This contractor bid a project for me and was significantly higher priced than the competition. We had another contractor complete the work, and then a month later we are being harassed by The Hawaiian contractor for not accepting his bid, he even contacted the contractor I used and harassed them for not charging enough. This is not how I prefer to conduct business. Never again for me.

Response from The Hawaiian Contractor LLC
I quoted $43000 to covert a 2 story home from vinyl siding to stuccco. I informed the client that a permit from the city along with several inspections were required. I also informed them that their make shift back porch ceiling they installed without a permit and not to hurricane code would most likely have to be removed when the city saw it. To do a proper one would be 30-40k. I was in the area on 1/7/25 and saw the home was completed. The client told me last August they were going with someone else for $35000. I was not able to come down that much and do the job legally. Their licensed contractor did the work without a permit which will probably be reported to DBPR and affect their license. This client and his wife have slandered my name on every social media site, threatened to come to my home AND called local police to say I’m bothering them. He is mentally unstable and/or very upset he was caught doing illegal work on his home. I turned this violation over to the city on 1/7/25 and he’s been harassing me since 1/9/25. A cease and desist letter is being sent out. I have all texts, emails and pics to confirm my story and they have been forwarded to the city and will be turned over to DBPR
