Modern Cuts of Southwest Florida

Mowed my yard every week in the dry season, so short, they broke multiple sprinkler heads. Rainy season comes and they hardly showed. Main reason for hiring this service was for the shrub maintenance that was included, that only happened 2 maybe 3 times in an 8 month period and that only happened because I had to reach out and ask when they were coming to service. Their administration specifically HALEY -- extremely unprofessional, doesn't care about the customer, talks over you from a speaker phone and repeats herself without solving issues. They said I was a problem client because I continued to ask when services would be provided. Then they advised they would LOVE TO CONTINUE servicing my lawn. So I agreed, then they didn't show for 3wks, never returned any of my calls or texts and when I called and finally got through to Haley, she advised ..."oh your file says we re not servicing you any longer". UNPROFESSIONAL - UNRELIABLE - UNCOMMITTED - TAKERS NOT WORKERS - AVOID!

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with Modern Cuts of SWFL. They quoted $297 to trim the bushes and shrubs in our front yard, remove weeds from all beds, clear debris, string edge, and spray to prevent further weeds. They, unfortunately, did not deliver. The crew showed up 15 min late and spent a total of 20 min working in my yard trimming bushes and using a weed whacker to ‘remove weeds’ leaving the beds full of half chopped up weeds before spraying. It simply was not the level of detail or service that has been discussed or approved. The experience further declined when I reached out with my concerns on the quality of the job. The person I spoke with was more interested in arguing with me and telling me that I was wrong than working to find a solution. Unlike this company, I kept my end of the agreement and paid them. I am incredibly disappointed in how all of this turned out. I will never hire them again and advise anyone reading this to go with a different pro. There are people who will charge 1/3 of the price I paid to deliver the same results.

They did an excellent job. Did the job when they said they would and in a timely fashion. We will use them again.

My wife and I recently bought a house in Cape Coral. We were very lucky to find Modern Cuts. Antonio, Hailey and the rest of the company have been a pleasure to work with. Very professional, quick to respond and willing to help out with anything and everything they can. Antonio can do just about anything you ask him. And if he can’t do it, he knows someone who can. Highly recommend to everyone.

Contracted this company for a tree cut, removal, and stump grinding. Initially only cut and removed tree. After many attempts to contact the office and Antonio personally, they finally came and ground them stump. They only ground it down a few inches although we requested it ground out fully for replanting purposes in the contract. Unfortunately, they had already gotten the full payment and when i try to contact Antonio personally to correct it, he assured me he would get right back to me. Instead he won’t answer his calls/messages and blocked me on Facebook(i actually knew him from high school hence why i chose to go with him). I would NEVER recommend doing business with this man. Very shady and unethical.

From the very first call the service was very professional. Haley was very helpful throughout the entire process. Jason and his crew were also very professional and very helpful in discussing what needed to be done. It was the hottest day of the year to date, yet the crew preserved to complete the task. They are a great team and should be very proud of the services they offer. Excellent company to support your particular yard needs.

Antonio and his team were very professional. We had a few minor glitches along the way, but nothing that couldn't be overcome. The project was completed to our complete satisfaction. We know there will be more work coming in the future and we will be very confident calling Modern Cuts again.

Great! Art and his men, came on time, went right to work. He has a great attitude. He had the right equipment. Finished up quickly and to my satisfaction. Cleaned up! Satisfied with his cost. Would recommend him. And definitely, call on him again in the future.

Over all it was a great service. They explained what would happen, how much it would cost, and what would be possible.

It went alright. I called them to do move trimming Antonia (the owner) came and gave me a great price. The problem came when he never came to do the job. Couldn’t get in touch with him. His phone was full and when I emailed their website, no reply. Don’t waste your time on this business.

Antonio stopped by home to survey for estimate, contacted me by phone and then just disappeared after initial consultation. Attempts to call and text went unanswered.

Great! They did a beautiful job and cleaned up all debris. They also did our neighbor’s tree too and again did a great job.

Mike was responsive on the quote request and was professional in our conversation. I will keep Modern Cuts in my call list if needed in the future.

Good Company to work with. The employees are very good, and the layout was very well planned and thought out. Very satisfied with the process and results. Reliable lawn service as well.

Modern cuts does a great job and we have always been happy with their quality work

Ethan and his crew were timely, professional, and completed the work in less time than I expected. They took the time to walk my large property with me and do everything I asked, as well as helping make suggestions in areas I wasn't sure what to do. The property looks amazing after their work! They had to clear out a ton of overgrowth and debris, but while doing so, left the property looking clean and still lush and inviting. I would recommend Modern Cuts of SW Florida to anyone in the Fort Myers area. Wonderful company and team!
