM BEING AN ANGIE'S LIST MEMBER. I DID GET A SMALL BREAK ON PRICE B/C OF MY DISABILITY AND AGE IN HOUSEHOLD. HUSBAND CHECKED & THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY DID I.E CLEANED & RETAPED DUCTWORK. TRIED TO SELL ME A 2 YR CONTRACT AFTER WORK DONE, BUT THEY WEREN'T TOO PUSHY W/IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. WORKER

The system is in and appears to be working very well, BUT!!! the ground was wet, and the air handler was in the house (for which THEY were grateful since working on the roof would have been very hot). I recently had new carpeting installed, a light beige. They took the air handler out of the closet without laying a protective covering on the rug and dirty water spilled from the handler onto the rug. I immediately went to get something to clean it up; they said they would take care of it. This is the point at which they went to get something to lay on the rug without cleaning up the dirty water!!!!! They were also coming in and out through the front door with dirty shoes. I called this to their attention; they said they would clean this up also.

MY A/C UNIT BROKE SUDDENLY ON A HOT DAY. BAYSIDE CAME WITHIN 3 HOURS AND REPAIRED UNIT IMMEDIATELY FOR A FAIR PRICE.

WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT WE DIDN'T GET THE COMPLETE EFFICIENCY CHECK WE WERE PROMISED DURING THE INITIAL VISIT.
