My wife and I have a 2 story, 1400 sq. foot townhouse. We returned from an extended vacation and found the air conditioner had failed, resulting in a significant increase in humidity - causing a serious mold infestation. The entire house, from top to bottom, was covered in mold - furniture, appliances, pillows, clothes, bedding, shoes, and televisions. The mold was pervasive throughout the entire house and was particularly invasive in our wicker furniture. We solicited 2 estimates, one of which was Pro-Tech Environmental Restoration. Rafael, from Pro-Tech, spent an hour with us explaining everything he would do to address the mold and gave us a fair price. We decided to go with Pro-Tech because of all the remediation work he committed to do. He and his team worked diligently to address the mold. They worked long hours, including Saturday, and he stopped by on his day off to ensure de-humidifiers and air-handler machines were working properly. Rafael addressed all our concerns, patiently explained what he was doing, and answered all our questions without hesitation. What Rafael did to remediate the mold exceeded our wildest expectations. He made a most difficult situation palatable Since the mold was caused by a much higher humidity level than normal, Rafael brought in four large dehumidifiers to bring down the humidity to a reasonable level. He and his team spent more than 4 days removing mold from all surfaces, inside and out, top and bottom. He applied an anti-microbial solution to everything. He cleaned and polished all the furniture. When he was done with our furniture, including the wicker pieces, they looked as if they just left the showroom. He opened up every cabinet and drawer (such as the kitchen cabinets) and individually cleaned the contents ? dishes, pots and pans, etc. He cleaned and polished everything. He cleaned the tops of the kitchen cabinets, and to my amazement, even pulled the stove out from the wall and turned it on its side to clean the underneath surface. We had brought in a soft goods remediator (clothes, pillows, mattresses, etc.) for an estimate. With the exception of clothes that we washed ourselves, all items the soft goods remediators said they were to address were resolved to our satisfaction by Rafael and his team, saving us a substantial amount of money. I would not hesitate to recommend Pro-Tech Environmental Restoration Services to anyone in a similar situation needing mold remediation services.

Rafael and son of Pro-Tech did a SUPERB job cleaning our a/c ducts and furnace coils. I was able to schedule an immediate appointment and they kept in contact with me before and after the work. Their attention to detail was spot on and kept me informed on all their findings as they performed their work. They spent nearly the entire day working in our home to ensure a thorough job. I was impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and concern to care for our home and belongings while they worked. They cleaned up after themselves as they left each room, too. Nice people & highly recommended!
