TRUE LIVING WATERS POOLS

We had always maintained our own pool in the past, but decided we really could use some assistance this year. Carol's team has been great - very professional and friendly. They were very responsive to phone calls and showed up weekly when they said they would. If they were unable to show up on the normal scheduled day, they would text us to let us know when they would come. This was greatly appreciated. Our pool has never looked so good!! We were happy to pay the $110 monthly fee for such great service.

The owner of this company- True Living Waters Pools and Spas (407-913-0174), Carol Scala, was truly the most bitter, unpredictable and unprofessional contractor we have ever worked with. And she had the audacity to call her business "Christian" and will tell you upon introduction that "she works for God before anyone else", yet her behavior and treatment of others is as far from "Christ-like" as this faith-filled family has ever witnessed. We are new to pool ownership responsibilities (having just moved to Heathrow from Texas) and quite open in speaking about needing all the help we can get and our pleasure to pay whatever the going rate is for someone to properly care for our property. Yet this woman made accusations about us, including intentionally damaging our own beautiful pool (try to figure that one out?), or intentionally brushing unhealthy debris into our very own pool to cause her more work (or other outright lies that were simply non-sensical, unprofessional and totally contrary to any definition of what a customer/client relationship ought to be.) The situation was not only very wrong, but also equally strange. I'm wondering if the BBB has any history of similar strangeness? Unfortunately our experiences with her the past ew months couldn't have been as far from being an example of something we all know as "the golden rule" than complete strangers I have dealt with in previous years in a little land called Afghanistan cultural light years away from where we all stand right now. Not only am I ashamed to have to write a review like this, but am hurt that I was so thrilled when we first met and she went on and on about her "faith-filled" business to which I surprisingly invited her and her son into our house to see the beautiful tribute which had been created as a surprise to me by a homeless-veteran as a tribute to the tragic death of my son whom we lost only a few years ago. When she spoke of her faith and introduced the type of business she claimed to be so successful with, I thought she would appreciate the beautiful spirit of God and karma of mankind that this humble work of art conveys. So for now, I just pray for her personally and whatever may be driving that level of anger at innocent and decent clients like ourselves, but I feel a duty to the readers of Angie's List (which is a very credible means of selecting good contractors, by the way), as none of you should have to be surprised by such poor service and unnecessary, inhumane treatment. Please read some of the other reviews that I have written about the outstanding contractors that have helped us make our new/old home here so nice. I give credit where it is due, and we had some outstanding work with everyone else, via Angie's List input, up to this point. (The price I quoted $105/month was her monthly cleaning fee, which was later reduced to $95/month). We feel very fortunate to call Lake Mary, Heathrow, the Orlando area and our beautifully renovated ranch house a "home" to be proud of. And let's pray for Carol and whatever life issues she may be battling that we do not know of and that this unfortunate experience is something we can all look at in the past-tense someday. This went very well, the crew showed up at the time they said they would be here. They worked through several days to repair and refinish the surface of the lanai and a large concrete patio. The job was completed on schedule and the price was exactly what he had said it would be. I would highly recommend this company for not only the refinishing work on pools and patios, but they also service my pool weekly. I have no complaints with there service or the prices.
