In early 2011 I retained the services of BRENDA COLE located on Cape coral pkwy. We discussed listing price as well as commission. Brenda told me that she charges 6%. I understand realestate, and understand that 3% would go to the listing agent and the remaining 3% would go to the selling agent; which was not BRENDA COLE. I told BRENDA COLE that the commission was kind of high, and so WE agreed that I would pay the 6% on the sale of my home which worked out to $12,900 , and that I would get 1% back on my next purchase. What a great ploy to ensure she would get more money. Well guess what I DID NOT GET the 1% back on my next purchase that BRENDA COLE agreed to. I purchased an other home through BRENDA COLE and received nothing! not even a gift basket or a coupon for a coffee. What a great way to thank some one that just wade you $10,350. The best part about all of this, is that it was BRENDA COLES assistant who did all the work for me. BRENDA COLE did not take me through one single home, did not write one single offer, did not pull comps on one single property! in fact it was me who found the home on MLS myself! BUT YET SHE GOT HER 3% OF MY $130,000 purchase. which worked out to $3900. It was then communicated to me by her assistant, that If i decided to sell this recent purchase at anytime that BRENDA COLE would honor our original agreement!.........FAT CHANCE OF THAT EVER HAPPENING! I learned never to do business with a dishonest person. I hope that my testimonial and experience with dealing with BRENDA COLE who now works for MILOFF AUBUCHON, will help someone make an educated decision when choosing a realtor. If you are looking for an honest, hardworking realtor that will do their homework and honor agreement, then do not waste your time retaining the services of BRENDA COLE for ANY of your realestate needs.
