The work they did went quite well. I’m very happy. Their price was more than I had expected which I think happens all the time in renovation, but the work they did was quality work and so I didn’t mind the price.

The quote was $1800. The cost deterred me from working with them. With everything else they said what they did, but the bid was priced higher. They were asking too much for the work. I would use them again for a quote in the future.

We just bought a house that needed some cosmetic work - mainly paint and carpet. We did the painting ourselves and hired Bay Tile for the carpet. I got 4 quotes before I settled on them. 2 were in store estimates for carpet that was already there. One gave us quotes for plush that ranged from $3-$4.50 depending on the softness (a big factor for me. I like to lay on the rug with my kids and play!) The other place was my first stop, and they quoted about $2.78 for a nice carpet and stainmaster pad. I would have gone back there but went with a place closer because I'm so strapped for time right now. Then I had a national chain and Bay Tile give us an in home estimate. When the chaini came out, I had the samples from Bay Tile at the house, and they had the price/SF on them. The chain couldn't even come close. Same product and services pretty much, but they couldn't go below $4/SF and they said it would take about 1025 SF of carpet. Bay Tile came out the next day (Tuesday), measured, picked the carpet, and it was installed 5 days later. I absolutely love it. I got 2 different types - the cut and loop was about $3.50/SF, and the plush was $3.10/SF I believe. We could have gotten an inferior product and spent less, but I really really love the carpets and can't wait to crawl around with the kids. One con - They dinged up some of my freshly painted trim (not much), but I don't hold that against them. They got a nice tight seam to the wall and everything looks great.

Very courteous staff. Trina, the manager, was very helpful with selecting tile and design. The guys who did the tile were friendly and most of the work was done in a timely manner. Cleanup at the end of every day was excellent. We opted to get our fixtures on line which saved quite a bit of money. We also opted to get our granite at another place and we did the painting ourselves.This was okay with Bay Tile and I think we saved quite a bit of money this way. I would recommend overseeing the work---any remodeling work you have done. We found some areas that needed be redone, and to it's credit, Bay Tile promptly fixed the problems.

I went into their store. I looked at the flooring and tile. My interaction with them was fine. They were very informative and were very nice to me. They had a very good selection of tiles and wood laminate but not many samples of carpets as it was not their speciality. Overall, it was a very good experience. They gave me the actual cost when I was in their store. They were a little pricy for me but I liked the selections. I would not be considering them mainly because of their price and their carpet selection. I am planning to do tile, carpet and flooring in my house. They had a decent selection of carpets but not the one that I was looking for and I would like to do everything at once. They did not have as much as I was hoping. But in terms of tile, they had exactly what I was looking for.

They spent a fair bit of time with me in the showroom to find the right tile. Let me take home samples. The installers were very polite and punctual. The tile is beautifully installed. The installers probably cleaned up better than any other contractor I have ever hired. I really appreciated that. So nice not to have to clean up someone else's mess!

They were very professional and were top rated. Their cleanup and quality of their work was very good. The price was pretty reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

The project was started on the date that we had set up and finish in time,Tile guy ,(Tony) made sure that he laid down a tarp from the front door to the bathroom being remodel to protect our flooring.We had the tile laid in a diamond shape, and when doing the tile above the tub there was going to be a gap of a inch between the ceiling of the shower and the last piece of tile.Instead of just grouting the gap or laying the a small rectagluar shape around the top,(which would have stuck out like a sore thumb), Tony went a bought a piece of drywall and drop the ceiling so we would have a perfect diamond shape from top to bottom. Special thanks goes out to Tony for everything that he did for us.

Overall effort was well coordinated by Trina. Tile done well Installer (no longer with them) failed to secure drywall adjacent to new tile. Trina sent out a new installer who resecured the drywall. Since this slightly damaged the drywall in the process, she sent out a drywall person to completely repair it. I can't even tell it was repaired. We didn't care for the color of the floor tile after installation. Although it was our choice, because of our other problems, Trina removed the floor tile and installed new, different tile. She didn't charge us anything for the material and only her cost for the labor ($350). Looks great now. They are going to replace our bathroom counter top and reface the vanity. We have used Bay Tile several times. For them customer satisfaction is not just a saying but how they practice their business. Their prices are certainly competitive without hidden extras. We strongly recommend them.

My call for info was not returned until 4 days later. By that time, I had met with contractors and made my decision.

We've had Bay Tile do four separate jobs. I kept going back to them for their very competitive prices and quality of work. An example, we replaced the tile in our kitchen/dinette. Bay Tile workers sealed off these areas with plastic sheeting to ensure dust/dirt didn't escape into the rest of the house. Our best example was a shower addition. We negotiating for replacing the tile in one bedroom, I casually asked whether they could do a shower addition to our half bath. I was surprised with a yes. They also have a general contractors license. Their price was thousands less than others. Their quality was immaculate (for instance, laying plastic runners from our front door to the bedroom (their idea). As for responsiveness, well I'm an electrical contractor. I know that doing this work a general contractor would typically say at least two months. They were done from start to finish in one week. On the last day, they coordinated with 4 different trades to come at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00; each was on time to allow the next trade to do their work. I was very, very impressed. Heartily recommend them.

The designer took measurements and appeared to listen to the parameters I gave her, which included not moving any walls or doorways. The estimate she submitted was 2 times higher than any other we received and was accompanied by a very unprofessional pencil sketch of the space, not the CAD type of drawing other companies gave us. Details I had asked her to include were missing from the sketch, and she did not submit any ideas regarding the types of tile to be used, the fixtures, etc. The estimate was so far off the mark, we decided not to use this company.

STORE HAD GOOD SELECTION OF INEXPENSIVE TILE. INSTALLER WAS COURTEOUS AND A FAST WORKER. ONLY GLITCH WAS THAT HE DID NOT REPLACE THE CLOTHES WASHER DRAIN HOSE IN THE DRAIN.
