Dish Network both e-mailed and phoned me the day before and an hour before arriving as to when the arrival time at my home would be and told me the expected length of time the work would be completed in. The technician was on time and was very professional and got right to work. He explained things as well. The end result was excellent.

They were very late for the appointment without a call. The technician who eventually did come out was very apologetic and work hard to get things installed. He had difficulty with the installation because it was tied into a home theater wiring system. Also, the TV was an HP flatscreen and they (the installer and the tech support) were not able to link the remote with the TV , even though they had been the provider for the original installation several years prior for the original owner of the house. I eventually had to hire an acoustics professional to tie the sound system into the TV reception. I think the dish technician tried very hard to make it work, but it was outside their area of expertise. My advise, if you have a system that is not straight forward is to be ready with someone with broader experience to complete the installation. To this day I do not have a remote that will turn on the TV and the receiver.

I have a love/hate relationship with Dish Network. They've surely got more junk channels than any other service I have ever seen. Customer Service is very good. I had to call them and they sent a guy to fix it. He did a bunch of stuff we didn't know needed doing. Then he found a problem with one of the receiver. He just took it out, grabbed one from the truck and got it going. It seems like they are willing to swap out any equipment - maybe they don't pay much for it! I'm not sure how it happened but I wiped out all my recorded movies, and I called them to find out what the heck was going on. They showed me a place where you could see they had been deleted. I couldn't figure out how that had happened, when he showed me how many steps it takes just to do it. You can't restore them when they are deleted. He gave me three free pay-per-view which wasn't much but I guess they felt they had to do something. In Athens we can't get over the air channels, which is what I would have done, so the only real option when I came here was Dish or Direct TV. It is not like I have a lot of options. If I had, I would go to a cable company. With cable, you can watch one thing and record another. You can't do that with Dish. If you are watching a show you cannot record another show on that same line. I would not continue to use them if there was a better alternative.

The service is fast, there is no problem. Everything is working good. The internet is working good, its fine, no problem and there is no interruption. The phone is fine; I have not had any problems with it. Quality is good. In terms of responsiveness, we have not had to call up for anything yet. In terms of professionalism, we have not had to deal with them yet. We would surely use his services again in the future.
