Description of Work: A mutual friend told me about Aguaman Water and suggested I see there water awareness program, and I am so glad I did. I knew something was wrong with the water, but after being educated as to why it has deteriorated so badly I knew something had to be done about it. However, the water technician who came was not pushy at all. He left me with a brochure and told me to call them whenever I was ready to move forward. A few weeks later after I had done my research my neighbor decided to get one at his house so they were able to discount the installation for me as well.

Description of Work: A friend of mine referred me to Aguaman Water Company to have my water tested, and since I had been noticing some strange odors coming from the water decided to have it checked. What I found out was a bit shocking, but I wanted to do my research before purchasing a system as integrity is hard to come by these days. The technician said he would still honor the company discounts if I got back to him within 2 days with a down payment, which I really appreciated. After doing my research it was obvious to me this was the best system out there for the money and what he told me was in fact all true (NOT ALL SYSTEMS ARE THE SAME). He also honored the discount as he said he would and installed the system within a few days.

Description of Work: I purchased a water softener a 15 years ago after I moved to Florida from Pennsylvania because I noticed a big difference in the water down here. When I moved again, this time within the State of Florida, I used my old water softener as selling point in my home. I also figured there had to be newer water technology and with my "expertise" I felt I could skip the sales pitch, save money and go to one of the "Big Box" Home improvement stores, pick one out, and have a plumber install it. So I did my research on the brands the stores carried. Then I called my old National water softener company and asked them to send me a person who would educate me on the latest and greatest in Water technology. Instead, they sent out a sales rep! All he did was test my water, do a dog and pony show about things I already knew as a previous customer. I was waiting to learn about the new technology in water. I was ready to buy the latest and greatest technology. The problem was, he didn't tell me anything new or exciting. I basically got the same exact pitch from my old National water softener company that I got years ago and it was very high pressure! I went to the "Big Box" stores and they contradicted themselves and really didn't know anything so I pretty much decided I was just going to buy the cheapest one. I'm glad I didn't because I am one of the few that now has what I consider the be the best drinking, showering, bathing and cleaning water in Florida thanks to a mailer I got from Aguaman Water Company sent to my neighborhood. I now have friends come over with gallon jugs and water bottles that I fill up straight from my R/O tap. Since I purchased the Water Purification system from Aguaman. Now, I easily drink 4 - 16 ounce glasses at one sitting, whereas before I couldn't drink more than a glass or two glasses in an entire day. Seeing their water presentation was a great learning experience as they explained how the water in Florida has changed over the past 5 years and why the other systems have such a difficult time handling Florida's water. Purchasing this new updated system has turned out to be one of the best investment I've made both financially and for health reasons. Not only do I drink more water, my coffee and foods tastes so much better. I actually don't want to shower anywhere else, even if I stay in a fine hotel, I miss the water from my shower. Our laundry detergent lasts much longer, plus I don't have to drag heavy cases of water to my house anymore - not to mention the plastic is bad for the environment.

Description of Work: Aguaman Water offered to test our water and we couldn't believe what was in our water. It works great and the changes in the water are amazing!!! We never realized how bad it was until we started using good water.

Description of Work: Aguaman Water came to our house to check our water and do a demonstration for my wife Lynda and myself. The salesment did a great job explaining why the water has gotten so bad over the past 5 years in central Florida, and the importance of having a high quality water treatment system. He was very honest about everything and certainly not pushy. The warranty was really impressive too so we purchased as system and absolutely love it. My wife was amazed at the improvement in her hair and skin and we have both noticed many other benefits from having it

Description of Work: Aguaman Water Co installed a mini Water System called a Homeguard at my place. I didn't need their big system as it was just me, and I don't have much space so i was glad to hear they had a unit capable of handling Florida's water yet small enough to fit. The sales agent suggested we added a Big Blue with our system, and actually included for me at no charge which was great. Best of all I can take it with me when I move!
