Description of Work: They replaced a 12 yr old 3 ton Amana AC with a 3 ton Trane 2 stage 16 SEER 3 ton system. I invited 4 of Angie's list top rated Trane dealers to give me estimates for a replacement package system. All four estimators were very professional and I learned important information from each of them.Jeff of Advanced Cooling Systems has almost 30 years experience and his knowledge really stood out. Jeff was the only one that told me about Rebates and also my existing return air was only 12 inches and it should be a 14 inch. He also was the only one to offer a solution to a special cooling/heating area that saved us a great deal of money.I was also able to purchase a 12 year parts and labor warranty that gives the wife and I peace of mind for a very long time(the warranty price was not included the above price). Their regular labor warranty is 3 years. The installers did an Excellent Job and I highly recommend this company even if you pay slightly more than the lowest estimate.

Description of Work: We had a new AC system installed in a 1950's era home, moving the outdoor unit and the air handler from their old positions. The installers did good work on the modifications, and the new system works great. I would recommend this company for your AC work.

Description of Work: I have been using this company for several years now and they have always done an outstanding job, both in my former home and now my present home!! This was a service call for a clog in my drain (again), which was promptly fixed. This is a condo problem, nothing to do with ACS, so they fix it. I signed up for the maintenance short-term contract, but think the basic service call is approx. $79.

Description of Work: They made a same-day service call, squeezing me into their schedule. Professional and punctual. Came out and did a quick assessment that problem was purely the condensation drain, and fixed it without any additional charge beyond the service call. Would recommend them.

Description of Work: Installed an a/c, air handler, and a new zone system. Install went well although they did not have all the parts they needed to complete install in one day. Had to wait 3 days to get job completed. They came 1 1/2 hours late on the second day after asking that I come home early.

Description of Work: I requested a service online, they called me back the next day and scheduled an appointment in the next day. The technician came on time and check the AC and the work. The cost was reasonable.

Description of Work: After interviewing 9 installers of different ac systems I chose these folks to install a new Trane system. They were very patient and helpful with my many questions and concerns before, during and after installation. Any Trane system is big bucks and with money being an issue I wanted to make sure I had the best people to work with. I feel I succeeded. Their customized installation was appreciated as I did not want to lose some storage space in my small townhouse on the Dunedin Causeway . They were professional, knowledgable, caring, punctual and did what they said they were going to do. I have referred them to 7 plus people ( have lost count ) who are happy customers as well. I had two follow up visits with them and I was amazed that they were here in minutes. I always got call backs in a timely manner. I have appreciated their Company and hope Jim will always be around the area to continue to service my unit. They are a very nice group of people who seem to have a respect for each other and for the customer. My only complaint is that Trane units are so expensive but, they have the best warranty around, have a good product and you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Air conditioner went out on Sat evening when we had overnite house guests. It have been a very hot day. I looked up names on Angies list for A+ listings and phoned the first three. One simply could not come (swamped), one did not answer, and Advanced did answer, called their field guy who was out dining with his fiancee (remember its Sat nite), called back and said someone would be there in one hour. They were and it was about a 20 minute fix (blown capasiter) and it was up and running is less than a hour and a half. Worker was clean, polite, and informative.

Description of Work: I watch a condo for a friend who spends alot of time out of the country. Her air conditioner was freezing up, so I asked a friend for a reference to have the unit serviced. He recommended Advanced Cooling Systems. The news was not good, but I knew my neighbors' system was very old. I asked the serviceman for an estimate on two different new A/C units. I told the serviceman that I would contact my neighbor and get back to him. My own system was over 15 years old and was costly to operate. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices given for new units that I bought one on the spot. My neighbor also agreed to purchase the same unit as me. Both A/C units were installed the next day. I am very pleased. Advanced Cooling made the whole process painless. The installers were pleasant. My only criticism would be that they need to bring a shop-vac with them when they do installs inside homes. A little messy.

Description of Work: Provided one of seven estimates I obtained in the process of replacing our Heating and Air Conditioning Equipment, actually a heat pump. This company provided an excellent estimate and was professional and courteous throughout the process. I used another company for the system I purchased and had installed but this was the company sencond to the one I used and there was very little difference in their overall estimates.
