Lowe's Of Fern Park Fl

I have this efficiency gene that I was born with. And when things are not efficient it really rubs me the wrong way. And I can't help myself. I am retiring at the end of this year and then I will have time to do the follow that I want to do which would be to contact the chairman of the board or the president of Lowes with some photographs. Because when you walk into Lowes, well at Home Depot they always have the carts right by the door or if not they are right inside the door or they have somebody standing there to push one to you. They don't do that all of the time but for sure the carts are right there within 5 to 6 feet of the door for you to grab a cart as you walk in the door.Which to me is smart because you want people to pull a cart into the store cause they can load it up with more stuff then if they go without a cart. You would think that this is just common sense. But at Lowes, the carts are in like a tunnel next to the door and there is like 4 rows wide of carts and what they'll do is they will keep all 4 rows evenly the length of the rows will be the same so if there is 8 carts they'll have 4 rows wide of 8 carts so that they customer has to walk 30 to 40 feet down this tunnel to pull one off. Instead of putting one long row they make you walk to the end of the tunnel and it is so irritating to me that I have taken pictures of it but I just haven't taken the time to follow up. So I went to the customer service and said that and they said that's a really good idea we should do that. And I talked to a manager and I'd come back and nothing had changed. So I talked to the store manager and nothing changed. Nobody gives a D#*% at that store. I got a $25 off coupon in the mail for their profession department, but I went to the store and they could not figure out what the gift certificate was, they couldn't get it to read. I spent 40 minutes at the store and finally talking to different people, could never get the manager down he was too busy finally I got somebody in customer service to actually figure it out but it took me 40 minutes. The service at the store is just awful. They get an A for price because they now give a 10% discount for veterans. It used to be you had to be active duty but now it is for anyone who has served at all. I am only using them again because they give me a 10% discount. I will have to say that Lowes does a better job of providing staff and they do have the push button you can push the button and you can get somebody from customer service to come to your area. Home Depot doesn't have that which is a huge negative for Home Depot.

Went over there and told them I needed a water heater. The one going out was going into an condominium. The young man help me, and told me what I needed. My mother told me to go ahead and do it. We scheduled an time. I was desperate to get it done. They fit me in their schedule. The young fellow had to call me, he was delayed. He kept me informed. He had so many jobs that day. They came in that afternoon. Later than I was hoping. I wasn't going anywhere. He was on his own. A young fellow. I was impressed with his strengths, and how he was going to get it in. He had to get the old one out of the air conditioning shoot above it, and get the new on in. I watched him test for leaks. He asked me help him by cleaning the water pan it stood in. Which I did. I enjoyed working with him. He answered all my questions. I was amazed how he got everything in and out. I was really impressed with the technical work. I knew from the young fellow they weren't back filling him very well. I blame that on Lowe's.

It came out excellent. He was honest and did his work without any stopping till he finished his work. Great customer service. I would use them again in the future.

Had to call a second time - same problem, when I called the number for repair (I had a warranty) was told that I would want to speak with a person who documents repeat problems. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names, but after listening to my story - I felt that this clothes washer was a lemon - she said she would let the manager know of my problems. Less than two hours later Ashley from the Fern Park, FL Lowe's store contacted me and said that I should come in and pick out another washer. Bottom line - Ashley refunded the entire cost of my washer and cost of my maintenance agreement. I then with the help of Jennifer picked out a different clothes washer - cost was $82 more. . .I now have a HE washer that I am enjoying! Thank you to Ashley and Jennifer.
