We needed to replace our 20+ years old heat pump and obtained 8 estimates from other heating a/c companies in Pinellas county. Those other vendors were obtained from Angie's list, local ads and referrals. Advanced Cooling Systems provided the best quote for a variable speed 3 ton heat pump. We were very impressed with the quality of their work, all wood floors were covered with canvas to protect from damage, NO debris from any kind was left behind. They removed the old air handler from the attic and installed the new one in the garage. They were on time from the beginning to the end of the project. The installers were very knowledgable, courteous and diligent. 100% recommended!

We needed to replace our air conditioning system and secured 7 quotes on several high efficiency units. Jim Osiel at Advance Cooling returned my call promptly and gave me a quote over the phone on a couple of systems we were looking at. He answered all of my questions and patiently returmed several calls to answer follow-up questions we had during the quote process. Jim came to our home, arrived on time for our appointment, and delivered the same quote and pricing he'd previously given over the phone. Installation was within a couple of days. The Advance team worked efficiently and were not intrusive while onsite. It was as painless as replacing an air conditioning system can be. We just completed the county inspection and the inspector commented on what a nice job they had done. I would definitely recommend this company. Their pricing, service and installation are excellent. Our Trane has a 10-year parts and 3-year service warrantly. We're very satisfied with Jim Osiel and his team at Advance Cooling.

We had a leak in one of our air handler closets: when we called our AC company with whom we have a contract to service the Ac,they could not figure out from where the leak was coming and blamed it on a leak in hte roof.we requested a roofing contractor who was good enough to come and inspect the roof and found the roof to be fine. We contacted Advanced cooling systems to request them to come and diagnose the issue as no one seems to be sure where the water was coming from. Advance Cooling systems was very prompt,returned my call the same day and came here the very next day.Jeff,the technician who came here was very thorough and diagnosed the problem which was a pretty serious one and fixed it for us We are so happy and grateful that we found Advanced Cooling on Angie's list I will give them a 11 on a scale of 1-10 in all departments ! I also nominate them for the page of happiness for 2011 They are a very good company,know what they are doing and are very reasonable and prompt in their response We are really grateful to them for having diagnosed & fixed a problem which was tough to diagnose by other Ac repair guys

We are very happy with this company. We signed up for the service plan to come twice a year for maintence. Very proferssional and honest. I called about six companies and they were the best one. Priced inbetween but very good. Plus I love supporting local small businesses.

I needed a new central air conditioning system and received a price quote from a company I had used for years. Then I used Angie's List to identify 6 highly rated companies and received quotes from them. I actually met with 4 of them. The company I had experience with was most expensive by far. Advanced Cooling was least expensive by about $400. I selected Advanced Cooling, and installers Eric and Josh did a very professional installation in every way. They were there on time and their cleanup was thorough. They were very competent. I especially appreciated that they cleared the original air handler drain line and used that one instead of using the unsightly one that had been added 2 years ago because the original one had become clogged. The only problem was that they were given the wrong backup heater for the air handler and were unable to complete the installation in one day. The impact on me was minimal since the company's policy is to have their service technician there for the required county inspection. The company scheduled the inspection on the day and time I requested, and the technician arrived a little early, installed the correct heater, and remained there for the inspection. It went very smoothly. Great job!

Jim Osiel came out and gave me and estimate for replacing my existing A/C system. He was very puctual and helped me save money were he could. He did not try to talk me into anything other than I needed for my home. I was in the process of getting other estimates at the time and told him I would get back with him. In the end he did give me the best estimate. I called and made arrangements to install the A/C unit the next Tuesday. He said his staff would be there about 9:00 am and finish about 3:30 or 4:00. They came at 8:55 am and completed the job about 3:40 pm. Upon arrival Josh and Eric immediately got to work. They seemed very competent and comfortable with what each of them were doing. They were considerate of my home and answered all my questions professionally and politely. They worked steady without much conversation between the two of them. They took a fairly short lunch break (they sat in their truck to eat) and then got right back to work. After lunch they finished up the job, cleaned up their mess (including vacumning), showed me how the thermostat worked, and gave me an overall preview of the inside and outside system. I am very pleased with this company and would not hesitate to reccommend them to my family and friends.

Techician replaced a ruptured capacitor and corrected nearly burned through wires.

