Description of Work: 1st half of contract, exterior house painting completed 30 days later than represented (paid in full); 2nd half of contract for two driveways and one pool deck, took another 50% down, never showed up to work.... abandoned some eqpt left on job site over 3 mos. Description of Work: I signed a contract October 15. It was supposed to be completed in 30 days. Phase one was to pressure wash, seal, and paint the exterior of my house. This was completed in December and Paid in full. The second phase was supposed to be completed in two weeks. I got a phone call to delay it for two more weeks. I went out of town and he still had access but did no work. He then called to delay it to January 12th. I have nothing in writing for the postponements. He compiled a complete written addendum to the contract and dropped it off. It is not acceptable to me. The work that was supposed to be done was 5500 square feet of driveway and pool deck to be pressure washed, re-stained, colored, and sealed. He keeps delaying it, even beyond the 12th. He keeps offering a discount of $100 a day per delay from here on out. I just want the work to be done! To date, the only thing that's been done is the pressure washing and that was 6 weeks after when he was supposed to begin. The price he is charging me is too aggravating for non-performance. I'm trying to sell my home and the Real Estate Agent told me to take it off the market because of the delay and the inconvenience of the appearance during the pressure washing phase. This was due to all the equipment lying around for 6 weeks!
