Sharkey's Aluminum & Screens

The rating is a zero!!!! Worst customer service ever!!!! They put our cage up in April 2022, didn’t call for inspection until August 2022, which failed inspection, (1 month before hurricane Ian). Called to get on schedule to fix ripped screens and soffit damage. Gave us nine million excuses, finally came to realization we had to reopen permit under “homeowner “ and hire another company to fix the issue that failed inspection. Couldn’t get a permit for any of the other issues we had from the hurricane until this permit was passed and cleaning see out!!! BUYER BEWARE

After Hurricane Ian came through and destroyed my Lanai screen enclosure I contacted Sharkey's and they did an amazing job. Keeping in mind that the company was getting hundreds, if not thousands, of phone calls and emails, the owner, Dave, kept me informed of the progress of each point of the construction process. The workers were professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Sharkey's aluminum and screening! If they can keep me happy when they are overwhelmed, than I'm certain they can make anyone happy as I am probably the most impatient person in the world LOL. Give them your business and you won't be sorry!

Our experience with this company was excellent. They were prompt and professional. We had a little problem with the new doors not closing right, but David was right there to rectify the situation. We will definitely hire them again if necessary.

installation went perfect. After Irma winds I had 2 screens blowout on 1 side. I called over 2 dozen times, over a 3 month period. I received numerous excuses and commitments to come out and repair. My screens are still blown out and I'm currently searching for someone to repair.

Original Mexican or Chinese Fiberglass screens that came with the house tore during the Hurricane. I decided to replace all screens with Phifer Tuff Screens. Dave provided one of the first estimates I got after the hurricane. His price was about in the middle, but I liked the fact that he could do it right away vs. having to wait weeks to months. Most of the other estimates I got were obvious inflated due to supply and demand, and all wanted a deposit to lock in the inflated price. Overall quality was very good, he completed the work in a day (3 people including himself working). I would recommend him to others.

I called for an appointment for a free estimate and David came on time and gave me a quote at that time. I said lets do it and scheduled the work be done and only a few day's away from the estimate. FAST! Two guys arrived about 5:30pm and worked till the job was done about 8:30.The guy's did a GREAT job. The price was very fair and the best by far from other quotes. I would recommend you give these guy's a try, i'm glad we did. Very Happy with their work.
