Lara Construction Group Inc

We liked the Lara Brothers personally, but their subcontractors were terrible. Their tile contractor, New World Tile did an awful job laying the tile with uneven edges all thru the almost 1800 sq ft of tile. They came back and repaired many but there remains a number of irritating edges. After our first complaint they did a bedroom and hallway very satisfactorily, so it was simply sloppy oversight. Finally instead of Lara doing the pain themselves they hired a subcontractor to paint the unit. We were 'up north' during most of the work, and when we had our real estate agent check the job she said was terrible. Lara did some of it over, but when we came down we hired another painter to do most of it over. Bottom line is that Lara are very competitive and easy to work with, but we believe more attuned to doing middle market rental units than upscale homes.