When ACS came for our yearly maintenance we explained that our guest bedroom never got cool enough for our guests in the summer. After a call to the office, the technician gave us an estimate of $350 to run a larger cooling line directly out of our air handler to the guest bedroom. Our previous A/C company (who was also on Angie's List with a previous years service award, of which I would NOT recommend) never mentioned anything about the possibility to install larger duct work to the room. Eric & Josh came on time, did a neat job and our guests who just left to go back home said that they enjoyed their stay and slept like babies. The only reason that this review is late is because i wanted to actually get some feedback from our guests. This is the kind of service I expect from a company that is an Angie's List super service award winner.

The whole process was done very quickly with little fuss. His installer was prompt and cleaned up after the job was completed.

Can't say enough good things about ACS. It only took them about 3 hours to complete the install and left the house cleaner than when they arrived.

We got quotes from five highly rated companies from Angie's List and it was a difficult choice as all the companies were very professional and responsive. ACS removed our existing heat pump and air handler and installed a new one of each. Jim(from ACS) recommended a 2.5-ton unit to replace the existing 3-ton unit. He said that the 3-ton unit was oversize for the house and the duct work. This was in agreement with what we had been told by an energy auditor from Progress Energy a year and a half ago. He also recommended a variable speed air handler. Jim said that it would be more efficient at removing moisture from the air keeping our house more comfortable and we might even find that we could keep our thermostat set at a higher temperature. This has been proven correct and we very happy with the heat pump and air handler installed. Our heat pump had quit working in the middle of August. We had another company give us a recharge. They let us know that the unit was pretty much done for. As my wife and I were making our decision on the following Saturday night I received a call from work informing me that I was to be sent out of town for three weeks on emergency business and simultaneously, literally, the recharge ran out. I called ACS and let them know of our decision and our situation. As I arrived at my destination Sunday our unit was recharged by ACS. They had to recharge it once more before the installation (both recharges were) free. ASC was good enough to FedEx the contract for me to sign with return postage paid within a day. My wife reported that a two-person team arrived for installation about five-days later and had the entire job done in about six hours. We had one minor problem with a humming noise coming from the air handler (I guess it forgot the words, ha, ha). A technician was sent out within 30 minutes of my calling and took care of it (turned out to not be much of a problem). Anyway, we're quite happy with the job and the house feels much cooler than it did before even at a slightly higher temperature (78 vs. 76 degrees).

I called at 9:20AM and the work was done by 10:20AM! The company we used to use I could not find their number so I looked up ACS on Angie's list. They had all good reviews and were pretty close to home. I called and spoke to Karen, she gave me some free advice on the phone to see if I could solve the issue. Then she sent Jeffrey out to the house. He arrived before I did, diagnosed, and fixed the issue in about 20 minutes. When I came home he was there waiting with the faulty part, we checked his fix and all was well. I would definitely use ACS again in the future.

The job went well and they were very professional.

This work took 2 employees 2 days to complete. Both arrrived on time each day, were very professional, worked hard all day, kept us informed as to what to expect and left us with the work areas clean. We are entirely satisfied with the work and have no complaints about any aspect of the work they did. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them.

The ACS company could not in stall the unit for four days, so he put freon in the old unit until he could install the new unit. Their price was much lower than the other three companies. They were professional and fast.

Jim, the owner came to the house and patiently explaned what should be done and presented the options to accomplish the task. Everything was done as explained. They worked very hard and were very proffesional. I WOULD DEFINETLY reccomend them to anyone. They were A+

Our a/c wasn't working (on a weekend) and we called our former a/c service, who couldn't come out until late in the day. We called Advanced Cooling and they sent a serviceman (Jeff) right away. We couldn't have been more pleased and have already recommended them to our neighbors. We will switch our service agreement to Advanced Cooling for next year.

We have used Advanced Cooling Systems several times now. We found them on Angie's List, and called them instead of the group we had used before. With the previous company, we were always frustrated that when we had our A/C serviced that the technician spent more time trying to sell us upgrades, biofilters, and all sorts of extraneous things rather than tending to the matter at hand. This is NOT the case with ACS. Advanced Cooling addressed our issue, gave us options, and even walked through more options on the phone afterwards. When we decided on a course of action, they gave us a date, time, and price, showed up exactly as planned, performed the work for the price quoted, and were off! It has been great to have them around.

I got much more than I expected. He took the time to answer all my questions and tell me about the best system for my home. A wonderful company and really great employees.

Replaced old out of date ducts. Installed new ducts in such a way that I was able get much more storage space in my attic. Also new ducts have better insulation quailities. The men were proffesional and cleaned up after done. Were able to finish in one day.

The removal and installation of the new system went very smoothly. It was quite cool when they came, but it started raining and turned cold before they finished and left. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
